Broadway Mary's, Lorain OH

Sausage gravy is a must try! It’s so delicious! Pancakes were also very good, and the coffee was great too. Fast service, great atmosphere, friendly people, and cool retro vibes. Will def be back to try more of the menu! This restaurant deserves more attention, as I wish it was in a better location.

Went here today for my first time with a work friend, I ordered the Italian and he got a breakfast burrito. We both loved our meals! (My first time ever getting an Italian anything!) the vibe was super laid back, parking was pretty easy and the service was very good. Lots of people hanging out and having a good time. I went around 12 pm! I will definitely be back whenever I’m out in Lorain!

My wife and I stopped in on a Sunday before going to the Lorain Palace theatre for a show. Everyone was super friendly and the food was great. I had a burger and fries it was fresh and came out quick. This place has a great atmosphere and is a great place to go! Highly recommended!

Such a cool spot! Local and seasonal coffee along with food. A cozy, laidback, eclectic atmosphere with friendly staff. Our food took a little bit long to come out, but we passed the time with one of the many board games they have. French toast and pancakes were great!

I absolutely adore this gem of a place! It stands out with its one-of-a-kind relaxing and vintage ambiance that you can't find just anywhere. The food is simply divine, and the coffee is the best I've ever had. I recently took my parents here for brunch, and they were just as impressed. It's rare to find a spot that hits all the right notes like this one does. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a delightful meal in a charming setting!

My friends and I arranged to have a local photographer meet us at Broadway Mary's for a photoshoot. First, the decor was FAB Second, the owner and all the staff were so accommodating and allowed us free range of both the inside and outside of the restaurant. Third, we got to finish out afternoon off with delicious sandwiches and tater tots! All around a great experience that made our vacation to Loraine perfect!

I've never had a bad experience. Mary is awesome, her food is top notch, her server is MOST pleasant and friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone!

I love this place. The food is good and the atmosphere is excitingly retro. It reminds me of parties in my parents basement in the 70's. This was a great venue for open mic night, a best kept secret. Keep doing what you do, Mary!

Love the food here. Everything always tastes so fresh. The place itself is very whimsical. Love the plants and the antique decor. Service here is a bit slow, so if you're in a rush, it's not the best option. If you're looking for somewhere cool to have a tasty bite to eat and hang out, this is a great spot.

I love the Hometown restaurant, it's just phenomenal. The food is good good fibes. The environment's wonderful, Hospitality is wonderful as well. I took my Granddaughter there for her birthday and it was awesome she just loved it!

What a wonderful Friday evening dinner experience. The service couldn't have been better and those loaded tots were to die for! Can't wait to come back and try the French toast and pancakes!

The food was great. The staff were very friendly and personable. The only problem was it took a long time to get our food.

I got an iced Golden Latte, and my friend got an iced caramel latte with coconut milk. Both were delicious, and we think they would be even better warm to melt the sugar and honey more. The inside setup is very aesthetic and cohesive. Definitely would visit again when in the area and would love to try the food. An out of the ordinary coffee shop that brought an enjoyable experience!

I had the opportunity to try Broadway Mary's recently with some friends and I was excited as they hyped it up quite a bit. After a lengthy wait, our table received our food. I ordered the gravy and toast and I soon felt that I was sitting in a goodwill trying to eat what looked to be cold cat food. There's a possibility this was a one off, the food my friends received appeared to be much more appealing but they agreed the food was cold. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and helpful.

Interesting building and decorating with a great location right in downtown lorain.
Smaller menu to choose from and the breakfast choices are limited.
They have beef on bread instead of biscuits and gravy and it was just ok to me.
The eggs were cooked right and the woman who was running the bar/ dining area was friendly, she was just a bit overwhelmed being alone.

Things have not improved as far as staff go, just one cashier/server for the entire dining area. We ordered items that were not delivered to our table, we had to ask for silverware and then found out what we had ordered was given to customers that came in after us and ordered the same thing. And when I tried to get the item the restaurant was out.
