We didn't really know what to expect until we got there. The fact that we had to bring so much stuff to stay in a small tree house had me second-guessing it. It turned out to be a really fun weekend, and we will definitely go back in warmer weather. There is a micro brewery on site, but we didn't get anything to drink. Nice large area with swings and chairs to have a fire, but no alcohol is permitted outside which is understandable if kids and families are staying. All in all, we had a fun time with basic necessities and no TV for two days. I highly recommend this place!

Stayed at "The Nest". The space is very cozy. I would really like to stay there in the spring or early summer.

BYOB: Bring your own bedding

My mom and I stayed in The Loft for her birthday, as it's close to her house and been on her bucket list since they were built. In summary it's a great place if you bring kids, not so much if you don't.

It's a weird mix of hotel and cabin camping. Huge fridge, microwave, pizza oven, but have to walk elsewhere for bathroom and even further for shower, bring your own water and bedding, no real amenities beyond binoculars in the room (ex Keurig with no cups).

- BRING YOUR OWN BEDDING - that was definitely not listed in the very lengthy instructions, good thing mom lives close by

- bring your own water too and utensils etc

- no kindling or firestarter for the communal fire pit, so bring those or hope someone else did if you want a fire

- close to town so you'll hear trains and airplanes all night, not a very emersive woodland experience

- couldn't figure out the internet, but there definitely was some because of the smart tv

- the tree flooring in the loft was not good, very uneven and slippery in socks, big hazard for small kids and older adults

- no curtains up in the loft bed, and the stairs to get up there were steep and slippery and noisy

- beds were very very very firm

It's pretty obvious that the place was built for looks not function (for example ceiling fans couldn't stay on without the lights being on).

If you have kids this is a great place to let them run around and have fun, but if you're childless go to a real treehouse through Airbnb in Kentucky or Tennessee that has better views and plumbing, for similar pricing. That's on our bucket list now, since this one was disappointing.

Combination of loud overnight noise coming from jets taking off from the nearby airport, and freight trains going through town every 15 minutes.
If you want to stay here, reserve the houses over platforms, even if it’s a solo trip like mine.
Accommodations for outdoor camping are top-notch unique, but awful location.
Shower locks were confusing; top deadbolt was broken, so people walked in while in use.
Worth the reservation though, as the entire place looks great, and is worth bragging about to friends!

This was our anniversary gift to each other! What a great way to sit back and relax in nature! I did not post all the pictures I wanted to so that way you can go see for yourself how awesome these little tree houses up to the big tree houses are! Kid friendly, and CLEAN! No pets, no smoking 25ft from tree houses, so you don't have to worry about that! They do provide a small fridge with a freezer, microwave, electric grill (outside), and a sink. Also, bring your own linen and water! Not far from town either! Beds were SO COMFY

They are never available! I’ve literally been trying to book for so long, but no matter what dates I put in it’s always unavailable.

Very cool experience. The Nest treehouse was very nice. Bed was ok. Couple things to note, there is a lot of walking and up and down stairs and bathrooms are at front entrance not in treehouses.

What an amazing place! Rented the village for a staff retreat and loved it. Treehouses were clean and swanky, walkways were sturdy and well-maintained. Only downside is they had to remove all of the composting toilets in the treehouses because people weren’t using them properly, so be prepared for a short walk to the bathrooms. Would definitely go back again. Highly recommend

Loved our stay at the 4 person Hub, Saturday April 15th. One queen bed in a room and one is up steep steps to the loft are. Toilet was removed, hopefully they will be able to work something out with that. Bathrooms are a short walk up through the village. Very quiet and relaxing surroundings! Community firepit was nice with plenty of places to sit and firewood provided. Heat and air conditioning were a great plus, small kitchenette with decent size fridge/freezer, microwave and keurig coffee maker. We ate at heavy wheelhouse food truck saturday night and had coffee there in the morning. Such a beautiful place to stay!

The Hub had the composting toilet removed. Very nice cabin with fridge and microwave. Electric outdoor grill on deck. Space to park bikes by front door. The coffee shop/brewery hosts food trucks on weekends. High winds were forecasted for my stay. Aside from a few sways you couldn't tell it was windy. Park office called to let us know we could reschedule if we wanted due to wind.
Bathrooms were kept clean and heated. Showers were very nice located by brewery.

The treehouse was beautiful! Our only complaint was a loud noise that kept us awake all night, like a cable snapping or tightening outside the master bedroom

Very cool experience. Loved being out among the trees. Very clean. Bathrooms only a 2 minute walk.

Beautiful, quaint, off the main drag and controlled by the park rangers. Great fire pit. Awesome lighted walkways.
Would recommend for a night or two, not more.
