BD's Mongolian Grill, Toledo OH

My family and I came in Friday afternoon and had cheyene as our server. There was a slight rush but she was on top of it! Great time as always, and will be back!

Stopped here to eat on 1-7-23. Asked what the wait time was and was told they could get us a seat immediately. We took our seat and was told someone would wait on us shortly. Me and my girlfriend sat down for 25 minutes as more people were sat around us and were getting their drinks. No one said a word to us, no one offered to take our drink order or give is any bowls. Got up and left, they weren't that busy for a Saturday night nor am I a small guy to miss in the middle of your dining area. There's no excuse for that kind of customer service and I likely won't be returning.

Setup of the bars was a bit weird. Overall it was good. I'd recommend unlimited bowls for $25 and get smaller servings to try different flavors. Took a while to get the food cooked.

Mongo BBQ is good.
Fajita sauce was bad.
Sweet chili garlic was ok.
Japanese BBQ was meh.

Steak is good.
Chicken is meh.
Bacon was just fat.
Potatoes weren't cooked enough.

First time here was an awesome experience. Jordan our server was awesome and gave me free dessert for my birthday without even saying anything. Sweet of her. Selection of food was great! We will be back!

Worst food I have ever had and a total waste of $250. I don’t even know where to start from by describing how horrible the food was: burnt, bitter, nasty…. Even simple boiled rice was nasty. What a huge regret. Service was great (the only thing that is making me leave a one star). Never ever going there

They have changed their bowls that they serve in and they great. Also they put the rice for you, again a great change.

The waiter was great. The time it took to cook the food was terribly long! We spent 2.5 hrs just for two bowls. Only two cooks who pry did not truly knew what they were doing, food was burnt once and almost raw second time. Prices absolutely through the roof. $180.00 for six and we only drank water, no desserts. Will not be going back!

Had a hankering for stir-fry and it was quick & easy to run up there for lunch and place my order.

We went for lunch on a Saturday and the restaurant was relatively empty. The restaurant floor was dirty and the service was terrible. The food was okay, but we didn't receive any guidance from our server which made the whole experience confusing. I'll probably give this place another try but definitely not this location.

Our waitress said that BD's has updated their menu and other things. They have appetizers now, but mine came almost burnt they were pretty crispy. We had to ask for them to bring out containers of food for almost every item we wanted in our bowls. They also got rid of the good teriyaki sauce. As well as if you want corn, you have to get corn mixed with black beans. There's just some things that shouldn't change, or offer various options so people aren't forced to get something they don't want or like very much. Also, rice comes on your plate under your food from the grill instead of getting it in the side. The only reason there's two stars is because our waitress did a good job, was nice, and checked on us a lot.

My first time here. Our party’s dietary requirements were easily met. Chandler was our server and he was awesome. Super friendly and he gave me the rundown. He took great care of our party of 6 and was awesome on refills. The cooks and other staff were also friendly. Great experience! Will be back.

This place! Love it! I wanted hibachi on a Monday night, but my partner and I didn’t want to sit down anywhere. And then I remembered BD’S Mongolian Grill is a great thing! We called ahead to make sure it was possible to take the food to go and they said it was possible. We walked in and were immediately greeted. We let the worker know we were to go and she had us sit in the quiet bar area that’s separated from the rest of the restaurant, which is nice. A few minutes later, we were greeted by a nice and friendly worker. He explained to us the steps, gave us bowls, and wrote down on little slips that we’re take out, we want white rice, and allergies. And then the fun part. Picking everything you want in this bowl buffet style. I love that you’re not charged extra for mixing meats, doubling up on meat, or wanting more than one egg. After piling everything in the bowl, we noticed there were seasonings! Yes to Cajun! The cook was very friendly and gave us extra rice when we asked for it. It was my partner’s first time and he was in awe about how everything was- from the food to the experience. He insisted on coming back sooner than later.

Food was amazing as always! Tonight there were about four people running the floor, including the hostess. I have to say, they did an amazing job! They worked hard and it shows!

Food wasn't as good and the way it was served was disappointing, took too long for the last bowl for our party of 4

Gabrielle is so sweet and funny! She was extremely helpful our whole meal. We had a little communication snag with the grillers and Covid protocol resulting in a bowl being taken to another table. Our server, Gabrielle and the manager Willy were phenomenal at getting it quickly resolved and making sure we felt taken care of. I can’t speak highly enough of both of them and swiftly they resolved our missing meal.

Ordered to go and it was hot and ready. Got it home and the food was absolutely terrible. Couldn't tell the difference between the mushrooms and the steak. Order was wrong, missing rice. Called, spoke to someone said she would have the manager call. He agreed to refund the bill however, promised to personally cook the order. Twenty five calls later, he is either out of the office or gone for a week. Have been calling since April. Lesson learned, have not been back nor will I return. Disappointing because the first time we ordered door dash, it was excellent. How

Love the grilling of fresh cooked food! You pick out your flavors of sauces you lik but the only thing is you need a guide to teach you the flavors that go together, other than that, wow they’re delicious! I would love to go back for the change of taste!

We arrived at 330 on Saturday.we were promptly sat. We watched three tables come in after us, get greeted right away as we still waited for someone to come over. When our server did finally show up he said he would be right back. The food bar had a lot of empty containers, they took down the sauce and spice recipes so we had no idea what would taste well together. Only half the items on the bar were even labeled to tell us what they were. We sat back down and waited for our food and noticed trash all over the floor. The high chairs were dirty with dried on food. My teenage daughter went to the restroom and there were no paper towels. We have truly enjoyed every other visit we have been there, and considered it a real treat to go. But this visit was so bad we definitely will not return.

They used to be better. It may have just been a bad experience at this particular location.
