Captain D's, Defiance OH

Fish and chips. Malt vinegar. My favourite. Have never been dissatisfied with the food. Friendly staff and good service make Capt. D's good to go, in my book. Thanks!:)

First time eating here. Girl working the counter was very helpful. We had the ultimate seafood meal to go. Everything was good and I definitely will be back.

Food was really bad the french fries was cold in hard the mac and cheese didn't even taste like mac and cheese I will never eat there again

My orders have not been right since we had to go to curbside only. The staff don't even stick around to make sure your order is right. I ordered a 3 piece with ff and a baker for my dad and got beans and corn. I will not be back to their curbside again. It is always wrong this was just an example of 1 of my visits. And there have been many visits, this was my dad's and my favorite place to eat together when I came to town. If I could have gave them a 0 I would have.

Unexpected decent sized portions, relaxed atmosphere, and everything is always cooked to perfection.

Love Captain D's. Love the food. There is one young lady that takes our order and she is super. If the other employees had her kindness and traing it couldn't go wrong. Can we have the plastic utensils back please.

Received my food fast. It tasted pretty good. I liked the breading. It had a good flavor. The price was a little high for what you get, but I wouldn't hesitate going to Captain D's again.

There is no word to convey the sublime experience I had at this fine establishment, so I'm forced to invent (steal) one. Scrumtrelescent. Captain D's is scrumtrelescent.

There food is about average and the drive thru is slow, the prices are about average, overall its a decent place to eat lunch or dinner especially if youre craving seafood

Awful food and service. Food was greasy and bland. The chicken was pink and undercooked. I will never eat there again

It has been awhile since eating at a Captain D's.
Country style was a little watery and not crispy like I remember it.
Green beaks and mac and cheese still very tasty.

Very good meal as always fresh hot and delicious. The restaurant was busy but food came out fast and excellent customer service!

The manager who kept coming up and repeatedly asking if everything was ok, went way overboard with that. That cured me wanting to eat here for a long time.

Poor service, told employee cocktail sauce was out took her 10 minutes to replace, and she only checked and replaced that sauce. Another employee had to come out less than 5 minutes later and fill 3 more and this was after our 15 minute wait on our food.

Good fast food restaurant. Longer wait than average if there are customers ahead of you, worth the wait.

Good for quick seafood. Like that they have a grilled selection along with the traditional fried selections. The sides are varied and include broccoli an baked potatoes.

Too much pepper on my shrimp. Don't know about peeling my own skin off shrimp. Ate here a lot before, not sure if I'd order shrimp like that again. Like the new design. Decor.

I appreciate how they use real silverware and plates to cut down on plastic and trash.drinks could be included with dinners though

Great for the price. They went 'green' with actual silverware and cafeteria style trays. Try 'country style' fish for a lighter corn meal batter!
