Captain D's, Newark OH

This place has turned around into the Captain Ds it use to be. Good Food at a good price. Nice and clean too.

The food was cooked perfect, fish and chicken size have gotten thinner. Main issue I seen was the fountain drink rack and tub was disgusting.looks like it had mold in it. Several tables needed wiped down. The person had plenty of time as no one else was there and she just left the dining room spot sweeping.

The absolute worst service I have ever experienced showed up to the speaker exactly 5: 58 pm and sat at the window till 6: 25 pm not sure why it took them so long on an order for 2 people there was 3 workers in front from what I could see and 1 girl was just standing in front eating and playing on her phone if she was on break she should've been in back somewhere or maybe even in lobby at a table not sitting in front by the counter stuffing her face where customers can see then another girl was playing on her phone as well and as there was a line building up the girl that was supposed to be taking orders took off the headset and by the time we got the food the lady handing it out had the nastiest look on her face and for what damn reason all we did was order our food and wait patiently at the window even said thank you when we got the food but for whatever reason she just wasn't having it hell even on my worst days I was never that disrespectful to customers where I used to work and we had way less staff then they did here and we still managed to get orders out fast and without an attitude definitely won't be wasting our time here ever again and damn sure don't recommend coming here unless they get better workers I just hope the food is worth it considering how long it took to prepare I know 1 thing for certain that it definitely isn't worth all that disrespect

Food and service was great. It was like eating in a freezer today. We were there eating inside with at least another 20 customers who were also complaining because it was so cold in there. They said the thermostat was set on 70 and they couldn't touch it. Sorry, it was like an ice box in there today.

Haven't been to a Captain D in 20 years. It was great. The service was great. The man taking my order was very helpful.

This company is offering a new product call "extra crispy fish tenders". I was unable to find anything in the advertising for this product that says they use Cajun type seasonings, or that it is in any way spicy. Caution This product is spicy!

Was shorted a 10 piece fish meal. Called and they said we gave it to you. We got 2 orders of hush puppies instead of only one and one 10 piece fish instead of 2. The manager refused to make it right. Not coming back.

I came here a year ago and I gave this location a 4 star. I really enjoyed the food. This time the food wasn't up to par and the drinks wasn't even good. The Pepsi was a diet Pepsi and the sweet tea wasn't sweet. I was very surprised about the food. The food didn't taste right. The coleslaw did t taste correct and the crab was peppery. The fish seemed extra greasy but the shrimp was correct.

Some of the best fish we have had in a long time! Cooked so well.fresh, hot, and delicious. Service was wonderful.

I always enjoy fish from Captain D's! As a child we would go on Sundays. It hasn't changed in years.

Kinda like Long John Silver's, but the opposite. Their fish is absolutely the best money can buy in the fast food realm

Had good meal. Wife had Southern fried fish and corn. I had large shrimp and green beans and cole slaw. Good service and priced resonably
