Food was alright, but double the price of anywhere else where you could get the same food. (We compared what we got to another weekend when we went to bonefish grill and the meal was half the price, even with ordering more drinks). The server rarely came to our table- I ended up having to go find her in order to get napkins, pepper and bread. We were seated outside next to a table with a family who brought their standard poodle with them, (not on a leash) which kept coming over to our table to sniff our food.
Yes, it's cedar point prices, but you'd think if you're paying a $300+ tab, you could get a server that checks on you every once in a while and doesn't serve a cold lobster bisque.
Ambience is fun, especially with the roller coasters going by- I think that's really what you're paying for here.

The food, atmosphere, and service made this dining experience worth every penny. The shrimp appetizer was incredibly delicious. Everyone MUST try the lobster bisque - the best my husband and I ever had. I had the pesto pasta dinner, and my husband had the Cajun pasta - both so creamy, rich, and delicious. Portion sizes were also large. Wait staff was great, and it was a nice view of the Sandusky Bay. We will eat here again when we return to Cedar Point/Sandusky!

I was tempted to leave a four star review but changed my mind because of the delicious food and most of all Lori for her superb service and her fantastic attitude and sweet personality. My husband and I arrived at Cedar Point at 7: 30 on a Thursday night, because we had a trip planned with our friends to spend the weekend here camping with our RV. We quickly set the camper up and headed to eat (we were starving at this point!) at The Bay Harbor. We walked in and we were “greeted” by a young girl who never said hi or even looked at us, then a grumpy older lady walked out from the bar area with a look of disdain and said in a annoyed tone that they closed at 9 (it was 8: 30). We then were greeted at the dining room door by Lori (our waitress) who ushered us in and she just so happened to be a pure joy to behold, she was kind, didn’t care that we were there late and never once rushed us. She gave great suggestions, gave us just the right amount of attention and she truly made us feel welcome.
We ended up eating quickly so that they could close up and we were only there until a little after 9.
On the way out I noticed that two of the tables hadn’t been bussed and that the grumpy older lady and two other girls (one being the annoyed teen at the host station) were in the office talking, maybe bussing tables isn’t their job but if they were in such a hurry to get out of there that they felt the need to make us feel like we weren’t welcome, maybe they could have offered to help Lori (who had two other tables she was serving during our dinner).
I’ve been in the service business since I was a teenager and our first encounter at The Bay Harbor almost made me want to turn on my heels and never step foot in that place again but thanks to Lori and the cooks delicious food, we will return on our next trip. You never let a client/diner feel as though they aren’t welcome, it’s the last thing you want to do. Hate to call out people’s bad behavior but I’m guessing we weren’t the first people to experience it.

Thanks again to Lori and the cooks!

Interior is dated and feels dirty. Service was great, food was not. Filet Mignon tasted like nothing but grilled char, 3 limp asparagus and cafeteria mashed potatoes. Other diners in party enjoyed their fish and pasta meals. Not worth the $$ at all.

The restaurant was wonderful.it is the general manager that is the problem. I forgot my credit card there and called to confirm they had it before I drove back to get it on another day. The mgr on duty said yes, they have it and put it aside for me to pick up. When I went there to pick it up a few days later the general mgr was very rude to me. She had shredded it because she didn't know who it belonged to. Instead of apologizing to me or doing something to make it right she stood there and yelled at the other mgr about not putting a note on it. I told her I drove an hour there just to pick it up and she didn't even respond. While she was yelling at the other mgr I just turned around and walked out. All she needed to do was to say I am sorry, but instead made it everyone else's fault. Even though I love the restaurant, I will not go there again as long as she is running it.

We were celebrating our fiftieth wedding anniversary and wanted to have a special dinner for the occasion. The Bay Harbor Restaurant, as it turned out it was the perfect choice. The hostess, who took our reservation, Mackenzie, was delightful and very anxious to make sure our dinner was memorable. The view was spectacular even though the weather was gloomy when we we were seated. The sun eventually did break through which brighten the atmosphere, and our spirits. We had a superb meal complete with champagne for a toast. Our waitress, Kim, was especially attentive to us. After the main course she brought us a surprise treat topped with whipped cream and a candle…. On the house. To our delight, the staff went out of their way to wish us a happy anniversary. We could not have been happier with our experience at this establishment. We highly recommend The Bay Harbor Restaurant for any occasion.

