8The BMV office in Ashtabula is open for business and is processing requests with speed and efficiency. A receptionist greets you outside and sets you up in the queue for your request. Due to the Corona Virus no seating is available inside the office although there is limited bench seating outside. My request to renew my State of Ohio ID card was handled in less then 30 minutes without a problem.
I was there the first morning of reopening and the girls did an awesome job getting the long line of people in as quick as they could. Very organized!
Surprisingly quick experience. Went in to register two vehicles and was helped promptly by a friendly and pleasant employee.

Renewed my DL today. The staff was great. The "no number" system worked the way it was intended. For better personal service. Everyone is created when they walk in the door and asked how they can be helped. I worked with 2 different employees and they were both super friendly and knowledgeable.

Rude and incompetent are just the beginning of how I would describe the unbearable sloths that manage this foul BMV location. After having driven from NYS to take care of a problem with my vehicle they gave me the wrong information. Thanks, Sloths!
