Biggby Coffee, Dayton OH

Biggby is usually pretty consistent quality-wise. But not this one. The sandwich tasted like a broiled burger more than a breakfast sandwich. It was very strange. The drinks are VERY sweet. That is easy to work with, though, just add an extra shot of espresso. The 3 stars is only for food and drink quality, though. The staff running the drive thru are kind and attentive.

2021-I am always disappointed every time I end up here. I've been 4 times. They are over priced and give you 6 inches of foam in 24 oz cup of cappuccino for 6.00, and they do not have but 1 or 2 sugar free syrups
Update 2024-i have been here several times, still pricey, but I do enjoy the butter bear occasionally and my friends prefer the decaf expresso here, the associates are always very nice.

We drive 30mins to get here just for coffee 1-2 times a week. That should tell you something. Download the app for a huge selection of secret menu coffee creations.

I tend to order the same one or two things every time I visit, but last week I hit the drive-thru and ordered something different. The Golden Honey Latte, with cinnamon, turmeric and honey, was delicious! And the drive-thru moved at an acceptable pace, considering that it takes a few minutes to make each specialty drink.

However…. I don’t know what changed in the drive thru but a 15-20 minute wait seems to be the norm.

I’ve been going to the nearby Starbucks instead the last couple of weeks

I REALLY hope they get this figured out there’s no way they’re not losing other customers due to the wait time

I love this place. They had a waffle sandwich they got rid of that I loved which is the only reason I’m not giving 5/5

First time in here, stood at the middle counter for 10 min before another customer came in and ordered at the end of the bar. No sign to tell where to order. Staff didn't greet or say anything when I walked in and was standing there. Ordered and waited 40 min for coffee and a bagel. Didn't even get the bagel just left.
Wasted my time before work and almost late waiting thinking an hours was surely enough time for coffee and a bagel. Not doing that here again

This is one of my favorite coffee chain in Dayton. There coffee options are the best I have seen especially for the price. Unfortunately I have not tried there food so I cannot attest to the quality. If you like Dunkin, you will love this place. I try to go as often as possible.

I normally would give this place a 5 star, but today no! I got a Teddy bear but switched the caramel to butterscotch had it frozen, No whip cream, and when they handed it to me. I tasted it. And I told the girl at the window that it didn't taste like it. Had any butterscotch in it, and it tastes bitter. Like the expresso shots are very bitter. She just looked at me and shrugged her shoulders. So I drove away and decided to write this to let them know. That's very expensive to get a drink there. And if somebody is not happy, they should not shrug their shoulders. They should say what can I do for you? Would you like me to remake that for you? But they did not do that. And the line was long so I left. One thing about this chain is they're not consistent in the way they make their drinks. I'm not sure what was wrong today But they need to work on customer service and consistency. It is a busy store and they are very overwhelmed and usually do not have a very large staff so I do understand that. But I wish that I could have had my drink remade

I think it's ridiculous to turn a customer down for food 30 minutes before you close because you closed your bagel machine down. I drove 25 minutes to get here expecting to have lunch and was turned away. Nice job.

The turkey and havartti everything bagel is so good that when you bite into your coworkers can taste it! Great customer service every time.

The bariatas are always helpful and answer any questions we have. Their coffee is stronger than say starbucks but I enjoy that taste so it's always a win win when we swing by

Always a wait. And if I can be frank. Coffee is simply awful. I know it's the syrup they use for flavoring. It is just NOT GOOD. I've given this place so many chances. Yall gotta change that man it's not good at all. I seen where the owner said the spotted owl is sweet because of the multiple glavors. No baby its not just the multiple flavors. I should be able to add up to 3 without it feel like im guzzling sugar. But i only ever get white chocolate and coconut has never ever been different, and ive only ever was able to complete one of them. Ive been here at least 7 times. Change your syrup straight up idk how yall have only 1 other review about it. Its way overpowering.
I've tried changing it to just white chocolate and nope still really sweet unless im doubling down on exspresso. And aside from the sweetness, IT IS NOT GOOD. It is a very distinct difference in the syrups ive had and idk what you guys have but it sucks. They are extremely sweet and it taste like I'm drinking pure syrup. Disgusting

I love the staff, they are so nice. I go there seven days a week, I really like there coffee

Starbucks who? The honey cinnamon vanilla ice latte is delicious! First time I ever tried to Biggby coffee but definitely a new favorite

Even though London Fog is not on their menu, they knew how and made us some. They were very good.

I visited this place in January, I know it's been a while but want to say that I felt unwelcomed.

Slightly after 1pm, the inside was not crowded but there was some distraction going on, someone brought her pet. So, some of the employees were interacting with the dog. Okay, I get that.

However, the other staffs were still at the register.none of them was greeting or asking me though. Then only one person helped me order my food.
Later, I didn't even hear my order was ready. It was very obvious that I was the only person eating inside. When I took the order, I felt I was treated as invisible.
The only reason I'm giving stars is that the food tastes good, I can't complain about it.
Another thing I didn't like was those staffs were gossiping about some of their drive-thru customers. That's why after finish eating mine, I left without saying anything.

It was my very first time visiting this place, but I'm not coming back.
