Busy Beaver of Ashtabula reviews
11I’ve had very slow and poor service here. The first time was when I placed a special order. It took about 20-25 minutes for the customer service representative to figure out how to place the order. They advised it would be about 4-6 weeks before the shipment would come in. I called at 6 weeks for an update, and well, it turned out they didn’t even send the order in to the company. Finally I got a call that my order was ready about 2 months after I placed it. I provided the receipt when I went to pick it up and the customer service representative said that the order is showing as not paid for in the system. They allowed me to take my order after about 20 minutes trying to figure out why the order was in the system the way it was. Needless to say, I will not be back.
Nice place. Like a small store version of Lowes or home depot. You can find most popular items for building, paint, and yard decorations. Easy in and out. Plenty of helpful employees. Clean restroom, but ask for the key before you walk to back room. They had mulch when others at big stores were out.
Lots of things you need in there. But the employees follow you around like your a criminal about to take something or they're just super bored either way goto home Depot they have a cheaper better selection
Great hardware store. Friendly and helpful staff. They offer vertern and Military discounts.
Unlike the blue and orange big box "hardware" stores. Who's website claims they have it at the store.only to have them say "we can order that for you online". So can I but from somewhere else and for less money but I needed it today not week from now.
Well BB maybe smaller but they had the stock on hand. No run around and does 9 times out of 10. Big Thumbs-up.
Family owned and operated. Very helpful employees. I shop there often. They have discount tables for great savings. No high pressure sales staff yet very helpful when you need them. Very pleasant and professional.
I always love going to Busy Beaver for all my house needs. The sales staff is the greatest helping me find my needs and giving great advice!
Busy Beaver is just up the road, it is a convenient place to shop for home improvement items and the workers are friendly they help you find everything you need for your project.
Bought paint on sale at 15.99. Painted my bathroom only used one coat of paint turned out beautiful, plane on going back for more before sale ends.
I called before i came in for a item and the old lady manager with the glasses and blonde hair switch up her story and said i never talked to her. She rude and should not be a manager. Home depot from now on just 5 min extra away
I am and always will be supportive of small businesses. Small minds are another issue. On Saturday april 4 I stopped for spray paint. While shopping I and every other customer got to hear this very butch woman yelling at a customer. His attitude seemed a little irritated but nothing warranted the verbal abuse he was getting. Unfortunately no one said a word to the drill sergeant. 15 min later she attacked me. I put my 3 50 lb bags of play sand in my car no help from the employee doing head counts at the door. I received the text telling me I need semi and not the gloss I had purchased. So the bag never entered my car or left the parking lot. I asked if I could exchange the paint and was screamed at for the entire store to hear "no returns". Understood. The screaming was belligerent and disrespectful. I left wondering if stress or a total lack of the necessary training and people skills required to handle your treatment of a customer. Something says this wasn't her first time acting in this way. Not that my 'colorful" word choice was adult or anything I would endorse. Come at me screaming and I scream back. Never ever have I been screamed at Lowe's. Damn, Beaver you need to Busy your employees proper customer/manager etiquette. Or at least when u should use your indoor and outdoor voices.
