Blue Point Grille, Cleveland OH

One of THE best meals you will have in Cleveland. Not just a seafood and steak place. This chicken was one of the better plates of chicken I have ever had. Everything was cooked to perfection. Our server was overwhelmingly friendly. The creme brulee was amazing. Took our time and made the night of the experience. The valet staff was also super friendly and fast! Treat yourself, it's a must go.

Was a bit more expensive than I remember. Service was excellent and food also. Was a little disappointed 20% service charge was automatically included in the bill, especially when it was only 2 diners. Would have given more but taken aback with the up front charge. I understand completely with 6+ diners but with 2 in was almost insulting.

One of the best dinners. You cannot go wrong by having any dinner for a special occasion here. Atmosphere, service and food, this place has it all. If you haven’t been here, you need to go. Both fish and steak entrees are absolutely delicious. Desserts are fantastic.

If you want a night on the town, this is the place to go! The food is simply amazing, lots of seafood choices. The drinks are expertly made. And the desserts are heavenly. The staff are incredible, friendly, helpful and make great suggestions when you're stuck on a decision. The atmosphere is upscale without being over the top. I'm definitely going back!

The staff was fine, the food was a step down from Longhorn steakhouse. For the price the steaks should at least be dry aged, or perhaps seasoned at least. Your first clue this restaurant is different is that you are forced to tip 20 percent on everything, even drinks. While tipping is never an issue for me and I always tip well, a fine restaurant does kot need to have a policy that forces gratuity. It felt like there were 20 year old novices cooking the meals. Nothing was seasoned or cooked particularly well. Truly nothing special here at all especially for dropping north of 600 on two people. Needsa a real chef and better quality fare.

Great location down town, very friendly staff, the kitchen was pushing the food out as fast as we could order it, bar had good drinks! Our server was very professional and prompt with all our requests. Lobster bisque must be best in country! They do add 20% tip automatically to the bill but that’s very fair service charge for this establishment and they did advertise this stipulation on the menu and also circled it big on the bill and personally told us tip was included! Great place!

Loved it! Filled to the brim! Kale was a little too salty though. Peache pistachio short cake is wonderful. Wish I had ice cream though. It was my cousin birthday dinner. Didn't pay for nothing.

Cozy, old flair feel, attentive and professional barkeepers and staff. Had the Oyster sampler which has varieties from both coasts. Fresh and delicious! Hard to choose a main from the variety of selections but decided on the Nags Head grouper with lobster mashed potatoes, braised spinach and vermouth cream sauce. It was outstanding! The sauce was flavorful and delicate, pairing nicely with the pan seared grouper that was done to perfection. A little crunchy crust on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. The braised spinach was a nice accompaniment. This is my second trip to this establishment and I have added it to my list of favorite eateries in Cleveland.

Oysters, grouper, red snapper, OH MY! So much delicious seafood, my mother and I couldn't decide what to get. The sides are almost as good as the fish, and they do serve top notch "land" items, like steaks, as well. I've never had anything less than amazing from this place. Usually I sit in the bar for a more casual vibe, but the dining area is great for a more formal dining experience. The lavender martini, "Paradise Found, " kills it every time! Yum.

Superb. The main course was awesome. I had the blackened swordfish. But, the appetizers were really good. I'm an appetizer person. The bread and butter were perfect. The lobster bisque was the best I've ever had.

Service is horrible! It took an hour and half to get my food, and drinks were very weak! I will never come to this restaurant again! You’re better off going to pier W!

Different than I remembered dull atmosphere, unfriendly staff and overpriced. Would not return. Was a great restaurant before the plandemic

So glad we had the opportunity to stop by. What an amazing experience! Excellent service, knowledgeable staff and very welcoming. It was a bit difficult choosing (everything looked delicious) and while servers were bring out other tables order, we were questioning if we should order something else or at least a plate to go.
If you're in Cleveland, Blue Point is a must at the top of your list. Can't wait to go back.

Celebrating our parents' 70TH wedding anniversary, we all had a wonderful time. The wait staff was AWESOME, filling your water glasses before you knew you were low! They even brought out several different desserts on the house! Many, many thanks to Jason, et al.

Halle is such a great bartender! Her custom drinks and personality, combined with the great food definitely help make this a must visit spot in downtown Cleveland

Excellent food, all around. Even the kids menu had lovely, filling options! The dessert was excellent (creme brulee and pistachio peach cake). Service was excellent as well.
