Big Mamma’s Burritos, Columbus OH

Literally my favorite burritos place in Columbus.i’ve had a ton of them and the food and service is simply unmatched here. Thank you Kaylee!

The first time I ate here a couple of years ago I wasn’t super impressed. However, I tried it again last week, and I’ve ordered twice since then! The consistency has been on point, and each time I’ve ordered it’s been after 11: 00pm. The price is on point. Thank you for the great late night food!

I haven’t purchased food from Big Momma’s Burrito’s in many years. Took the pleasure of stopping by tonight, and boy am I glad I did. Kaylee really knows what the people of Columbus crave for food, and offers said food at a price point no one could second guess. Not to mention, the food is top notch & hits every taste bud. Thank you for being a main-stay local business, I will surely be back! Cheers!

This guy couldn’t be anymore slower. The fact that I am the only one in here and it’s taking him over 10 min to make one burrito is insane. He’s too busy listening to the movie that is playing on his iPhone. This order should’ve been picked up for the customer and dropped already. The customers home was 2 min away!

Save your money and go to chipotle for a better burrito. I ordered a regular size build your own and it was tiny for $9.50 + $1.50 for queso.customer service was pretty bad, and toppings are limited to 3- like the dude wouldn’t let me add more than that.

I got corn, tots, and beans, and asked for queso and salsa verde on the side. Burrito was missing tots, queso was in the inside and no salsa verde was given.

My favorite place to catch lunch at! My partner and I come here regularly because their burritos are to die for! Some combinations confused me at first but every time I tried one it was always amazing- my favorite was the Q Mama. The cooks there really know what they're doing! The atmosphere here is really relaxed and comfortable, and I really like the owner here. They're a very no-nonsense but incredibly nice! I encourage anyone that hasn't been here before to give it a try!

I gave 5 for service and atmosphere because I ordered delivery and there didn't seem to be a hold up and I'm not sure of the atmosphere so benefit of the doubt.

Regarding the food, for the price it was not small, but smaller than Chipotle or Moe's who charge less for the same.

Regarding the taste, it seemed to have plenty of chicken but I didn't taste it at all. It was kinda like baby food with the sweetness of the corn and acid of the pico. It kinda tasted boiled. I'm not sure if this is an old staple restaurant but there would be absolutely no reason to order from here again.

And reading the past reviews, it seems the owner doesn't care about the food taste/quality/value. These are rough times especially for small businesses, so some season or char on the chicken given a smaller size burrito would at least have shown more care for their product. It is what it is I guess

I ordered late night from door dash and it came out of your store. We had 3 burritos and spent $50 and the rice was so hard in everyone that we couldn't even enjoy the burritos we made grilled cheese

I have seen this place around for years and decided to try it out. I’m working late and this is my dinner. I’m diabetic and starving at this point!
I ordered a regular Philly with the description of melted provolone cheese tots sautéed onions some kind of sauce lettuce and tomato. Let’s start with the steak unfortunately this was not steak at all and I have tried many different nationalities of food and despite the flavor I could still tell it was steak! This stuff was unidentifiable compared to anything that I had ever tasted. There was no trace of cheese whatsoever (that would have been a big help) I could not taste nor see the sauce at all. So I called the store to state my concern and was told someone would get back with me. Meanwhile I have a massive stomach ache and no dinner and out of $10 with almost a full mystery burrito. I will never ever eat here again and would never recommend this food to anyone else not even my dog or worst enemy I’m beyond devastated or anything remotely close to this word. Just gross! I wish you could rate -0
A one star rating does nothing for how disrespected I feel right now….

Update on refund: I did receive a refund as well as a call back. I I’m changing my 1 star rating to 2 stars only because I was promised a call back and a refund and was granted both. The young lady who helped me was polite and professional the entire time

The food is bland. Any type of seasoning that they have is store bought. The guy working there does not have a good attitude. I will not eat there again. Since they were located in Grandview I thought the food would be better.

I usually doordash peoples food from here.but I decided to finally try it myself.and it was AMAZING! Just off of the first bite. And I usually don't eat burritos, so this was dope to have a good experience from them. And can I talk about the time it took to make it.under 5 minutes to get my order, I was truly shocked. I would most certainly have them again!

Yummy basic burrito food that is reasonably priced and open late! Great cheap late night snack/meal

i love their queso so i like to get a bag of chips w queso.they also have a walking taco which i adore and often get since it’s such a novelty you can’t really get anywhere else other than high school football games.

Very rude staff been coming to big mama's for years and I went in 2 weeks ago to get my usual order asked for double meat and a regular size I paid almost 30$ for2 of the same burrito and received a baby with hardly any meat and 80% rice when I brought the food back and asked for a refund I was screamed at by the staff and told i was dumb and other slurs they took my food and never gave me my money back either if I could give 0 stars I would you should be ashamed big mama's have tried to contact the owner but Oh well wasn't there money

Food was okay. Queso seemed like it had been sitting for a while. Felt a little disappointed by the portion size compared to what I paid

Poor customer service and got my order wrong. The employee working was clearly in a bad mood, calling me out for not placing my order with my friend’s (said in a judgemental way, not in a kidding way) (I had not decided what I wanted yet). I told him I didn’t have to order then and he said that made “no sense”. Actually, the attitude made no sense. Got my food which included enough salsa for literally 3 chips and my order did not come with the promised chipotle ranch. Overall very disappointing and will not be returning.
