Campbell Cove Campground by Lake Logan in the Hocking Hills

Great camp ground. Restroom and showers like a hotel. They even pick up your trash and delivery firewood or ice. Just get camp sites by the lakw looks great.

Save yourselves vacation heartbreak, don't camp here. It really sucks!

The swimming hole is deep emerald green! Fire wood is a rip off, 6-8 very thinly chopped pieces of wood = $6.burns in 20 minutes.

You'll camp on top of your neighbors lap, everything is that close!

Overall I am very happy with this location. The sites are great and the amenities are amazing. The showers have an enclosed, spacious toilet as well. Lots of games for the kids.their firewood price was great and the wood is very hard wood that burns a long time. What prevents the 5 stars is simply that the address is not accurate due to what appears to be expansion. Their website calls out they are across from the Holiday Inn but their confirmation email does not. The visibility at night is not good, so finding the place in the dark is very difficult. Once in the park, again in the dark especially, the different roads are not labeled for each section of the park so it is hard to find your site. I have still gone there three times and will continue to do so. It is right off the expressway so very convenient for me, which I often do just one night stays on my way further south.

DO NOT use this campground. If you have an emergency come up they will not refund your money, however they will allow another camper to fill the space and get paid TWICE on the same slip. Money grab.

Overall best campground I've been to in Logan and Ohio. In the evening the staff come to drop off wood, and take your trash for you. The nice older gentlemen even gave me a small free bundle because I didn't have any cash on me. They have clean bath houses and even an arcade and souvenirs in the office. Staff service is 110%.
You can't go wrong with lakefront camping. We'll be back next year.

The young gal at check in was awesome. My husband was having trouble with the water hydrant. She knew exactly how to explain the solution. They have a leash policy but no leash police screaming at you if God forbid your dog is sitting by you without one. Plenty of places to walk. There is a lake and a swimming area. It’s spotless. Plenty to do if you have kids. We shall return

This is CRAMPING in grand Central station!
Camp sites are on top of each other, people constantly come and go till 10: 30-11pm.
Absolutely no privacy, is a dog friendly place. If you care to hear barking all day. The swimming lake is EMERALD GREEN. This is not the place as seen online.

Portapot style facilities appear to have not been emptied in a month. Stink, wet, urine covered and feces on the floor. Totally nasty!

Firewood $6.bundle for "logs" about an inch thick rough cut board, 6 to 8 pet bundle, pine, burns very fast.
7lb bags of ice, $5. Each. This is a rip off.

The water is emerald green and there's no fish. Catch seaweed!

By all means, go to the state park this place is just here to get your money.

We did not have a good time here.

Nice campground but people FLY through the sites in their cars. Cars easily going 25mph while my children were playing out by the cabins. Not sure why these campers feel the need to speed through there so fast.

They told me they did not have the availability beyond a one week stay, I am in need of a longer time frame. I made a reservation on Aug 4 for the week of the 15th. I cancelled on the 13th- 48 hrs prior to my arrival. I had found a campground that allowed a longer stay and the bonus of a cheaper rate. Apparently you must cancel more than 7 days prior to your reservation or they will keep the full amount charged for your week stay! The weekly rate was $435 which is double than other parks. So be prepared and plan accordingly - I’m not happy giving away that much canceling at 48 hours prior to my stay! NO such notice on the email reservation OR within the Reservation Summary when I clicked on the link. I was told it’s on the website, but the reservation was made via telephone.

They have just recently opened, but seem to be doing it right! The showers are in individual bathrooms. Extremely clean! Nicely laid out. Sites are level. Nice playground and bounce pad for kids. Fishing and swimming ponds. Also adjacent to lake. Really nice facility with game room, ping pong, air hockey etc, friendly staff. Conveniently located right off US 33, but we haven’t heard any highway noise.

I just first want to say that the employees are great and everything was very clean. This was our first camping experience and if this is how camping grounds are-we will never do it again. We had two little kids and couldn’t sit outside by our fire that the kids helped build. We had people smoking pot all around us. It got to the point at 11pm we made the almost three hour trip home. My kids were very upset! We loved visiting HH and wished we could’ve gotten up to hike some more. The 10pm quiet time is not enforced. It was like a big party. Every site is like camping on top of one another.

Nice place, although there was some confusion about our arival. Someone gave us the goahead to check in but apparently they made a mistake.

Nice Campground. Would stay again. They need to upgrade the WIFI though. Could not connect the whole trip.

Absolutely the best campground so far this season! Friendly staff, clean bath house, beautiful sites. Can't complain. Will be going back for sure.

We've been planning a trip to Hocking Hills for over 6 months and my friend & I booked this beautiful campground to spend. The service was outstanding as I wanted to spend an additional day to check out the area and spend more time with my friends. They made the experience great by helping extend the visit without any additional stress. The Cabin was GREAT. Very clean, comfortable bed, a great AC, a nice sized mini fridge. The bathrooms were very clean and looked brand new. The lake was stunning. For a campground this exceeded my expectations and would recommend this campground to all who are considering to stay here when visiting Hocking Hills. A+ all around.

This is our 1st time here. It's a very clean and we'll kept campground. The staff are friendly and helpful We came to see meteor showers ️ that didn't happen because of all the rain ️️. We're going to try golfing today, I've never been a person who has golfed. This awesome campground has a clean well stocked office where you can find just about anything you're looking for. It also has Lake Logan, a swimming pond, fishing pond, playground for kids, a bounce pad, game room. Alot of fun for any and all ages! Cutest Most Simple cabin. Very peaceful and right around the corner from Lake, Shops and restaurants. 2021 is our 3rd Time staying! Wonderful place! Campground has grown since our last time! The staff are very wonderful!
