My experience with BRIDEface has been largely positive. I will go ahead and address one issue before gloating about them. After securing the payment but before the preview session, I tried multiple times, through different channels, to reach out to them in order to schedule the preview. This went on for a month or two before I essentially gave them an online ultimatum as a customer. That's when I could schedule the preview. It really shouldn't have come to that and it generated a lot of stress, but moving forward everything went extremely well. The preview resulted in a look I liked but not loved, so I gave them some feedback and they took my feedback! I absolutely loved my hair and makeup for my wedding! They were friendly, professional, fun, and gave great advice. Even with the hiccup, I highly recommend their services!

I can't sing their praises enough. On the day of my wedding, the girl that was scheduled to do my hair had an emergency and couldn't make it but Julie contacted me right away with replacements on their way to the venue. She went above and beyond and refunded me for my trial hair appointment when the girls that came out and did our hair was just as amazing! Leyla did my makeup and she is AMAZING. Not only is her work amazing, but she was so fun to have around! My whole bridal party felt like a million bucks that day and was sad when it was time for BrideFace to leave.

I loved using BrideFace for my bridal makeup. Tiffany was so nice and professional and I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. She was very responsive to the changes I wanted after my trial as well.

I know they had a very busy spring/summer, but the only thing I was somewhat frustrated with was how long it took for the BrideFace team to get back with me when I had questions. It took over a month a couple of times. I would still recommend them and use them again, however!

I am SO glad I went with Brideface for my wedding makeup and hair. Jasmine and Alyson are amazing and so talented in what they do. I actually had 3 makeup/hair trials with different artists/companies BEFORE I finally found them. They just knew exactly what I was looking for- which was an elevated but natural look. Plus, I was able to change my hair style between my tea ceremony and regular ceremony. I had them two plus 2 additional artists for 9 makeup/hair services in the span of 3 hours and they finished with plenty of time to spare:) My bridesmaids, mom, and mother in law looked stunning!

I highly recommend them for any beauty services you need!

I was so happy to have chosen Brideface for my wedding day! They did all my bridesmaids hair and makeup as well as my mother-in-law and mother! My bridal hair and makeup was done to perfection! Shay, Aubrey, Gerri, and Jasmine did such a great job. My makeup and hair trial really prepared me for my big day and gave me relief that i was going to look perfect and I felt gorgeous day of! I would recommend this company to any bride!

Could not recommend Alicia and Leyla more! Everyone looked so gorgeous and loved how sweet the team was. Alicia and Layla understood my vision perfectly and I've never felt more beautiful<3. The look was perfect for the type of wedding/reception we had and lasted the whole day. In fact, I'm a little sad I'm not based in Ohio and cannot use them for future hair/makeup needs! Everyone was on time, and they even got us ahead of schedule which was awesome. The team comes to you wherever you are getting ready and uses professional grade makeup and hair tools. Being out of state, they were amazing at accommodating my schedule and great with communication. We had 9 girls getting hair and makeup so they can work with bridal party sizes large and small. Brideface are the pros for bridal hair and makeup in the area and you would be remiss not to seek their services for your wedding day.

I’m honestly still in shock over how disappointing this was. I booked hair and makeup services for my wedding, but decided to cancel my contract after the makeup trial. Everyone I dealt with was extremely professional and friendly. My issues are entirely with the quality of the service.

I have hooded eyes and combination/dry skin. I chose brideface because of the great reviews and reassurance that they have experience with diverse facial features. I felt okay about the makeup application when leaving the appointment. It was not at all similar to what I asked for, but I figured we could tweak on my wedding day. After seeing myself in different lighting situations, it became more obvious that the makeup was just poorly applied.

The artist used Maybelline Fit Me foundation (red flag, but I can move past that because some drug store makeup is great). Judging from my experience with trying this foundation and how it sits on my skin, I’m assuming they used the matte formula instead of dewy. This and the setting powder settled into the my skin and made it look more dry, which isn’t an issue I’ve had since I started doing my own makeup as a teen, because I know not to cover it in powder. I didn’t think I’d have to specify something like that, but even the things I took the time to discuss with photo examples still went wrong. But even just the foundation was streaky, too sheer coverage without concealer, and the cheeks were a noticeably different color and placement.

I wanted dramatic glam eye makeup, in an elongated cat eye shape and ended up with very rounded 1960’s looking shape. It was okay, but again, not what I asked for when we literally talked through multiple photo examples about how I like to contour my hooded eyes instead of accentuate them. It was technically applied fine but a lot more muted than we discussed and a completely different look overall.

I was really excited to have this trial, I’m just so let down. I posted on Reddit for an outside opinion to make sure I wasn’t just being insane/overly self conscious or a bridezilla, and the comments were to the tune of, “oh honey, that MUA did you dirty. That’s not at all what you asked for. They should have told you they didn’t know how to do full glam, then you would have had time to book another artist. Your application looks much closer to the reference. ” I included photos of how I’d tried to fix the makeup, and the comments convinced me to just do my own wedding day makeup. Y’all, that is insanely disappointing. I’m not half as good at makeup as the kids on youtube.

