The sites are tight for large rvs be very careful. Other than that! We can't wait to go back! It's amazing the most kids activities ever

KOA Buckeye Lake is my home away from home! I get to visit at least once a month and always look forward to the friendly staff, the same Cabin #1 and the ability to experience Gods nature in a peaceful setting! See you in a couple of weeks!

Beautiful treed location, clean and well maintained.nice shaded area for tents or walks, playground, and activities (in season) Perfectly located between small town / lake fun and big city activities

Very disappointing KOA no Laundry why are we paying for this.on a very long trip.probably one of the more important parts of a full service KOA would be to have Working and Available washing machines for the camper who has been on the road for a week or more.no relaxing and using the amenities u are paying for instead we get to sit in the laundry mat parking lot for 2 hors instead of enjoying our camp site because ur washers are not working.unacceptable will not camp here again

Had a reservation here. Had a death in our family. I tried calling them numerous times as soon as I found out. When doing so, it was still within the cancellation time frame. Left them 2 voicemails because they would not answer the phone. The next day they said the best they could do was switch my dates. They could not refund me because they got the messages the next day. Not right at all! I called several times the day before and within their business hours. Extremely bad management and customer service. As i looked at other reviews, I’m obviously not the only one. KOA needs to do something about the people running this campground!

Just read through a lot of reviews. Many many complaints of staff and I agree. Maybe KOA should step in and do something.

Edit due to their response. You did not follow your own cancellation policies, so don’t feed us that bull. I called before the cutoff time to call. I called numerous times while also trying to deal with a loss. I left 2 messages. How is it my fault that you don’t answer the phone or check for messages? Just because you listened the next day doesn’t mean I left them that day. Per your policy I should have been refunded not just switched dates around and forced to come up with a new date right then and there.

I have visited before and had an OK experience; however, my last experience came around booking a return reservation. I booked and tried to modify or cancel within the 48 hour window on their website and on my confirmation email for a reservation made 2 days earlier. The property claimed they could not allow me to cancel and would take the entire reservation amount because it was their franchise policy holiday weekend. This policy is not on their reservation email or website! Beware of these business practices! I will be reporting to the BBB also for the lack of transparency to customers.

Our site was so close that the sewer inlet was in the yard of the people next to us. Their fire ring was just 6 feet from our camper.

My family rented a deluxe cabin, and it was great. Inside was enough sleeping room for atleast 6, and full bathroom, microwave, mini fridge and a grill outside on the full deck w/picnic table.

We recently stayed for 3 days as a base to go visit the great Columbus Zoo.
Our Patio site was tight for a big rig.
Also very disappointing was 4 of their 5 washers in the laundry were out of order. Now you know they didn’t all go out at the same time. Poor, poor planning for an essential Kampground benefit.

We stayed in the cabins at the back of the park. Lots of room back there for the kids to run around and play and close enough to the bathrooms. We arrived late, but the camp host greeted us and brought us firewood. In fact, the nice men worked all weekend delivering wood and ice, and even took us for a hay ride! We would recommend a cabin again!

Buckeye Lake KOA has some of the nicest staff. The grounds are great, lots of shade and the children's areas are above par. It's our family's favorite KOA to visit yearly.

Very polite and friendly staff. Exceeded all expectations. First time staying at KOA and I highly recommend. Very nice facility.

Traveling across country and this was by far the best RV park we found. It was spacious, quiet, and full of mature trees that did not interfere with slide outs. The staff was great and friendly and the area was wonderful. Wish we had more time to explore Buckeye Lake.

It's a nice campground within walking distance of Buckeye Lake. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance too. My only two complaints are alot of the laundry machines were out of order, and the campground will flood if there is a lot rain.

We stayed in our own camper so can't comment on cabins. Very nice place, clean and friendly.

Not only did we book our stay a year in advance with a deposit, just to get our site change on arrival by the rudest new management “Steve”, telling us if we didn’t like where the “computer changed us to “we could just GO HOME. Then overcharged our card, credit issued when confronted, then charged us an unauthorized extra night the day after we checked out. Also overcharged another camper traveling with us after checkout. DO NOT TRUST them with your credit or debit card. Pay Cash or stay Away! Avoid rude office staff at all cost. Best to find an alternative campground. This place is not worthy of the KOA name!

Buckeye lake KOA is a good little spot. Most camper spots are facing each other. Some people are actually living there. Other then that seems pretty quiet. Take something to kills mosquitoes the have a creek nearby and mosquitoes are trying to kills us. Kids rode there biks all over campground. Patrolled all nightas well.
