5Awesome place to stop and rest on the bike trail! The 911 monument is right by it, and there's bathrooms and tables. The one downside is that the vending machines eat your money often, and don't give it back.
I parked there one night thinking it was a rest area since that's what it said on Google but after maybe 3 hours had two nice officers knock on my window and inform me it actually was not a rest area and they don't understand why no one has corrected it and politely asked me to carry on that they apologize but I couldn't continue to stay there and needed to leave
Very nice little area. It’s just off the expressway and set back a little so can be hard to spot. Had to turn around cause we passed it. Restrooms are very clean. It’s in a nice area connected to a walking/ biking path.
This was a random stop on our trip. We were looking for a restroom and I am so glad we stopped! They have a nice 9/11 memorial there and benches for reflection.
Covered shelter with two picnic tables, vending machines, multiple benches, water fountain, bike stands, pole with bike tools on wires, restrooms, and a monument to 9/11. Very close to a Kroger. Under 50 parking spaces. Put here for people using the bike trail.
