Camp Bow Wow reviews
12My son has taken his dog here for a very long time. I never had been there until yesterday. Very nice place now I know why his dog, Obie loves going there so much. Nice to know that he is taken very good care of! He is a very special dog to all of us, including"Grandma"
Mixed reviews on this place. Some things are good while some aren't. They still let aggressive dogs come and I know that there are a lot of times where they have to break up fights and inform owners that their dog has gotten attacked by another dog. It's also because the employees aren't actually trained to attend to dogs they just stick people in the yards and expect them to know how to keep the dogs in line. They also over book a lot so there's too many dogs and of course there's also aggressive dogs there so some dogs never go out because they can't be near other dogs and the dogs come here so they don't have to be locked in cages but they usually end up anyways.
They just need to have a better system of how they do things and actually train the workers to handle dogs because handling a big group of dogs by yourself is difficult unless you know what you're doing and you should always have two people in the yards and instead of just spraying dogs with water to make em before having two people can be helpful because then your not rushing to get to the house while another dog has another dog by the throat.
And dogs have bitten other dogs so badly before where they need to be looked at medically and some dogs have even bitten the workers but the boss doesn't care too much about that and still allows aggressive dogs back.
I was very hesitant to put my dog in boarding while we went on vacation. This place made it very easy to relax and trust them. Cameras in the building was nice. Was able to check in when I wanted to.
The highlight of Foggy’s week is going to school on Wednesdays. Everyone gives him so much love from the moment he walks in the door and I feel so safe leaving him for the day with people I know care about him.
I have used CBW multiple times and always had a happy dog at the end of a stay! Love seen by my dog on the webcams. The one time there was a questionable interaction between dogs the manager called me and was very transparent and apologetic. I’ve never second guessed having a trustworthy place to board my dog!
Love that the dogs play all day, that I can watch them on the video cams, the place is kept clean. My dogs were clean, happy, and tired when I picked them up!
Great! Caring staff and what a huge variety of dogs under that roof! The staff is great at wrangling all the pups!
Excellent daycare and boarding for dogs! Staff and friendly and dogs are well loved. The owner and staff were so accommodating with us and our pup as we passed through town on our road trip. Highly recommend!
I have full trust in Camp Bow Wow's ability to keep my puppers safe, on schedule, and provide the attention he needs while I'm away. The staff has never been anything except helpful and delightful to work with. And, my pupp loves going - when we pull up he barks and goes crazy wanting to get out and play with the other doggies.
My girls love coming to camp! I like that I can check on them through the pup-cams during the day and they come home happy and tired! We have them bathed regularly at camp as well and the shampoo they use smells great. Kathy, the manager, was so accommodating when I needed to plan to bring the girls at an unknown date around the birth of our child also. The only thing I would love to add to their experience at camp is camera options for the overnight facilities and dog beds or raised cots for the play areas. One of our girls is a giant breed and approaching her geriatric years and we worry that so many hours standing on concrete without the option of a comfy bed will force us to limit her camp days soon. Overall, I trust the staff and have enjoyed our time at Camp Bow Wow Grandview.
My dogs love Camp Bow Wow! And I love that they come home exhausted. The employees are so kind and you can tell really love animals. I feel my pets are safe and happy here! Great prices too.
