Tooknmy truck to Brownies because the transmission in my Tahoe went out. They were able provide me with a clear estimate which didn't break the bank and fixed my Tahoe in a timely manner. Appreciate all they did for me.
Talk about quick service took my work van in on Friday and these guys stayed late on a Saturday and got it done for me
I came to brownie Transmission with the intention to get my transmission fixed. They gave me a free diagnosis and if came out that it was the torque converter. It had to be replaced they had my car for almost 2 weeks fixing it. I picked it up on the 10 of December and had to take it back the next day because it was leaking a heavy amount of transmission fluid. They did pay for a rental for 3 days for the inconvenience which was nice. I drive a van because I have 3 children and a 95 grandfather I transport on the daily. They wanted to give me a small compact 2 seated car like a Prius and stated the at the boss wouldn’t allow me to get anything bigger so I paid with my own money to get a bigger size. Picked up my car on the 14th drove fine now today on the 22 it’s leaking transmission fluid I immediately take there to the shop they lift my car up for about 30 mins and comes back and says I have a engine leak that wasn’t there before. The manger is very rude and they don’t document anything he told me everything is written on paper after I asked him what work was done the 2nd time I brought it back. He couldn’t produce paperwork. This place was highly recommended but I will not recommend this place nor will I be back I’ve paid 3000 dollars for my car to still be leaking and acting weird while driving. I am not happy and they will be hearing more from me
Terrible time management. My truck was supposed to be done monday and now its friday. Its been there for 3 weeks now. Also i was supposed to be financed for 1250 and dan forgot to process the rest of my app and now im only financed for 500. I have dropped 1899 in the past week on it. When i asked to speak to his boss he said he is out living his life and he doesnt hand out his gm number. I called another brownies and they gave me the number to reach his boss. If i had know it was gonna take so long i would have never taken my truck to them. 3 weeks is unacceptable when they told me one week. This is not right and im not happy. I thought by taking my truck to a well known shop i would have it taken care of in a decent time but i see that is not the case.
Lisa Good Day. I am contacting you as a courtesy and as a follow up to the service from the location in Kettering. Please let me start by saying I have been in the equipment and repair service for over 30YRS I hold C. E. M. (Certified Equipment Manager) from A. E. M. P. (Association Of Equipment Managing Professionals) a National certification and I have never seen customer service like this. I deal with customers and vendors on a daily basis. The employees at this location (Management) were the most unprofessional I have had the misfortune of dealing with. I dropped off a unit for repairs on Monday was told it would be diagnosed Tuesday? I called Tuesday was told I would get a return call but did not. Same scenario for Wednesday. So I went there Thursday spoke with Manager he assured me it would get looked at on Thursday! Got nothing. Friday all day no call back so I picked the unit up. When I spoke with the Manager at pick-up and expressed my concerns he shrugged his shoulders and said we are busy. I informed him I would be having my secretary draft a complaint letter to the BBB. His response was that it holds no monetary value will not affect me? Quit a response from a managing professional…….
Having said all this what I find to be the most disturbing is the condition of the shop and facility. I cannot believe you can do the type of professional repairs on a Transmission at this facility giving the conditions there I have photos of your shop and yard I will be posting and forwarding to the BBB as well as the E. P. A.you have fluids on the ground running out the door the rear parking location is fraught with Environmental Violations and safety concerns. As a concerned citizen and a steward for the Environment I am compelled to report these issues. I will be notifying my contacts at the E. P. A.on Monday as well as the local fire dept and O. S. H. A.and sending them the photos. One could only hope your other locations are Managed or Operated in a more professional and safe and Environmentally friendly Manner. I appreciate you time and would welcome your thoughts….

I enjoy working with Dan at brownies he was very respectful very patient with who we were dealing with as far as the car warranty people that I had he never showed any different side with me every time I called him concerning my car I know it wasn't him I know it was the people that I was working with on the other side whenever I had a question Dan always answers for me I would recommend brownies to anyone

My dad and I brought my car in to get a second opinion since the dealership told me I needed a new clutch and transmission. Upon initial inspection at Brownies, we were quoted an estimate that ended up being less than half of the final cost. While this was frustrating, luckily only a few parts of the transmission needed to be replaced. I dropped my car off in mid-June, expecting repairs to take a week, but multiple delays kept my car in the shop for close to a month. For more than a week straight I was told that my car "should be ready by the end of the day".
Less than 2 weeks after getting my car back from the shop I noticed a rattling noise. I brought my car in for service and was told it was coming from the transmission and will need to get it inspected in the near future.
The staff at Brownie's was very friendly and professional through this experience, however, I am disappointed with the timing and quality of service.
Best experience I had with a transmission repair shop. Hassle free and up front with everything.took 3 weeks but that because others were in front of me but still it was much faster than most.definitly would recommend for a place to take your vehicle for your transmission repair.
Professional and made me feel at ease from start to finish. Checked prices and saved me over 1000 dollars compared to what I was quoted at Aamco. Thank you Brownies.
Great place and trustworthy! I was recommended to them by one of my family members. Before, I thought my car had a transmission issue. Went to a different auto shop, and they told me it was 100% transmission. They were thinking it would be a $4,000 repair for a $6,000 car. I wanted to get a second opinion, and thankfully I did! Brownie IT said it was NOT transmission, but my front two wheel bearings. The cost to repair it was $350 for each tire. I saved myself from getting a new car. I was very thankful for their wonderful and accurate service.
I paid them to rebuild my transmission and they did just that. They stick to their warranty and I learned that first hand. My transmission had more issues and I took it back. They pulled my transmission out again one of their techs did research to find the root of the problem. While Brownies may seem expensive you really can't put a price on dependability and quality. They stuck it out and repaired my transmission. If you are looking for cheap and quick don't get here, but if you're looking for quality and dependable workmanship then this is your place. I recommend that if you have transmission issues or any other issues that you take your vehicle to them, it is worth your time and money.
We Stopped in today. Thank You for spending the time with us and educating us on our options. It’s a relief to realize that we don’t have to purchase a new car. You will see ours soon.
Pleased with the service. Dan the manager is professional and courteous. I knew what the issue was when I brought my car in (alternator) and the shop found the same issue and didn't try to throw in any other repairs. I feel they are honest and will bring my car back in the future.
