Blendon Woods Metro Park reviews
19This park is just amazing it has everything you could want great built out trails creeks nature just surrounds you in this park there a deer frogs a birds everywhere in the fall the nature is elevated. It is definitely the best metro park and has continued to grow the natural play area is the greatest playground for kids I have ever seen it includes a zip-line and tree swings it is really a child’s dream best park in Columbus
Great park that has been around for decades. Picnic areas are reservable. The nature center is super fun and has a great bird watching area. Go to the natural play area. No matter what age you are, you will love it. They have a zipline!
Beautiful place. Met some cool people who were friendly and enjoying the walk. Bring your kids to get them in tune with mother nature.
Very nice place to park and hike. The ponds are really cool to see as well. Since it is a nature preserve, dogs are not allowed on most of the trails. The dog friendly trail isnt the best.
One of my favorite local parks. Heavily wooded and cool walk in the summertime. Very scenic walks in the autumn.
My son and his wife were married there last week and it was a beautiful setting. The park rangers provided wood and even started the fire for us for the rehearsal the day before the wedding.
Best park ever. Love rangers who keep it clean and stay on people's cases and keep the public safe
Great place to walk and experience fall. There is plenty for the kids to do with play areas, zip line, ropes to swing on, and a teeter totter made from a log. Beautiful time to be there.
LOVE this park with its natural beauty - mostly wooded land with a little stream. I only wish I could bring my dog on the winding, wooded trails, rather than be restricted to a plain field area. This is the only reason I'm giving 4
stars. Other than that, it's a fantastic park for a relaxing walk.
Beautiful Metro park. Great trails and creeks. We find so much wildlife while exploring. Anything from turkey, to various birds, salamanders, frogs, toads, fish, crawdads, etc. The outdoor play area and zipline are great. The nature center has nice reptile displays and photos of native birds and taxidermy. Ranger Brett and all the others are great.
Very nice park with a dog walking path that is really nice in the fall. Nice place to take a pup or go with the family.
What a beautiful park this time of the year! The trees are breath taking, and fun seeing the turkeys running through the woods!
Just found out they have a “fall driving” road where u will see beautiful trees on left n right.
The Natural Play area is worth it. My 3 & 6 yr old loved it. They have a swing Zipline, wood teeter totter, some climbing nets, balance beam. I like that involves walking around in the woods. Just don't go on a muddy day like I did.
PERFECT! Perfect place to walk/jog/run! Such a beautiful place everytime i go i find something new! A new animal, a new insect! Such a wonderful place to destress and get your vibes or energy back up! I spend hours here!
First time to this beautiful Columbus Metro park with my Father-in-Law. This is a wonderful park with mostly deep woods trails making it feel primeval since much of it appears to be a climax forest. Lots of well groomed trails and rentable picnic event areas. Really nice nature center with lots of planned activities. This park is a gem and should be on your list to explore.
Family reunion was held here. Its clean and good for events. Tables and shelter provided along with a swing set and restrooms all private. Nice environment and family outing friendly.
This park has some great trails, shed for you to have great parties (usually its FCFS basis), many parking spots, children play area. Definitely a great place yo hangout