The studio offered to give me another trial with a different artist, but I’m just so let down that I don’t want to put myself through that again. It made me feel like my skin was the problem, or like my face isn’t capable of looking like the other brides. It’s just really disappointing, and this added a massive amount of stress (not to mention $200+ on nicer products to get longer-wear out of my bridal look) in trying to figure out how to DIY this at the last moments, when I thought I was in great hands.: (

I am very pleased to have chosen BRIDEFACE for my wedding day. Julie, Leyla, and Alli have been very professional, friendly, and made our day stress free. Special shout out to both Leyla and Alli for making all of us feel and look beautiful!

I hired BRIDEface for a family event celebrating a family member’s milestone birthday this past NYE. The guest of honor and all the women in our family had hair and makeup done by Julie and her team. Without exception, all five of them were thrilled with the results and impressed by the team’s organization, they way they listened to their wants/needs, and overall professionalism.

Julie was prompt and responsive setting everything up via email and on the day of, her team’s adherence to COVID protocols allayed any concerns we’d previously had about extended close contact. The whole process was easy from start to finish and the final result (seeing my mom, sisters, and cousins beaming and feeling very chic) overdelivered for the price.

Thanks to the BRIDEface team, all the women in my family were glamorous, beautiful, and totally outclassed us men in the professional photos taken before and during the event!

Despite the business’ bride-specific name, the scope of their services was perfect for our family’s non-wedding event. I cannot recommend this business highly enough.

I chose to go with BRIDEface for a number of reasons. Peer review, location of shop, variety of services, and number of stylists.

Julie was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. She was flexible and happy to accommodate our group at the location on Elm as it was close to our venue.

Unfortunately when we arrived we were informed that there was only one hair stylist and one makeup artist that would be servicing our whole group. As we were given a fairly long window of time, I tried to remain calm.

Our hair was finished with time to spare, and everyone looked fabulous. Each and every person was able to get what they wanted and Alicia was kind and upbeat throughout the whole process.

Unfortunately our makeup was a different story. I arrived hoping to have airbrush for my wedding only to be informed that the airbrush kit was broken. The hair stylist recommended asking Julie (the owner) for another kit, but the artist ignored the suggestion and just said I would like the traditional. Then, after asking for a natural look, I was given a heavy smokey eye. The biggest issue was that we ended up running over on time by over 45 minutes.

From that point on our day was a bit rushed. While the end product was overall good and my hair and makeup looked great throughout the whole evening, the process was not what I had hoped for.

BRIDEface was so great to work with! I used Tiffany for my make-up on my wedding day and absolutely love love love her! She is so friendly and warm and makes you feel so good. She does an amazing job with make up and nailed exactly what I wanted:) the entire team from BRIDEface on my day of was extremely professional, nice, and excellent at what they do! My bridesmaids were very happy with both their hair and make-up!

Alli did hair for my wedding party and everyone looked great! My hair stayed curled all night. Plus, she is really nice and sweet. Her professionalism went a long way in making my day less stressful and go more smoothly, which was much appreciated! Highly recommend Alli for future brides and their wedding parties. Julie was also very easy to communicate with, BRIDEface was an awesome decision for my wedding!

Brideface sent a hair stylist (Alicia) and makeup artist (Tiffany) to my house to do my wedding hair and makeup and the hair of all my bridesmaids. Everyone's hair looked wonderful and lasted all day, and my makeup (including subtle false eyelashes) looked amazing and also lasted all day. I loved both Alicia and Tiffany - they were friendly and helped everyone feel comfortable during a stressful/busy wedding morning! They also really listened to what everyone wanted and offered helpful suggestions/opinions for those of us less sure on what we wanted. Very professional, friendly, great value - I highly recommend!

Jasmine and Kim were our stylists for our wedding. I love their personalities and are extremely talent women. They were punctual and arrived to the venue on time. Love their personalities - fun, relatable, chill, and are just as excited to be a part of your big day.

They made my bridesmaids glow. My mom has never had her makeup done professionally and she was elated. My mom and bridesmaids couldn’t stop telling me how amazing they felt.

Not only did I look like a bride. I felt like a bride. They contributed to an incredible day. Thank you all!

Brideface was willing to help me with getting my friends makeup done, on super short notice. They were professional, extremely helpful, and very customer friendly, please use their services, I wish all businesses had an ounce of their integrity.

Jasmine was AMAZING! She ran on time and so prompt. She made each and every one of my bridesmaids and mothers feel so comfortable even from girls that wear make-up everyday to ones that barley put anything on. She is funny and really has such a great keen eye on making sure to nail every single one of the request that she was given. I cannot thank her enough for making me feel confident the WHOLE day (even crying multiple times lol) and making us all feel great!

Jasmine (makeup) and Emily (hair) are so talented! I gave them a few guidelines on what I wanted and let them work their magic. At the end of my trial run, I knew I had to book them!

On our wedding day, Jasmine and Emily managed to keep everyone calm throughout the excitement of the day. They arrived early, started early and finished early, which was a huge help because we needed the extra time to get dressed before pictures.

My makeup felt light, not caked on. The lashes were smaller chunks instead of one long strip, which gave me a much more natural look. The best part is my makeup, including my lip color, lasted all day even though I ate and drank. Thank you, Jasmine!

My updo was clean and elegant, just like I asked. Emily used enough bobby pins to keep my hair up but not so many that my head hurt. My hair lasted until I took it out, even though I danced throughout the entire day. Thank you, Emily!
