Big Eye Japanese Cuisine & Sushi Bar, Fairlawn OH

Never knew this restaurant was in this plaza. Not much to look at on the outside but very nice inside. We went early for lunch. They filled up fast. Would go back if I was in the area.

I met a friend for lunch and the food was great! We had Bento boxes. We were stuffed. The service was great. Loved their ginger dressing on the salad and the veggie tempora. Great choice for lunch.

Always love coming here, great food and service! We love the Sushi and the curry is absolutely amazing!

Deep fried roll came out so hot my fiance burned her mouth. Waitress said she usually tells people it’s hot but said they don’t listen anyways. Right on thanks.

They have the best Crab Rangoon. We also had the new Butterfly Roll with mango on it and it was absolutely delicious. We also had a roll with coconut shrimp. Fantastic! Highly recommended!

This was my family's first trip to Big Eye We got a variety of food including some regular sushi rolls, fancier rolls, fried rice, and peanut chicken. Everything was incredibly good, I tried a bite of everything just to be sure:). The best sushi I have had in the area. Additionally, the service was great. The server was kind, helpful, always smiling, and around enough to make sure all our needs were met without being intrusive at all. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was peaceful as well. A really great experience. We are already planning to return.

One of my favorite restaurants! I love sushi! The sushi here is always fresh and a good quantity for your money. I have ventured out and tried other food items and they are just as delicious! I have now tried almost every item on the menu and have never been disappointed! The staff are always friendly & welcoming & know me by name. I will continue to give them my business.

Service is always outstanding. Nice atmosphere. Good wine. Not sure if they changed the chef but sushi was not as delicious as usual.

I came here from California to visit family, and this has by far been the best sushi I have ever had. My waitress was super nice and my family and I enjoyed all the food, both the entrees and the sushi. I will make sure to come back next time I visit. I definitely recommend this place.

Very good Sushi. Excellent crab salad. Tuna Tartare is not so good, bland need more flavors to it. Overall, place is excellent for lunch/dinner. Love this place.

Close to our new place, staff so nice, kids friendly.fresh sashimi and sushi just seaweed on sushi is not quite fresh they're not crispy.

But lovely place to take family out for dinner.

Facilities is clean and separate door din-in and to go order I like it.

Definitely go back again!

Service was very good, I ate at the sushi bar and the cooks and wait staff talked to me and answered questions about the food and saki. Sushi was made fresh right in front of me.

Food is so good! I was impressed and I remember I was saying wow while eating it! I had a couple sushi rolls. California and Alaska yummy and chicken fried rice. I went back a couple days later got the fried crab and cheese appetizer which is always good everywhere. These are small but delicious. Loved the food… a+

Stopped here on a whim. Absolutely delicious sushi—-and I’ve had really good sushi. I asked for crispy salmon skin, which was not on the menu, and they made it! It was incredible! My husband got the pad Thai and fried rice both super tasty! Clean restaurant, and really great service. We will be back very soon

Have been a loyal customer for over 10 years and no matter what other place I try this one is still my number one pick. The Yellowtail is delicious and all the fish always tastes so fresh. I highly recommend to any sushi lover I come in contact with!

We've ordered takeout for the work crew here a few times now. Everything has been great every time. Plenty of options for everyone (we have a couple vegans and they have no issues ordering). Take out has always been on time, orders correct, and helpful staff. I can't speak for the dining in experience yet, but definitely recommend for take out!
