Build-A-Bear Workshop reviews
16Had to take the toddler to get her birthday bear the girls were so friendly and she really loved it.clothes are a little pricy but when you walk in you know its not gonna be a cheap trip lol we will continue going every year
Such a fun experience for kids. The prices are quite high but stuffing the bear, putting a heart into it, dressing it up and making a birth certificate is an extremely joyful experience for them. You're buying more than a stuffed animal when you come here, you're buying a memory.
I am giving 4 stars because one of the workers spoke to us like we were a burden. My daughters did not catch on because she was wearing a mask, but her body language and tone were both very unfriendly. Other than that my girls had a blast. The store was very organized, and clean which is always a plus.
What a horribly ran location. Got there at 11am when they were suppose to be open. Multiple other families and ourselves stood there for 40 minutes before a Belden Village Mall Employee told us all that no employees showed up for work. Ridiculous.
The ladies that were working were amazing, friendly and very helpful. I enjoyed the building process
They no longer will allow you to place a pacifier in your build-a-bear…. Drive up to Southpark and had no issues!
Plan on spending lol my daughter loves her new friends though so it was worth it, probably a better experience pre covid, but the sight of her skipping out of there with her pink bear in her backpack was priceless to me!
If I could give them six stars, I would! I visited with my wife, daughter, and grandson, and it was a wonderful experience. There were so many different stuffed animals to choose from, and the outfit selection was fun as well. My grandson gravitated to the dinosaur first, but because of their two bear discount, we were able to get him a classic bear as well. Sure it was pricier than just buying a standard bear off the shelf, but the point of it is the experience of shopping and customizing the bear, and I feel like that was worth the price that was charged.
This brings me to the staff. They were phenomenal. Like many, Covid restrictions have made their job more difficult, as controlling the flow of wandering children is key. To accomplish this, there are clearly marked "stations" for families to make their way through the store, and all of the staff wore appropriate PPE, many with bright colored choices to appear more fun. Every single staff member was warm and engaging to my grandson, and he had such a good time interacting with them. They were also super helpful in guiding us through which accessories worked with which animal, and highlighting some things that would be of interest based on his choices.
Thank you all for helping us make a treasured memory with our grandchild and our daughter. Keep up the fantastic work!
Friendly and helpful staff. Good selection. Birthday bear promotion always keeps us coming back.
Uhg! I hate coming here! The stuffed animals are OK, but the accessories just kill my wallet. Luckily this is a rare trip. It does put a smile on my kid's face though. If you can just get your kids the stuffed animals then you can get out of there for under $50. Good luck!
A friend and i went to celebrate my birthday and the staff were so kind and helpful! It was just as magical as i remember it being as a kid.while we didn't get to touch the hearts or stuff the bears ourselves it really did feel like we were involved in each step of the process.the store seems to have taken a hit because of covid-19, but we still had a great time!
It was fun going in and watching my grandson make his first bear and the sales clerk was very friendly and kind.
Not like it use to be, you get to do nothing. Don't touch the bear or you have to buy it. You don't get to give you bear a heart. But it's super ok for the employee to touch the smell that goes inside? Makes so much sense!
A few years ago this place was packed any time of day, now it's kind of dead. Sort of depressing. Last time I went the employees barely acknowledged us. I think business might be not so good, but I'm not sure. Either way the bears are still cute but a little overpriced. Enjoyed it when I was a kid.
I took my daughter and granddaughter and we had a blast, I think I had more fun than the baby did. Very friendly and helpful staff!
Employees are really nice and got us in even as they were closing and the bears me and my boyfriend got were so cute! They are really good quality too. They are my favorite stuffed animals. I would give it a 5 star rating but it's a bit pricey.
