Blue Streak, Sandusky OH

Be prepared for AIRTIME! This ride has a place in cedar point history as it opened in 1964. Don't let its age fool you it still putts out good rides. The airtime is killer.

An oldie but a goodie.
If you're looking for intense thrills, this ain't it but if big coasters aren't your thing and you still want a thrill, this classic woody has got you covered.

It's alright although too many people throw up on this and i prefer walking more or less to valraven or raptor. It doesn't really give airtime.although go check it out to say I rode it

My significant other and I gave Cedar Point a try. We decided to ride Blue Streak as our first ride. Blue Streak is an important part of Cedar Point history with it being their oldest roller coaster. There was a storage bin to put your belongings, so that was a plus!

I enjoyed every aspect of this coaster. It did have some shaking on the track, but that was expected. The first drop felt great! I feel that this coaster is a classic and I’m glad it’s appreciated!

Overall, Blue Streak was an excellent way to start off my day. I’m glad I chose to ride this one first. I can’t wait to ride it again!

Edited as of 2023: I gave this coaster another chance and I have to say I LOVE it. It's so underrated. The last ride I had was surprisingly smooth and absolutely full of airtime. It felt like I was standing at points. Good stuff.

It’s a classic coaster but I do have to say that the restraints don’t feel as secure as some other ones I’ve rode there like gatekeeper and maverick. It was also very bumpy.

Blue Streak, an absolute classic, never disappoints! Despite having gotten rougher over the years, its course retains a throwback essence untouched by newfound neighbors.

This is one fine campground, Staff was so nice, if you want a place to relax you can hear a pin drop. Easy to get to cedar point, Staff you do one fine job.

Horrible. Jarring. If you value your spine, just skip this one. Line was short for a reason

The worst roller coaster ever! It was extremely bumpy, gave me an instant headache, and very jerky! The safety bar was very uncomfortable on my husband’s waist. This RIDE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN! Terrible experience!

The oldest ride in the park and it shows! Very bumpy over the hills. But if you're going to ride the roller coasters, you cannot miss this one or any of the older ones. You gotta do them all!

The worst coaster I have ever ridden. It was incredibly bumpy and unpleasant. I love roller coasters, but for this one I wanted it to end the second it started. You would have to pay me to ride this again. I was close to the back so I’m sure that contributed to the jerkiness.

Wow! This coaster was a huge surprise. Remarkably smooth for its age, great pacing, and awesome airtime. Glad to see Cedar Point is taking care of this classic coaster.

This classic was blazing fast with a full train on our visit, the ejector feeling was great! I promise you won't fly out, it is very safe. There is precaution for this, other wise they wouldn't be in business. Many times I have ridden the blue streak with empty for the most part trains and the difference is amazing! Usually a short to no wait, always worth a ride:) smiling is going to happen, so get used to it!

Haven't been to Cedar Point in many years, but the negative comments about the Blue Streak are hilarious.it's an OLD ROLLER COASTER people.it will be a bumpy ride.plenty more updated coasters to ride on
