Build-A-Bear Workshop reviews
17Really expensive but the kids love it. They make the experience fun for the kids and there are tons of clothes and accessories to pick from. They could have had more actual animals to pick, they were out of a lot of things but you can order things online too.
Currently in line for well over an hour because they are having a sale. Several employees just walking around and only one operator working the stuffing machine. With it being busy why not use the other 3 stations to get things moving?
Friendly and helpful staff. Don't care for the upsell without advising of the additional cost for literally everything. I do feel the bears and outfits are overpriced.my son loves it so I like it.
Ordered a bear for valentine's days, bit of a rush so I ordered it on 2-08-20 and paid the extra shipping to be sure I got it before the 14th.
It came on the 10th, except I ordered it dressed with a valentine's days shirt. Not only was it not dressed, but the shirt wasnt even there. I only ordered two things and got half the order.
I called and was on hold for over an hour, so gave up and hung up.
Sent an email to support and got no response other than the auto response confirmation that the email was received.
After days waiting for a response I waited until the 13th and drove 30 miles to the closest build a bear, where I was told that issue had to be sorted with a phone call.
So, after waiting another half hour to talk to someone they apologized and shipped a new shirt.
I got it today, the 28th.
Two weeks after valentine's day.
Thanks build a bear, it was be very unlikely for me to purchase from here again.
It's Build A Bear. Over priced teddy bears but it makes the kid happy.
Went in to get his birthday bear for 2 bucks (pay their age) and were told they are discontinuing the program because of people abusing it. Seen nothing online about it, so they still honored it. Not sure of policy now but I'd definitely check.
Employees are amazing with the kids. Plenty of things on sale and bears are decently priced for the experience. Kids loved it and were happy to put the hearts in their bears.
My daughter always loves Build A Bear. She wanted Light Fury from the new How to Train Your Dragon movie. It's kind of expensive to get anything there. It cost $52 for the dragon, a little T-shirt, a tutu, and a sound. She has about 10 different animals from there.
The worker that did the heart ceremony was Amazing! So Prophetic to Speak to these children and how their hearts stay warm, always high never low, on your cheeks cause your cute, on your ears cause you listen well, on your heart full of love.now give it a wish n put the heart in your Bear. WOW Thank you ladies for Declaring Words of LIFE thru our (grand) children! AbunDANCE for y'all!
Took my daughter to Build-A-Bear for the first time ever and she had a blast and admittedly I had a great time with her. The people working there were so helpful! It was just all around a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back again in the future
The employees are very friendly and great with the kids. My granddaughter always loves going there.
The kids really enjoyed their first visit to build a bear. The "idea" was great. All my "issues" arose from being a first timer! The store was not labeled well. We waited in a line for 15 minutes before being told we were in the wrong line and had to go to the 35 minute line on the other side of the store! Then there were only 2 employees for the entire store. One kept having to run from the register back to the machines to make animals. We figured something must have been wrong with staffing?
Why go to the toy store and buy a beer for someone when you can make it yourself and have more fun.
I ordered a Fluttershy from here for a good, new friend for Christmas. It not only arrived early, but it is brimming with stuffing! I was worried there might not be a lot of stuffing in it, but they did amazing. Everything was so well put together.
Love Build a Bear. It's a fun experience for the kids. It CAN get a bit pricey. Sign up for the rewards club to help get those coupons and discounts. They typically run sales and that's the best time to go.during a sale! It can get busy here, with long and slow moving lines.but the kids seem to enjoy the experience regardless. Weekdays seem to be the best times to visit or weekend mornings.
We were there Black Friday. Not overly busy. The wait line set up was confusing and we were charged twice for sound. The kids had a great time - that's what its all about.
Amazing staff and service but the price on extras clothing and accessories is crazy for a family trying to simply treat their child
Who doesn't love going to Build-A-Bear? Went there for the special Green Ranger bear. Also if you go during your childs birthday month you get the Birthday Bear priced at their age. They also run a deal where for every $25 you spend you can get a $10 gift card for $5.
