2 The lake is beautiful and always nice to be able to spend time with family. This past weekend was the second time we spent A LOT of money to rent a pontoon for 4 hours and the second time to be told there was NO LADDER available. It was not only disappointing to hear this but felt like a waste of money when you look forward to swimming and can’t get in and out of the pontoon without a major struggle! The struggle would have been very difficult for myself, a person with physical challenges, I was unable to get in and out of the water. My husband couldn’t get back in the pontoon until he swam to the shore and my son took the pontoon close enough for him to get in. My son who is 25 and a group of friends even found it a struggle to get in and out. When I mentioned to the young man at the dock upon return I was told unfortunately from other parties the ladders were broken and two were on order. I’m sorry but if ladders were checked upon return and were found to be broken, then THAT party should be charged for replacement!
I also feel no having a ladder is a safety issue. I will not spend any more money renting a pontoon at this location. I feel like the $150 that I put towards the rental was not worth it when you can’t exit or enter the water to swim! This happened not once but twice. Won’t be back!
Love coming here and renting boats. Dealing with the people here is a pleasant experience and hassle free
