Buck Creek Marina reviews
8Love the reservoir, I love the night fishing here. Only bad thing is them damn racoons lol. Me and the wife has caught some big fish out of there.
Nice place for boating. Good for walks on a few nice trails. Beautiful views. Plenty of picnic tables under shade trees for sitting and relaxing. Nice sized beach.
Marina area is nice well kept. I fished for a little while and caught a couple small crappie by the boat slips then moved to more of an open water area and went for catfish got 1 about 3lbs so it was worth the stop. Just being able to get out in the great early spring weather is a must due.
Newly remodeled cabin 24 is beautiful. Having a great time fishing and walking the trails! Would highly recommend!
Good place to fish wasnt crowded at least when I went. The bait shop there had bass minnows but was out of crappie minnows when I went in, but they do usually have them. My friend said the bathroom was really nasty tho.
To early in the season to make an honest comment but based on past 2 years it is/was a joke as the restraunt/baithouse was never open so will see what develops in near future.suggestion on another area the state should cement the picnic tables down to keep idiots from stealing them or throwing them into the lake. REALLY people?
Beautiful lake way off the main roads (no traffic noise). Plenty of space to bank fish. There is a bait shop at the marina also
This marina less than 5 yrs ago was such an enjoyable place to go and fish in a clean well taken care of, friendly atmosphere. The bait shop and restaurant was open and managed wonderfully. Hosing down the area was done daily, Bait shop was open and stocked with merchandise. Restaurant was clean, busy and open daily. In the last few years, apparently funding has stopped and it's dirty, unkempt, cigarette butts, trashy. Bathrooms often nasty. Sad, to see this happen. Enjoyed it so much more when it meant something.
