Burgers Ace Hardware reviews
17Theses folks are knowledgeable when you have a question about a project, they know exactly where things are stocked when you can't find something, and they almost always have lower prices than HD or Lowe's. Really no reason to ever go to another hardware store.
I can pretty much go anywhere to buy hand tools, light bulbs, leaf bags, extension cords etc.etc. However, I always go to Brugers Ace because of the customer service. The absolute best. Only one time the service was extremely rude, but I have not seen that person for a long while. Anyway, Ace is truly the place!
Literally just bought a snowblower went to charge the battery for the first time the charger and battery were faulty I called this place and they told me it’s out of their hands now I have to call the manufacturer. Do not deal with them definitely deal with a larger company like Lowe’s or Home Depot this place sucks.
The absolute rudest people I ever met in my life they act like they’re doing you a favor by selling you something stay away from the scum store
Always my stop for household maintenance needs. Sales people always willing to answer questions, make recommendations and be of assistance. As a widow trying to conserve on expenses by doing things myself ; they are the place I go.
Very helpful staff.i needed a chain link for a machine at work and i was in and out in 5 minutes
Small but very well stocked hardware store/more. Very handy to have close by. Prices seemed reasonable. Clean store and helpful staff.
Update: they "learned from my feedback" how better to respond in this situation. Not that they would do the right thing. So who knows what that means for a customer. I had my key blank cut at a locksmith for $30, so just go elsewhere for this type of thing.
Original review: Asked them to cut an automotive key, where I provided a high quality blank/enclosure, and my old internal electronics. I paid around $10 for it. It was completely assembled and just needed cut. I spoke with Chris. They refused to cut the key. They would only provide their own for $160. The reason given was that "they didn't know what my key was made of and it could damage their machine or cause an injury". Lol That's B. S, and we all know it, so I asked what their key was made of. And, can you believe it? He didn't know what their key was made of either. I asked "you understand how ridiculous that sounds? " and his response was "Yes". In summary that's a scam, and they knew it. You're not helping the fact that small family owned businesses are going away. Right now, you get 1 star. I'll change that if you ever become more relevant to me than a big box store.
Bought an Ego hedge trimmer within a few minutes of walking into the store. I was offered assistance before I could even start looking for the item for which I was shopping. Before I knew it, the associate looked on the computer and had one behind the desk. Took it up to the register, provided my phone number toe the clerk for rewards points and tapped my credit card for payment. The only criticism I have is that the cashier had the personality of a rock. Could be that I didn't tap my credit card in the correct place.
Great little hardware store very helpful staff friendly and knowledgeable many items for your home improvement projects plenty of more items for your yard work and grills for when you are done and want that perfect steak or burger
Wouldn't let me return an unused and unopened item I purchased a few days before even though I had a receipt. If I purchase something from lowes or home depot on their card I have ONE YEAR to return. What a joke this place is. Terrible and rude guy managing I also will add. Just don't even allow returns then you won't be false advertising.
Came in to buy paint but the associate was too put off to help me. Left and went to Depot. They were happy to sell me paint.
The staff here is very professional, courteous, and always willing to give their expertise and the items you need. They always know which items are located in the isles.always. Again they're super courteous and friendly. Keep up the great work staff your doing a fine job.
Shop and support local business, helpful and knowledgeable staff, and you Don't have to hunt for an employee, unlike the big box stores where you would be hard pressed to find one.
This is the place to go to get helpful knowledgeable service. So much better than the big box hardware stores
A fine hardware store. Close and convenient!
Helpful people that direct you with what you are looking for!
Shopped here for several years and never had an issue, but this rubbed me the wrong way. I purchased a shower head replacement that did not operate as advertised.a magnetic head that pops off to use as wand for $70. The issue with the head, is when you run water thru, the water projection angle drops and any attempt to adjust to the angle knocks the head off the magnet. I attempted to use this one time and found these issues. I removed, thoroughly cleaned (even used an air pump to push all water out of lines), and repackaged exactly as it was bought. When I attempted to return (less than a week from the time it was purchased), I was asked why and explained the reason. I was told because it was used, they couldn't take it back. I told them it was faulty product. They said I had to take that up with the manufacturer. It just bothers me, because there is no way of knowing how a product performs for an item like this, unless it is used.
