Big Lots, Brunswick OH

Went in there last Saturday to buy a fold out camping chair. After I finish my purchase, I go to use the bathroom & it’s locked with coolers everywhere. Tried for about 5 mins to find a staff member to unlock it, ended up not finding anyone & left. Later returned the chair since I heard about the “Laurel Square Car Show” complaints were coming from this location, which is apparently why they are locked on Saturday. Show been going on for how many years, business gets people coming in (example myself) on Saturdays, but we’re going to try to stop it even though the city of Brunswick doesn’t mind it there.

High prices and mostly expired food items. But, if you go on a Saturday evening there's a really nice car show in the parking lot that's worth your time.

Don’t waste your time or money in this store. They are not family friendly, they complain about the foot traffic on Saturday from the car cruise-in that’s happened there for more than 30 years, since the days of Carneys. They’re making any and all attempts to prevent this family friendly gathering from happening. Do not support this establishment until they decide to support the community.

I always find some gold at Big Lots. From rugs to bug spray or furniture to snacks ect…. It’s not a store I make a list and go to it’s just one I pop in on when I don’t have anything specific. I always leave happy and the last time I was there I got a metal garden dog, some chocolate wafers and a bubble maker …random.

Prices are going up and the girl who waited on us was trying to tell us the furniture that was on hold for us was on hold by someone else just not to deal with us

This is my go to store for items I can't find anywhere else. Everyone here is very nice and helpful.

Haven't been there in ages. Found what I was looking for and a few other things. Cashier was friendly and informative re their rewards program. Plan to return from time to time to see what I can find for myself.

Great as always. I found a certain kind of bistro set. I went everywhere and looked online. Search hi and Schaffer - Little One. Couldn't find the right one. Stopped in for a sale and there was my table and 2 chairs. I just Love it. Plus it was on sale. I Love big lots. Stop in and see what you can find.

I love big lots they even have furniture that is good priced and decent quality

Not what it used to be! Not the best quality on many items. Prices higher than they should be.

Reasonable prices for most items. Worth getting their free card to gain perks, saved $5 for signing up. Get things when you see them, like Marcs many closeouts and then gone. Worth popping in and checking them out. Remodel made it very spacious.

We bought a Lane sectional at this location recently. Lawrence in the furniture department was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He answered every question we had and once we decided to purchase, got us rang up and loaded very quickly. I didn't expect such a high level of service at Big Lots.

I sat in line behind one person who had a cart full of stuff one cashier and the cashier would scan two things talk for five minutes scan two things talk for five minutes as I have a crying baby in my arms and I'm getting two things completely unprofessional and a waste of time

Very good store very friendly workers would definitely go back I really love their outside furniture

Goodies. The furniture is very nice. The store is clean and had good buys for kitchen and bath items.

The employee Jacob in the furniture section was EXTREMELY helpful. Big shout out to him for making things easy

Usually find what I'm looking for (and sometimes things I'm not looking for). The store is clean, bright and well organized.

Basic Big lots. They have a wife variety of items and options. The employees are and have always been very kind and helpful. Their prices are a bit higher than I would imagine or would think a big lots should really be at considering the kind of store they are. But they do offer a lot of different things that other places dont. Have shopped here before and will shop here again.

Big lots might not have everything you need but I know they have what I want when I go shopping
