15I ordered a smart tv from this location and the first time I picked it up it had a crack in the screen and a huge dent on the back of the tv. I was told I had to return it in person, so I did and got a replacement just to realize it had a dent in the screen AGAIN. I was on the phone with tech support for hours for them to end up telling me I had to bring the tv back AGAIN to the store, even though I live alone on the third floor of an apartment and had already gotten rid of the box (didn’t see the screen dent until after it was gone). There’s no way I could bring the tv back myself without a box to protect it, within the time frame they gave me. Now I have a dented tv screen and am out 400$. Safe to say I won’t be buying any more products from Best Buy.
The 1st time I bought a TV from Best Buy, brand new, the screen was cracked and I had to return it. Years later, I come back to Best Buy despite that experience and bought a 65in Samsung Q70t from Best Buy in Avon. This was just a couple months ago. Now I'm noticing the screen has bright spots all over it. It's horribly noticeable during dark scenes. If it's not a full screen program or movie, it drives me crazy because of how bad it is. Looks like I have flashlights shining from behind the screen. I've never had this happen with any TV before. After doing an online search, it appears I'm far from being the only one. I paid about $1,000 for this TV. The workers at Best Buy didn't even put it in a box. They loosely wrapped it in bubble wrap with huge parts of the screen simply exposed. They has quite a lot of trouble lifting it and putting it in my SUV with it wrapped up like that. They claimed the TV was brand new but was only missing the remote. Turned out, the legs didn't even fit the TV & they never said it wouldn't at least be packaged up.
When you spend $1,000.00, you'd expect better than this. I started the process with 1 sales rep, I told them everything I was looking for, they did not seem to know much of anything about their TVs, then they disappeared for more than 20min so I asked another rep for help. They sold me this TV and said I'd get 10% off. While I was being rung out, the original sales rep showed up, seemed disappointed he didn't get the sale and said "So, did she give you the 20% off? ". I said "No. What are you talking about? ". Then she gave him a dirty look and said, "no, it's 10". He said "Ok. " and walked away. So let's just say this was a terrible experience from started to finish. I feel like I got ripped off and now I'm stuck with this defective TV that I can't stand looking at and I'm down $1,000.
My biggest, most expensive TV purchase ended up being worse than any cheap TV I've ever bought from other retailers.
They were very helpful trying to find a stereo wiring harness for a 1990 Festiva I am working on. They also were able to tell me the stock sized speakers so I could replace them also.
This is a very clean store! A lot of polite workers! The manager that helped me out was absolutely a sweetheart! I would definitely suggest shopping there. Great people, great store and great service.
Absolute catastrophe, buy the Xbox series S online for in store pickup and it gets cancelled. Best Buy is an embarrassment and needs to fix it's website. Because I know this isn't just causing problems for me.
Great customer service. Needed to exchange the TV we bought and they removed it from the trunk, brought the other to the service desk, and loaded in the car for my wife. They were very pleasant and ready to help.
I ordered on line got a text when my item was ready went to the store and answered the question in a text that I was at the store and didn't even have to go in my item was ready very guick and very friendly service
Best buy was big and huge with lots of electronics. Good staff and great customers.
They need to keep the place tidy
This should be zero stars. The associates were standing around playing on their phones and not taking care of customers. But they lost a customer. NOT a great store and customer service Zero Stars for this stores most definitely. Couch your employees on customer etiquette and not to use their phones. Also because they are in Avon, OH does NOT mean they are better than anyone else. PERIOD!
The people were nice. I found some much needed stuff for my gaming system. My parents found a much needed computer as well as travel case for it. The young man helping them was very knowledgeable and helpful.
Employees are weirdly inept for working at an electronics store.
I've been a regular at this store for years and I will not be returning. At least microcenter knows where their products are.
In my experience, out of the 5 visits I've had to this store, three times I get products and go to the register and they tell me "oh no, the price is wrong on the shelf" and they charge me a different price. I will not be going to this store again. I don't have to personally know the prices of all electronics in the world to shop there. Customers rely on the posted information so if you can't keep it accurate, you won't get my business.
We went there to buy a new tv. The reason I gave best buy 5 starts was mostly because of the salesperson that helped us. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. We got a competitive price on our new tv, but we ended up buying it there because the salesperson was just so fantastic!
Scheduling for services is terrible and not organized at all. I would not recommend scheduling anything online, maybe the in store experience is better. I have wasted 4hrs in travel and my time because of the way the service scheduling is set-up, without even having the service performed yet! They have alot of work to do in order to make the process more seamless.
