Baymont by Wyndham Springfield

Do not stay here!
The general manager kicked friends out at 130 am because they checked in after midnight. They were 2 women and a child.
The rooms were paid for and reserved a month in advance.
We were at a horse show that ran late.

Careful at the Springfield, OH location. They photograph or scan your credit card and keep a printed copy on file. Employees can easily access the card information at anytime. They also will try to extort you for a cash deposit.

Low water pressure. Horrible rude ownership where did the hidden $100check in fee come from booked on priceline the breakfast was ok. If there was more waffle mix. Do better guys the price is rough for the treatment.

Clean, budget motel right near the highway. Staff is friendly and welcoming, even at 2am. Room includes breakfast: juice, Muffins, fruit, hb eggs. A deal.

Checked in at 2am.room had funky old sewer smell and found a maxi pad stuck to the back of the door. For the price could have been a lot better

Room musty/smoky smelling, breakfast selection very sugary/starchy. Bug on counter of room.

Wow what a disappointment for our stay at Beaumont Leffel Lane, Springfield Oh. Booked at King Bed didn’t get that. Cockroach’s in the room. Pepsi machine didn’t work, snack machine didn’t work. Would have to think long and hard before I ever book a room again with Wyndham

Room smelled, breakfast was nothing, no where to sit outside. Sent an email to hotel to
Complain and of course no one ever responded. Surprised for a Wyndham hotel. Just because you take on the name doesn’t mean the standards will be the same 1 out 10. Look some where else. Not worth it at all

Baare bones motel. Basically a place to sleep. They need some housekeeping staff as with everywhere else, can't find people that want to work.

Everything was OK with the stay, not great but ok, until I checked out and accidentally left my son's soccer jersey in the room on a hanger hanging on the back of the desk chair. Both my son and I knew exactly where it was, but forgot to grab it. I called the hotel as soon as I realized, about 1.5 hours after we had checked out. The man who answered the call was rude and asked me to call back in an hour. I called back a little over an hour later and this same managed me to call back in 30 minutes. Again he was very rude. When I called the third time, he said, we didn't find anything in the room. I know this was not true as I said, we knew exactly where we had left it. I will NEVER stay in a Wyndham hotel again.

Customer service is great, rooms clean with nice furniture, inside swimming pool is nice, breakfast is real decent. Staff is nice and aware. Good amount of security cameras around. I'd give five stars if they had a washer and dryer room for guests to use.

A decent little motel or refrigerator barely worked and our air conditioner barely worked but as for this day in the sleep I guess that was okay really sucks when you're out on the water all day and 95 100° heat and then you come back to the hotel room to check in and the air conditioner is half shot

I was a little bit skeptical of booking since the reviews were mixed. Upon checking in, I was greeted and the receptionist was friendly.

The check in process was smooth and fast. My room was perfect. I was only there for one night so I didn’t need much. The AC may need to be fixed since I could barely hear or feel the air coming in. But I didn’t get hot enough for it to become an issue.

Breakfast was simple. There’s waffles, fruit, bread, muffins and cereal. It’s located far enough from the interstate so it’s quiet.

Great location close to I-70 & Buck Creek State Park. Clean rooms & friendly staff, nice, but small, pool and clean pool area. Good continental breakfast options; muffins, make your own waffles, Jimmy Dean breakfast croissants, fruit, yogurt, juice and really good coffee. My only complaint is they don't provide hand/body lotion, and I had forgotten mine. Would definitely stay here again.

I normally check out reviews for hotels prior to staying but did not on this one because we had come to trust baymont Wyndham hotels. This one was not such a good stay. Pool closed at 9 pm and was not open in the morning so my son could not swim. Exercise room was closed. Breakfast was really bad. Prepared sandwiches to heat up which had a bad flavor, waffles with old waffle mix, mediocre coffee. Had to switch out the tv remote because it didn’t work. Minimal weight cover on bed. Small hotel, small spaces, minimal amenities. We normally choose Wyndham for the good hot breakfast with eggs and sausages. Also expected a hot tub in the pool area but it was closed anyway. Oh well.

This may not be the most modern of hotels but it is just fine for us. It is clean and quiet and away from the noise if the freeway. The breakfast is simple but adequate. The service is really good and we will stay here again

This hotel needs updated. Best part was the lobby. Guests don’t stay in the lobby. Another reason I’m rating so low is because I was running late, I had picked up a pair of my jeans and several dollars in quarters had fallen out of my pocket. I was going to pick them up when I got back. But no need… housekeeping has done it for me, AND KEPT IT! That’s theft in my opinion. Never again will I ever stay at this hotel. Very disappointing