What a wonderful birthday dinner with my family. Our server Alaina was lovely and the food was great. As an fyi, they give you a very generous serving of lobster bisque soup and it is very heavy and filling, so plan to be full by the time your dinner arrives. Seafood risotto was fantastic. Very memorable dinner. Thank you

When we pulled up to the gate to pay for parking (which is refunded to you once you pay your food bill) we were greeted by a lady taking payments who had quite a bit to say about our clothes. We wore cocktail dresses and skirts and my boyfriend wore a button up as we knew this restaurant is luxurious AND we were celebrating my boyfriends 21 birthday. She made comments to us about a dress code and that we need to be dressed “nicer”. When we parked at the restaurant there were guests inside the restaurant in casual clothes leading me to believe this woman just wanted to judge us. I’m still unsure if there even is a dress code

The food was amazing but the service was okay. I personally had made a reservation over the phone and when we arrived our reservation was not on the list. What looked like to be the manager had a horrible attitude towards us when she explained we didn’t have a reservation and then began to make rude comments about her staff as she led us to our table.

All in all I think the food and our waitress was a 10/10 but the rest of our experience was not great. Probably won’t come back.

Had a wonderful dinner with excellent service yesterday night. Highlights were the lobster bisque, escargot and the crab cakes.

It's hard to make it feel worth it to navigate the whole theme park entrance situation for a restaurant but it IS a really good restaurant. Service was exemplary; I was especially grateful that we showed up about forty-five minutes ahead of our reservation time - we planned to spend more time outside first and got hailstormed on, whoops - and they were very nice about it and were able to seat us immediately. It was a little louder than I prefer, and I wished it had more view of the water, but the general Beachy Vibe was there.

Food: Adored the cheesy stuffed mushrooms thing, which went beautifully with the bread and butter, and the seafood risotto was a beautiful example of its kind. (My husband liked his food too but I genuinely do not remember what he ordered because I was busy having an excellent scallops experience, haha.) Did not order dessert as I was entirely too full of seafood but several of the things sounded nice.

Drinks: I didn't enjoy the sour-mix blue thing, but probably personal taste, I think it did the thing it was going for well and I just didn't turn out to want the thing it was going for. Shoulda just ordered another Raspberry Truffle (SO good, enthusiastically recommend).

What a lovely jewel tucked back on the Cedar Point island. The food is excellent and well prepared. We went with another couple and all of us thought it was delicious with such a nice atmosphere. The risotto and scallops were my personal favorite. The only complaint I heard was that the blue cod could have had less chili sauce on it so that you could taste the actual fish a bit more. The price point is high but worth it. Not many fine dining restaurants in the local area so it really shines. The staff was kind, attentive and professional. Very well done!

Beautiful place for dinner. Great sunset views. Food is very meticulously prepared. Lobster bisque is best I've had anywhere. Definitely worth going to. You must go thru the amusement parks parking to get there but they give you a credit for your parking fee on the bill.

A must when visiting Sandusky/Cedar Point. Abby is the absolute best server we have ever had. The food is excellent. Very clean and a great environment that has a little bit for all on menu. This is the second time we have visited while on vacation for baseball tournaments, as we live over 8 hours away, yet we will visit everytime we come back.

Well, for the price and what we received- just eat at the Dairy Queen or McDonald's down the street. Heck even in Cedar Point the food is comparable if not better for a fraction of the price. If you are dining there and are not a member of the marina, when you pull in
you want to pull up to the box and call the attendant to let them know you are there for dinner- we did not know this causing some frustration just getting there making us go in circles and ask traffic attendants what we should do. Just embarrassing. Our service was great. The food was literally the quality of golden corral, husband ordered something that was the equivalent of a deconstructed Campbell's Chunky beef stew soup. The filet mignon I ordered was not anywhere close to being worth $47. I have had steaks from O'charleys with better texture and flavor.

Eh. Just imagine the most expensive food in a theme park. The price is there for top quality food but the quality just inst there
