What's point you all having a number system, my friend went in because his number got called to go into lobby to wait his turn (with about 20-25 people waiting outside) I went back to car to wait, over a hour went by and I got out to go see if something was wrong, because there was no one waiting outside, come to find out they had him waiting in lobby while they served everyone else. This is soo uncalled for, he already waited over a hour outside, for 5 minutes of service.

Every time I have some business at this office I have to wait for hours. It is not just once or twice, it’s been like this for many years. I feel like no employee at this office has sense of urgency or cares about people, starting with the office manager ending with almost all employees.

Customer service so rude

I never made it inside this place even though I went twice, so I can't comment on the service. However, I wanted to leave a review to let people know that you should never go here unless you absolutely have to. I'm 37 and I've never seen a BMV as busy as this place. I assume because they offer a lot of services. Both times I was there I waited over two hours (and that was with the online check in) and still left before my number was called. If you got here expect many hours of waiting.

My daughter passed her driver's test here after failing in Delaware. This course had more maneuvering room than the other one and the staff was really kind. Highly recommend for your teen driver.

Nick was probably the most knowledgeable staff member at a Government office of anyone I have ever had the joy of speaking with. Competent and articulate. The wait was longer than quoted but that seemed to be because few customers had the proper documents and then argued for 10 min about how they actually did have the proper documents. All in all. A great experience and worth asking for Nick by name.

I was at the hilliard dmv earlier today. I waited nearly 90 mins. Their has to be a better way to get everyone thru. About 25% of the people that came in after me dont think they knew to sign in to the kiosk. That being said once they called my number the customer service was awesome

I know most people shudder at the thought of going to a BMV, as I do too.but I will say my experience today won me over at the Hilliard BMV. I arrived to renew a 6+ month expired license, so I knew I had to do a lot. From the sweet gal on the test side to Aaron on the BMV side, everyone was tolerant, kind, funny, and made things happen as fast as possible. I know these workers deal with A LOT, so their kindness and help was appreciated. From start to finish I went from having an expired license to doing the vision test, knowledge road test, buying my permit, taking the driving road test and buy my license all within 1.5 hours - that's it. A huge shout out to Aaron there for being a great guy.

The old white lady with grey Short hair cut very rude and the old lady by door rude. Want ever go there again. Got better service on West broad street

This is the worst BMV. I’ve been waiting here for 2 hrs! The workers are so lazy and they move so SLOW! All they do is talk to each other. This isn’t the DMV IN CALI.this is wake Ohio so I’m not sure why there where so many people. Never coming here again

Longest wait time of any BMV locations. Go to W. Broad St. Even with the longer drive, you will save time.

They're switching to an online check-in system with a kiosk at the front corner of the store. Not only is there no indication that you need to sign in there, but once I did, I was told it would be a 35-minute wait. It ended up being an hour and 16 minutes for me. Meanwhile, the lady who arrived later and sat next to me was given a 48-minute wait, and she only waited about half an hour at most. She arrived after I did, was told a larger wait time than I was, and was helped long before I was. Do yourself a favor and find another location.

Sitting over an hour every time and skipped by their new online sign in each time. Miserable experience at both locations in hilliard. Wish I didn’t have to be here in person for a new compliant ID.

A few years ago this location was efficient and organized. They changes the setup so it forces the crowd to stand in a huge bunch, not a line, by the door while the rest of the room is empty. They very obviously did not care about the madness or discomfort of all the people waiting.

The customer service is horrible. I went to take my driving test and the driving exam inspector I had was Lowe. He was unnecessarily rude the entire time and talked about me to the other employees. Also the other employees didn’t seem to like him.

This place has a great worker named Christian. When you wait in line for hours, you notice things that stand out. He is professional, knowledgeable, and he treats everyone with respect and patience, even those who struggle to speak English. He multitasks and doesn’t miss a beat. Calm and efficient even with the pressure of the job. I’ve been in for two vehicles for titles and registrations. He apologized to me for an error than he did not personally make and handled my issue with class. Bravo. I’m sure he’s just being who he is and is not seeking kudos, but I just had to acknowledge him.

Went in early to renew my drivers licence b/c i was waiting with girlfriend anyway.they told me it would expire in 3 years instead of 4 since i was doing it early.when i received the id in the mail it the expiration date was the same as my old id.i contacted the BMV (government) and they told me this private business reissued my id (instead of renewed as they told me) so i'm out 2 hours and $30.

It’s ridiculous had me waiting for 1hr and serving people that just came after me. And the lady at window 2 would not try to understand me when i try to explain to her

I greatly appreciate the staff members for making my license renewal process so quick by allowing me to skip the line after having taken the written exam, stood in line to buy a permit, and finished the driving exam. They were also very friendly and nice to chat with while signing documents! The wait cannot be helped, but I much prefer this location over some others near my apartment.
