1sf time buying from them and it was actually a pleasant experience. Will definitely be looking at them for the next purchase.

My son bought a new car and we traded in our MB C Class as part of the deal. 2 months later and Beyers still hasn't paid off the balance of our trade in and MB is coming after me. A nightmare. Don't buy cars here.

And, I call to try to resolve the issue and it goes to a VM box that won't take more messages. Can't ever get ahold of the GM. Salesperson is useless and Subaru America refers me back to the dealer and says its not their problem.

I left this dealership feeling put-down and very disappointed.
I visited this dealership last Saturday to look at the Toyota Camry TRD they have for sale.

I walked up to the car and a sales rep walked over. The sales rep says hi and then after I tell them I saw the car online and I came to look at it, he says "Oh yeah, this car is awesome. I drove it a couple days ago. But, let's not waste each other's time here. Did you come to buy or just look at it? "

I was really confused at how aggressive they were being. He brought out the key and opened the car and started it up. After sitting inside it I asked if I could test drive it.

The rep then says, "well, we usually don't let just anybody drive expensive sports cars like these. We are going to need to talk numbers and financing first and maybe you can drive it. "

Again I was super confused at how aggressive they were. I simply said "no thanks", turned around and left.

I don't understand why Byers policy is encouraging the sales reps to be this aggressive with potential customers.
I don't understand why the rep was allowed to drive the "expensive sports car" if they didn't run their own numbers or plan to buy it?

Ironically enough, the car is still sitting on the lot and aging.

I have some advice for Byer's top management, even though they will see this and just laugh: I know you are an independent business and you are able to treat customers however you want, but making customers feel like they are being an inconvenience if they are not 100% sure that they are buying a car that same day- is not the right thing to do. Also, touting that your "expensive sports cars" cannot be driven unless they talk numbers/financing and make a deal before driving it- is not the right thing to do.

Considering the soon approaching car market crash. I would think that they would be less aggressive towards customers. I think the fact that the car is still sitting on the lot after a month is a true testament to bad policy and a looming car market crash.

A thank you goes out to Pat Biles and Christian Quezada. I was contacted by Christian and he offered sincere apologies for what happened. As the Sales Manager he swiftly remedied the situation at hand and offered up an apology. I am more than satisfied with the way Christian handled my complaint. Accountability is important and Beyers Subaru Dublin demonstrated accountability with follow through. There was a mishap with the car being pulled off the lot for a test drive before going through service. Hopefully in the future they implement a checklist of some sort to ensure all vehicles do not miss steps before going on the lot for sale. Business relationship management is one of the attributes that separates a top tier business from a mediocre one. Cars do not last forever so repeat customers are a plus for car dealerships. This was my second purchase from Beyers so I was expecting a certain level of customer service. So when I did not receive that I was very disappointed. Not only that but I spoke highly of this location to my uncle who in turn brought his daughter and later my aunt to this location to also purchase Subarus. So I am glad that they made the concerted effort to make this right.

First visit I went to look at an 2015 Outback. The first salesman (forget his name) set me up for a test drive. After the test drive I asked what could he tell me about the car and he said the car had just arrived but that new brakes were going to be put on. I ended up leaving and was contacted later by the same sales representative about the car and I mentioned that I was interested in discussing it further for a possible deal. He stated that he would reach back out after He talked with the manager. He never did. I went back and ended up speaking with sales representativeJohn and I asked him about discussing the car and a potential deal and he said they don’t really do negotiations because they are already competitively priced. I asked if the brakes had been fixed already and what else did they do to the car upon its arrival and he responded with we make sure all our cars are checked and up to par before putting them out for sale.
I called on July 31st to make a deal and ended up purchasing the car. Initially I was a 3 out of 5 stars with the service received because I did not feel like I was being taken seriously until my attitude changed. Today I am at zero out of 5 because today August 2nd I took the car to have a Subaru dealer diagnostic and was advised of a list of repairs. Out of those repairs the brakes needing replaced were on the list. In addition the wheel bearing replacement both sides with backing plates, differential flush front and rear, and brake flush. Over 3K worth of work has to be done immediately on a car I just brought off the lot. This car is for my daughter and as a mother I do not feel comfortable with this purchase. Disappointed in this entire experience.

Took our legacy there to get an oil leak fixed. They said it doesn't have an oil leak. Drive it home and less than 5 minutes I had oil on the garage floor. The service department is terrible.

I needed parts. Although they checked, the part they told me did not come. They took the price as a set, but there was only 1 small plastic piece. I had to pay again for the materials I needed.

We dealt with Theresa for our vehicle purchase and she was hands down the best salesperson I’ve dealt with. She took care of us above and beyond all expectations and really treated us like we were her only and most important customers. Very highly recommend Byers Dublin and most importantly, Theresa.

Brought our car in for routine maintenance before a big trip. They were able to get us taken care of in less time than expected.

Great experience, I had a normal oil change, cabin-filter replacement and tire rotation, Byers had me back on my way in about 30 minutes, and for about the same price as the quick-lube places, thanks, Byers!

During a more recent service-visit to replace my navigation/entertainment system under extended-warranty, three months were required due to "supply-chain issues, " so, be aware this may become a factor within servicing your Subaru.

Poor experience at Dublin (good experience at Airport where we have bought 2 Subarus). The pre owned center had a low mile WRX GT that my wife and I were interested in driving to see how we liked the model. Called the salesman Jorge twice that day to check availability and let him know we are coming out for a test drive. It's about an hour from our house to get to Dublin, didn't want to risk it. The car was beautiful, truly immaculate even if the red was way too much in person. However, what they failed to mention over the phone is a "policy" that we must agree on numbers/purchase and run a credit report (-3 points) to have a test drive. If that's your rule mention it up front, save us the trip. Not to mention, this isn't an exotic car and I'm pushing 40, this rule seems a little extreme when all you need to do is turn in a claim on my insurance.

In any case, long story short, we didn't test drive the WRX. When I do (somewhere else), we will probably order a new one. Their loss.

Update: Adding 2 stars as Mackenzie called and offered to accommodate us for the experience. The follow up and customer service was much better than our first experience.

I have been a customer of Byers Dublin Subaru for 20 years and I enjoy the interaction with the people working there. They are a pleasure to work with.

We didn't buy our Outback from Byers, but we've brought it here for service and the customer service we've received has been nothing short of incredible. They've continued to go above and beyond for us and have done things for us that I'd only expect them to do if we'd bought a brand new car from them. They've certainly made a customer for life, we won't look anywhere else for service or a new Subaru besides Byers Dublin!

Btw Matt is the absolute best, a total rockstar employee through and through!
