Bright Now! Dental & Orthodontics reviews
19Good luck EVER getting them to answer a phone call. They are HORRIBLE trying to contact. Had important questions regarding my daughter surgery but tried for weeks calling 10+ times a day NEVER ANSWERED.
Discrimination against special needs.
The doctor canceled our 1st apt on a Thursday. Staff said he does it every Thursday so they gave me a double appointment the next Wednesday. We arived early with our paper work. The staff refused to see my daughter's. The problem was a double appointment. Do not go here Kara is rude lied to other staff member's about me in front of my face. My husband and I where both calm and never used profanity but this was the reason for not being seen. If you have a bad experience and dont know what to do or any complaints contact Gryphon Investor's Incorporated in San Francisco. They own Bright Now.
Sherrie, one of Dr. Chen’s assistants was so great. Very professional, and a great personality. I felt very at ease. Dr. Chen is wonderful. He is very precise in everything he does. I have never felt pain on any procedure. I have had several crowns and regular checkups. The office seems a little understaffed, as Dr. Chen seems to be the only dentist. I feel he could use more help.
Worst dentist office ever, don’t answer the phones when they finally answer they will tell you they would call you back and never do. My daughter needs oral surgery to be treated and it’s been over 15 weeks and still nothing. Now my daughter is in pain with a abscess tooth.
Historically, I have always hated the Dentist. Expensive, painful, terrible memories.
I had to go see a dentist. I am still in the throws of my treatment and yes it is still expensive as all dental work is.
The staff treated me like a person, not just a number. 1 staff member went above and beyond at first. The initial Dentist wanted to do all kinds of stuff that would cost a pile of money and would require a year or longer of treatment and with all of that there would be no guarantee that it would be successful. Brite Now listen to my concerns and found me an alternative that met what I could afford and would suit me best.
Thank you Holly, Elise and the rest of the team supporting the dentists.
All staff members were very friendly, they made me feel very comfortable, and treated well by everyone. I would certainly recommend Bright Now to anyone.
By far, the most unprofessional office I’ve ever been in! First visit, waited an hour. Second visit was told I had 4 cavities. Third visit, waited over an hour and somehow 2 cavities disappeared and only need 2 filled. Voicemail has been “down” for 3 weeks so can’t get a call back.emails are completely ignored.definitely not a way to deal with people’s health.very disgusted!
I have had a brain splitting toothache for the past two months, I made an appointment with this office two weeks in advance and the day of I walked into the office and they told me that the only doctor they had that day (that they scheduled me with) didn't accept my insurance so I have to wait another 16 days to get it looked at. They had two weeks to text or call to tell me they didn't accept my insurance, but they dident until I was at the front desk, this is ridiculous.
I had two teeth pulled. I didn't feel a thing! The doctor and his assistant were very friendly. It was a good experience
Had a dental emergency and was able to call on a Friday afternoon and be seen. The Dr and the techs and the office staff were so nice and explained everything to my child who was scared. Would definitely recommend.
It all started when I called to make an appt and the gentleman answering the phone number I called with Bright Now. My dental insurance had change and the dentist on the list was not listed as employed by Bright Now! I asked the man if he was at the location I was calling. He indicated he was. I went ahead and made an appointment believing this. He took my personal information including asking for my birth date and Social Security number as well as my insurance information. My appointment was for 830am the following day. I arrived 15 minutes early finding NONE of my info except my name was in their computer and the man who took my personal info did not work on site. At 11: 30am I final got in to the dentist chair only to wait another 20 minutes. The dentist saw me for less than 10 minutes. A dental assistant spent 20 minutes taking X-rays. The office was clean and nice. The receptionist kept my id and medical card for over an hour and still hadn’t processed it when I asked for them back. She was more interested in telling me her personal problems. The dentist did help me and was knowledgeable, but I felt like I was part of an assembly line. A very slow moving assembly line.
Today I went in to have 4 filling done today on my bottom teeth my appointment was at 10 they get me back there around 10: 30 witch was okay with me. Then around 10: 45 they numb me and then I sit there around 12 ish to have 3 people behind me get helped and done before me so i left and rescheduled it but now its not till june. They did amazing job on my top dentures I will say thought and I love them for that part but not for the filling I needed Done
Dr. Chen & his staff are very friendly and do a wonderful job! I have severe dental anxiety and I felt very comfortable & at ease here. There is a little bit of a wait, but that's to be expected most places. I would definitely recommend.
Spent 3 hours at the ddst office to NOT have a cleaning! Ddst looked at my teeth for 30 seconds after stays I waited and waited and waited the hygienist had to leave to go look at a house was told to reschedule for cleaning!
My son has a bad tooth ache and severe agony, he called them and just because he hasn’t been seen in two years they wouldn’t get him in for help nor would they take his insurance so we offered to pay cash and they still wouldn’t see him. This kind of care isn’t humane, when a person is in severe pain with their teeth and they won’t see him, don’t go to This dentist!
It took a while to be seen. Once we got back there, the X-ray tech was very friendly. The dentist, however, was very cool and aloof. He tried to tell me that I had "5 or 6" cavities (even though I was just seen by my previous dentist 6 months ago and had zero) and that my daughter had "16 or 17" cavities. Not only is that a ridiculous amount since she's had regular dental care, but I don't get the "or". Shouldn't it be exact? Sorry, but I would not recommend this dental office.
I called their call center to make an appointment and was not made aware that they would only be conducting an evaluation on my first visit. When I got there and the receptionist asked me what I was there for I stated a cleaning. I was not made aware there either. I go in to get my x-rays completed and she also asked what I was looking to get done, I stated a cleaning yet again. I was not made aware this time either. Finally I get pulled back into an actual room where this dentist who acted as if I wasn't even a real person started talking to his coworker about my teeth in dental jargon that I didn't understand. Next, I was scurried out of the room to the receptionist again to pay. I was then told that I had to come back two more times. I asked why, and if I was going to get my cleaning done today. She said that they only do evaluations the first time and I would have to come back for my cleaning. I then asked why I was going to have to come back then a second time, and she said for a filling. That left me more confused, apparently I had a cavity. That would have been nice to know from the dentist himself before being scurried out of the room. The whole experience was bizarre and terrible. I felt left out of the loop the entire time.
I was very pleased with Dr. Chen and his staff. They did a great job and even got me to relax. I would recommend him and his staff to any one needing dental service.
I paid $3,000.00 for an implant last April 2022. The crown broke in half and you guys want me to pay for it again? It broke because of the making of it from your dental manufacturing, not from me! If I ate something hard and Ididn't, it still shouldn't have broken. I'm going to have to find some other dental office anyway because you guys canceled my cleaning for the 3rd time. You can't keep enough hygienists!
