DONT GO HERE! It took them 2 and a half weeks to look at my car, and they charge $140 an hour to JUST LOOK AT IT.

While travelling from MA to WI for Christmas with family, my engine light came on, with a vague description that I checked for online and also with my own OBD tool during the night.the next morning I hoped one of the local auto places could take a look at it at least. Bavarian Autosport was all booked and busy, but knew I was travelling to see family and they had a technician come out to talk with me and see the code I pulled and how the car drove after the fault. The owner came in too, and said he could pull it in and check it out quickly. They checked the code and pulled a description that was very close to what I had and said it was affecting only the turbo, and should only affect the power but not leave me stranded. It was such a load off my mind, and I was able to continue to WI and spend time with my family. Now that I am back home, I wanted to leave a good review for this business being so nice to me when they did not have to be. From the nice lady behind the desk to the technicians and owner, I wanted to say a big Thank You for treating me so well!

Please stay away form this place. They do substandard work and when the work breaks down they charge you for doing the same thing over again and that too at an inflated price:
Here is my experience:
3/17: replaced water pump: paid 720 for it (gave me an estimate for fixing oil leak for $ 435 plus tax at this appt that I decided to wait on)
7/18: replace water pump again in just over a year.said that BMW makes them such that they keep breaking down
3/19: Fixed the oil leak and charged me 832 plus tax (original estimate
435 thats double in 2 years)
3/19: coolant leak (third time in 2 years.charged 553 plus tax)
4/19: replaced pulley drive belt. This broke down within 2 days after he had done the coolant repair. Find it hard to believe that this was a coincidence since he had mentioned that everything looked good at the last repair) paid 960 for him to fix it

5/21: replaced water pump again and charged me 918 for it and also gave me an estimate for fixing oil leak from oil cooler/oil filter for 967.he had done the same repair less than 2 years ago and it broke down AGAIN!)

THIS SEEMS TO BE A PATTERN WITH HIM. CHARGE CUSTOMERS EACH TIME FOR WORK THAT THEY HAD PAID FOR PREVIOUSLY and IF IT WAS DONE CORRECLTY WOULD NOT BREAK DOWN AGAIN. NOT TO MENTION HIS ARROGANCE lack of respect. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FORM THIS PLACE.

Great service with them every time I took my mini cooper in for service. I always be able to talk to Rick and he willing to answer any questions and point out what might be wrong with my car if I wanted to do the work myself.

Honest, friendly, straight shooter and EXTREMELY knowledgeable. Der BMW meister. Took the time and care to look over the entire car, and not just the item I brought it in for. True attention to detail. Will be going to Rick and not the dealer from now on. Thanks again.

Been using Bavarian Autosport for BMW repairs and service for over 5 years. Always fixed right the first time. They are true mechanics, not just parts replacers. I drive an hour, even for a standard oil change. No nonsense approach to auto repairs. Drop your car off with a list of issues, pick it up a week later.

Avoid all the glitz and glam of an overpriced dealership; cus you're ultimately paying for that fancy lounge with free water and coffee.

If you want a service manager that doesn't know which end of a screwdriver to use, go to the dealership. If you want true technicians with modern technology, but an old school approach to auto service; see Rick and is team at Bavarian.

Please do not make the same mistake that I did and attempt to utilize Bavarian Autosport's services. I took my VW Passat into this mechanic shop after receiving a recommendation from a close friend. They had my car for an entire week in order to fix some relatively small issues in my opinion.

After paying the bill, which was just under $2,100 I was able to drive my car off the lot. Within an hour of leaving Bavarian Autosport my check engine light was back on and the car stereo was no longer operating efficiently. I returned to Bavarian the next day and was greeted by a mechanic, who seemed very irritated that I had brought my car back in. After about 40 minutes they were able to force the check engine light to turn off. However, this repair was only temporary, as the next time I started my car the check engine light was back on.

As far as the car stereo is concerned, they told me that they did not do any work on this part of the car. They also told me that the car battery died multiple times while they were performing their mechanic work and that this could be at fault for the radio not working the way that it is supposed to. With this being said, they did not seem to care that they were at fault for this new issue and essentially told me that I should figure it out on my own.

My check engine light remains on after having spent close to $2,100 with this company. On top of this, I expect to accrue new costs in order to ensure the correct repair is made/the car stereo is fixed. Rick, the owner of Bavarian Autosport called me and stated that he would have his corporate attorney file a slander law suit against me should this review contain any incorrect information. I believe that this fact alone says it all about Rick, his company, and their business practices.

I have found Rick and team great to work with. Rick tells you what you need, tells you what it's going to cost, and delivers. He even did some research - at no cost - to help me with understanding problems with my M6 that were caused by other service providers. You can trust this team!
