Best coffee shop in Kent. This isn’t a knock against the other ones in town, it’s just that bent tree has the best coffee and their beans taste the best. I’d recommend it to anyone in town

This place! Of course the coffee is outstanding. But the staff are the icing on the cake. I was lucky to be working nearby for an extended period and got hooked on their Papua New Guinea espresso and their Chemex pour overs (anything from Ethiopia please!). I just made my first cup with the Ethiopia Sidama beans I bought in my aeropress and dang if it isn't the best cup of coffee I've made in a long time. Miss you guys and gals already!

I have loved Bent Tree since the early days back in 2011! I have watched it grow and it has been fun to see! Truly our favorite spot in Kent. We love sitting outside with our drinks in hand, smelling the yummy beans roasting. You don't get this experience at most coffee shops! If you're visiting Kent, do not leave without stopping here first!

This place is a staple every time we visit the Akron area. We frequently get the coffee shipped to us out of state and drink it nearly every morning. Cute merchandise, friendly staff, and (of course) an amazing variety of roasts.

Totally unique coffee experience for me. Definitely recommend the brown sugar oak latte! You can smell the oak chips roasting while there.

Bent Tree is always the best. They set the bar very high for other roasters and shops in the area. Likely the best in NE Ohio. A true blessing to the area!

They need to stop selling roasts labelled as dark. They're obviously medium roast at best. Quit playing and make a real dark roast.

Stopped by to grab a coffee on the way through Kent. Wanted a good, local shop and Bent Tree did not disappoint! Lots of cool merch for sale also. Great job!

Stopped in today for something quick to-go. Not being from Kent I hadn't heard of this place before but Bent Tree did not disappoint! I got an iced oat milk vanilla latte & it was delicious. Will definitely be returning!

Idk why there are 5 stars we went to scribbles first and the coffee sucked so we threw away those cups and walked here. It was cute and staff was friendly but coffee was even worse. Ordered a mocha, it just tasted like espresso with milk. No foam no nothing, barely tasted chocolate might not of even been present.

Excellent coffee! This place has been my go to for everything coffee for years. The coffee bean blends are outstanding, rich flavors, and the customer service is fantastic. I always recommend Bent Tree!

Staff is very friendly, pastries are delicious, and so are the drinks! If you’re in the area, stop by! They offer curbside pick up for Covid safety!
