Don't Don't DON'T! If I could it would be 0 stars. Customer service is horrible. Order car a months in advance, for specific time. When I came there they said they don't have a car, it would be there later (they couldn't say when). I said I could pick it up next day, and they said they can't promise to hold it up for me. No call, no email to let me know they had a problem. Can't depend on them

I rented a vehicle from this office twice. The first car smelled like smoke so bad and wasn't cleaned very well.
I went back a couple weeks after and rented again, hoping that it was a one time issue.
The car also smelled, one of the tires had something wrong with it that wasn't noticeable until I was already too far to turn back and deal with exchanging vehicles.
The car itself wasn't bad but the return was. The large lady with dreads was not nice. She doesn't smile, doesn't look at you and just says what she thinks is correct as if you aren't even standing there. She tried to charge us $120 to clean the car. Sh stated that it has excessive dirt. The attached pictures are of the "dirt". We were required to go down the road and vacuum the car out or we would be charged $120. Although it doesn't sound like a big deal, I've been renting cars for years and have never had an agency require me to vacuum the car out. This is part of the fees you pay when you rent the car. I also can understand if the car was a complete mess or damaged. Please see attached pics and make up your own mind.

My experience with Avis/Budget in Solon was very positive. This is the third time renting here in the past two months and they have taken great care of me three times in a row. My cars have all been full of gas and very clean. I needed to extend my rental agreement by one day this last time and Tamika the manager called me back and said I might as well keep the car for 2 days instead of 1 as the price would be exactly the same. I would call this excellent customer service.

WORST EVER CAR RENTAL! Talk about terrible customer service. Rude agent along with those who work in the back. Reported to Budget and to Expedia. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I will never rent from this location again! Terrible customer service! There was a small amount of sand on the carpet from getting in and out of the car at the beach and I was told to clean it or they would charge me $125 for excessive soilage. My husband rents from enterprise all over the US and has NEVER had to clean a car before returning. Guy at counter was extremely rude and threw the keys at me when I told him I would not rent from them again. We went and cleaned the car and when we returned my husband told him he didn't appreciate him being rude to me and the guy told him to get out of his store or he would call the cops. Never in my life have I been treated this way at any store and I never even raised my voice at this gentleman. Terrible terrible customer service!

Very poor customer service. I frequently rent from another company but thought I'd try to save a few bucks. The fact that the Budget employees were sluggish from the pick up was the first flag. Upon returning my car, they told me that I would be charged the cleaning fee or I had the option to take it somewhere to vacuum it out myself. This car was NOT dirty! This car had a few grass clippings from my shoe and a few crumbs from who knows what but this car was not dirty. It was very clear that the workers did not want to clean the car themselves. He was rude and did not make eye contact. I will be taking my business elsewhere and gladly pay a few dollars more for a company that I can trust.

This was the worst car rental experience I have ever had. My daughter rented a car on 5/13 with a return date of 5/17/23. When she picked up the car there was an odor in the car. It wasn't anything major or something that would prevent us from keeping the car. Just an unpleasant smell. She hung a car air freshener in the car and the car was utilized for our trip. We returned the car on 5/16/23. The agent, Ahmed, was very rude and aggressive. He kept asking my daughter if she was over or under the age of 16 and if she had driven the car. If he had checked the rental agreement, he would've seen that she was 25 and had rented the car on her own. When he returned from getting the mileage out of the car he let us know that he would be charging the fee for smoking in the car. We advised him that no one had smoked in the car and that the fee was unwarranted. He said there had to have been smoking in the car and that we had tried to cover it up with perfume (air freshener). I explained again that no one smoked in the car and that neither of us smokes. I have asthma and both of us work for a hospital that checks its employees for nicotine via blood tests. He went on to say that he could either charge $125 or have $450 charged the next day when the "big boss" comes in. We stated again we weren't accepting either as there had not been any smoking in the car. We explained why the air freshener was used. He said he was going to charge $125 which is the lowest level cleaning fee and that we didn't have to agree to it because he had the card information and could charge whatever he wanted. He said I could call corporate or speak with the manager the next day. I asked when would they be in? He replied he wasn't sure- they don't have set hours. I returned to Avis/Budget the next day at opening (8am). I explained to Ken what had occurred, and I asked if the car had been cleaned yet? He said it hadn't. I asked if he could take a look at it with me since I was being charged an excessive cleaning fee. He looked inside the car and was dumbfounded. He asked what did Ahmed say the charge was for? I said he claims he smelled smoke. He said, "Well if Ahmed says he smells smoke, he's going to charge for it. " I asked him if he smelled smoke and he replied "I have allergies and 3 dogs, I wouldn't be able to smell smoke if you blew it in my face" I asked about the manager, and he said "Ahmed is the manager/owner and I'm not sure why he told you otherwise. So basically, you have an owner/operator who lies about who he is and also charges customers additional, unwarranted fees because he can. I'm sure we're not the first customers he's done this to and probably won't be the last. You couldn't pay me to rent from this location or Avis/Budget EVER again. I will also report this to the corporate office, the BBB, and the FTC.

I rent a car from that location. They gave me a car with 1/2 of tank which is not convenient to use the car.
But when I return a can with 1/2 of tank they charge me for the full tank.
And when I ask them to return my money, they don't see that transaction. So, I paid $183 instead of $78

So, don't rent a car from that stupid car rental company

I rented my passenger van for a trip months in advance. I get dropped off today to pickup after having reservation confirmed and told they don’t have my car. They don’t offer a substitution. Don’t offer to call around. Priceline who I went through wasn’t of any help either. What a disaster. You can’t call and talk to anyone. Budgets customer service wasn’t of help. This is ridiculously frustrating.

I would pass on these guys. They ran my credit for a rental and for a week they wanted 900 dollars with deposit and insurance. Would have been more if I didn’t have the discount. They wanted an address and it had to be a bill. I’m renting a car not buying one. There are places cheaper then these guys.
