Really quick response when the furnace in my daughter’s apartment quit at 10: 30pm. Called the after hours answering service and got a call back within 5 minutes. Maintenance person arrived with space heaters within an hour and HVAC folks came the next morning and fixed the issue.

Terrible management. Numerous issues throughout the year. Don’t rent from this company. They are rude and unprofessional. Steer clear!

This agency does not care about resident parking and is also charging for maintenance requests on a rental property

Buckeye Real Estate poured a new driveway for our neighbor. It gave them an extra parking space! It was fun watching their progress and the quality they put into their work. Nice!

Save yourself many headaches. At one point the power was out for 4 days in the winter because it “wasn’t an emergency” and just kept claiming they weren’t able to make it out that day.

Please do not rent from this leasing company. They will do anything and everything they can to squeeze as much money from students as possible. I beg you to PLEASE do your research on other properties around the OSU area. There are many other leasing companies that are MUCH easier to work with.

From a financial standpoint Buckeye real estate leases welfare equivalent homes with extreme wear and tear for egregious prices. From a maintenance standpoint they will take forever to take care of excessive molding, non-functioning A/C, broken heaters, etc. Oh, and they will charge you for any maintenance work that does end up getting done. From a safety standpoint they will not do anything about harassment/assault from strangers at your doorstep (filed police report for proof).

On top of that, look forward to a clueless staff with pretentious management. Forget about getting your full deposit as well. Your apartment could be in better shape than when you moved in and they will still find a way to deduct your deposit. Read the countless reviews across various sites showing how sleazy this leasing company is.

If you do end up leasing, I pray that you do not have the same experience

DO NOT LEASE FROM THESE PEOPLE. They could not care less about their tenants. Even if you pay for parking and live at the building they will let you get towed for no good reason.

Our daughter is entering Year 2 with Buckeye Real Estate. There were 8 girls on the lease and 1 of them made the decision to back out of the lease after signing it. There were many technical, financial and legal details and Julie, the manager at Buckeye Real Estate, immediately responded and answered all of our questions, assisting us throughout the process. I was very impressed with the level of service we received!

I've rented from Buckeye Real Estate for about 2 years. I would recommend them to anyone looking for student housing. Every interaction with their staff has been easy enough and straightforward. They're attentive to any problems that do arise. I had a few minor maintenance issues but they were always addressed very promptly. My ceiling was leaking at 10pm on a Sunday and they sent someone over to fix it that night. Overall it's been a good experience, and refreshing compared to some other campus landlords.

I called the maintenance emergency line because the power went out and the apartment was freezing. They told us that a power outage isn’t considered an emergency and refused to send someone out here? If you have workers available I’m not sure why they wouldn’t help their tenant who is clearly in distraught. They absolutely do not care about what conditions you are living in. Find somewhere else who actually counts freezing during winter months as an “emergency”.

I see a lot of people complaining about so just wanted to share my experience leasing with them so far. I've been happy and they have been cooperative toward different situations within logic. Just try to give them good energy and usually it works. Few examples:

I forgot that my move out for a day and they did send me a scary email to file a court dispute but at the end they didn't charge me extra. Maybe the email was too much but they were kind enough to not charge me fees and I got my security deposit back. I do appreciate you guys!

Another one: I had a situation that paid my rent late a few hours yesterday and they charged me $40 but, after a voice message they were kind to remove it. They didn't do the same last year but it was mentioned in my lease and they had the right to do so.

I told them about laundry issue and they did take care of it. I think there are a few people like James from maintenance, Chelsea from Accounting and Julie the manager that are kind to work out with students. Keep up the good work!

Some suggestion for them: I think the security deposit is high and installing cameras for your covered parking area would be nice.

1382 is decent in terms of the apartment, rent, and maintenance but the laundry is perpetually broken. I've barely ever had a peaceful laundry day here. The coins get stuck all the time and I have to keep paying double to get laundry done because my first set of coins are not retrievable anymore. The laundry room got flooded, the machines are always broken. There are just 2 machines so you can't even do laundry on most days. This has become the source of constant frustration.

Let's start off with the parking. Almost 200 dollars to park in a lot that has almost 15 available spots. Apartments here have broken windows. Well over 5+ people living in 2 bedroom apartments. We were in the process of signing over our lease to my brother, we were out of the apartment for less than 2 full days, raw sewage backed up from the tub. Twice. We weren't even the only unit with this issue. We're the 4th unit to have this done. I understand Covid has slowed down people's ability to care about others well being but, this is just down right disgusting, and embarrassing. Don't bother calling for noise complaints of loud music at 3am or emailing. They go out of their way to ignore them and pretend they never received contact from you. Glad we are leaving. Worst 3 years of living I've had. Not worth 800 a month.

Prepare to get your wheels stolen even if you park under the building (fix this issue and I will delete the comment).

Worst Company I have ever dealt with. Stole most of our security deposit after living there for 3 years. Don’t rent from hear. Just look a the other reviews
