I've been going to Dr Bowen for 16 years, through all 3 of my pregnancies and for every annual exam. He and his staff are attentive and caring. Dr Bowen is very experienced and knowledgeable, and gives thorough answers and explanations for every question or concern. I've had only good experiences with this office and staff.

I've been with Dr. Bowen since my first visit as a scared 19 year old. He then delivered both of my babies in my 20's. Now at 45 years old I travel from Florida to Ohio get my yearly exam. I would recommend Dr. Bowen to every woman young or old that I know without hesitation.

Dr. Bowen is so kind and gentle. Everyone in the practice that I met also had a calm and kind demeanor. I will definitely be going back and will recommend him to anyone who asks.

Dr. Bowen and his staff are phenomenal. You get a warm smile from everyone the second you walk in the door and check in, to being called back. Dr. Bowen is a gem and is so caring with his patients and will spend however much time he needs to with each patient. He's very thorough in explaining and answering any questions you may have. Highly recommend him and his practice.

Doctor Bowen is always very thorough with explanations for any questions I have and never seems rushed during examinations.

I have several areas of concern after being a patient here for over a year. I'll first start with the administrative staff of the office. Every time I waited to be seen for an appointment, I overheard the office staff and nurses discussing other patients in detail. Once I heard them talking about an acquaintance of mine and complaining about her persistent calls. I believe it is HIGHLY unprofessional and I can only imagine the things that have been said about me because I was a patient with a very complicated medical situation and didn't "comply" with all of their standard procedures. In my opinion, there was zero care and compassion for the patients and I believe that the staff of the office should have as good of a bed side manner as medical professionals are expected to have.

Which leads me to my next point: if you are looking for individualized care that truly fits your needs as a complex patient, I believe that the Bowen Center is not for you. I won't detail my individual situation but if you battle anxiety to any degree, emotional trauma due to loss, or hyperemesis gravidarum, I think you will be left scratching your head as to why you are not being treated better. I later found out the level of care I was missing once I switched practices mid-pregnancy with my third pregnancy. It is my opinion that mental health is taken very lightly at the Bowen Center.

Finally, there were many times at the Bowen Center during which I felt forced into care that I did not desire. Due to past traumas, certain care measures were not possible for me during my time at the Bowen Center. But instead of offering care and support for my wishes or offering me solutions for taking care of my mental health in that area, I felt I was looked at funny, sighed at, and pressured at every turn by all of the care providers into unwanted examinations in order to check the boxes on my chart. To me, it's as though they prefer the "easy to care for" patients. I also had what I thought were consistently bad experiences with the ultrasound technician being rough and very terse; I truly wish those moments could have been sweeter and more special. It may just be me but that's a time where a more kind person is especially needed as you never know what kind of news you may receive.

If you don't mind rude staff and have a perfect bill of health both mentally and physically, I think you will probably have a great experience here. But if you are anything like me and struggle with something in any way, especially your mental health, I do not recommend.

Love Dr. Bowen & his whole team! He is very knowledgeable and respectful with your preferences while also always trying to make sure you’re informed and understand what’s going on in your pregnancy. He made us feel heard and sympathized with us after our miscarriage and has provided top notch care with our rainbow baby. Truly a doctor who cares!

Dr. Bowen is up to date on current women's health advancements and truly cares for his patients. He always takes the time to thoughtfully and thoroughly answer questions, discuss concerns, and find solutions. Highly recommend

I’ve seen a lot of OBGYNs the past 7 years (5 pregnancies) and Dr. Bowen the only one I’ve found who doesn’t have a hidden agenda I’m expected to blindly follow. When I ask questions, his answers are not only scientifically- and research-based but also respects my personal preferences. His peaceful and calming presence is exactly what I needed to achieve a vba2c. My labor was 27 hours but he didn’t make me feel rushed in the slightest. I would (and do!) recommend Dr. Bowen and his staff to anyone looking for an OBGYN.

Dr. Bowen is very knowledgeable, and very compassionate. I've recommended him to many acquaintances over the past nine years. His staff are friendly and kind.

Dr Bowen always treats each person as an individual and gives you the time you need to ask questions and get answers. He explains everything in detail, calms your fears and listens to you and your body. Appointments can run long, but I schedule extra time. I would want him to not be rushed with me or any other patient. He is the best care I could ask for: gentle, kind, and confident through years of experience. Four births with the Bowen Center and currently under care for #5 (twins!)

Switched to him at 30 weeks wanting a vbac. Him and his staff were outstanding and truly had a wonderful, healing experience.

Dr Bowen has delivered 3 of my 4 babies. I wouldn’t have trusted anyone else with my VBAC deliveries. Now that I am done having babies, I won’t go anywhere else for my healthcare!

I’ve always had my younger kids in tow for appointments and they were very welcome (lots of toys in the waiting room, lots of patience with their questions!).

Bowen needs to have more doctors on his staff like him. He is incredible and made having a baby in 2021 feel normal in an upside down world.
