I brought in my car to get fixed as the check engine light was on they told me they did an inspection and that nothing was wrong with the car. I asked to check again because I had known it at-least had an oil leak and issues with the spark plugs from another mechanic. After checking it again they confirmed that there was an oil leak and the spark plugs were burnt and that it would cost $1000. I decided to only fix the oil leak for $670 but asked them to check again for any other issues because I could barely afford fixing the oil leak, and they said no other issues. After it took 1 week to fix an issue that was meant to take 1 day. I picked up the car and after 20 minutes of driving it the check engine came back on. When I sent it back the next day they said that now the issue was that the car needs a new catalytic converter and that the part alone would cost me $1000. When I confronted the person I had been dealing with he claimed "this is how it goes with fixing cars and you might not always know what's wrong". YOUR MECHANIC SHOULD REALLY KNOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE CAR THEY ARE FIXING.he also claimed that the car might have developed this problem during the 20 minute drive from CarX to my home. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Update: I contacted customer service several times; they are always unavailable. #Carxisascam

The new guy Brendel was awesome. I had to bring my car in for some work axel, control arm etc. Also, i had to mention my brakes that was fixed about two months ago by Car-X had to bring my car back three times because of the same issue. Brendel was absolutely helpful and he made me want to come back to Car-X even after a bad experience.

I cannot thank the store manager enough, Ronny Morgan. I was in a bind last wkend of March2020- tires in our Flex were so worn out they could compromise safety. The replacement tires needed were not in stock, Ronny called their supplier and 3 hrs after, they were delivered, installed and road-tested. You and your crew are a credit to your trade, Ronny!

Friend of mine, Tom is the manager, he did excellent work in a decent timely manner. Went for replacing all 4 tires and he found that both tire rods needed to be changed before they snapped. Thank goodness because I have 4 children who depend on this car as well. Drives so much smoother and we feel safe now as well. Thanks Tommy

Good service at a reasonable price. No fear of getting ripped off, at least so far that’s my experience has been.

If it’s something small, they’ll sometimes won’t even charge you. A couple times they fixed issues for free that other mechanics quoted $20 or more. The current manager, Cory is great.

I recommend making an appointment first to save time.

From the time I arrived this a.m until I left this location I received “the best” customer service one could ask for. Both the District Mgr&Asst Mgr were simply fantastic! Very knowledgeable, pleasant, and extremely helpful in getting my vehicle issues resolved. Thank you! Job well done!

Dropped our car off on Thursday evening. It was driving poorly. We never heard from any1 so we called Sat and was told it needed a tuneup. Then on Monday they called to tell us it needed a mass air flow sensor which would cost over $200 not including labor. We told them to do the tuneup only, which we were quoted $334 (seemed high) and told it would be done Tuesday. We call a little after 5 Tuesday and are told all 4 of our boots are broken in the spark plugs. My husband asked why no one called us and the very rude unprofessional assistant manager informed us he was busy. He then told my husband it would be between $450/$650 to fix! I call back and asked for more details as it was confusing to why we weren’t called and a tuneup takes 5 days. He informed me “stuff happens” then told me the price was high because we needed additional parts and the valve covers needed removed (neither were needed) put me on hold to get an accurate estimate for 11 mins and then refused to pick up the phone. After I repeatedly called back he still had no estimate and told me I wasn’t listening that he was busy. How do u have a car 4 a tuneup for 5 days but, no1 called us once and u can’t even give us an estimate? I was at the location at opening to meet the store manager who informed me he thought the car was done and the assistant manager has a customer service issue he has discussed with him. Clearly their discussion didn’t fix his unprofessionalism. I was given the same quote ($334) originally given to us by the manager who seemed clearly aware his assistant manager was rude. When I asked why he told us that more parts were needed and parts needed taken off the manager informed me he didn’t know why I was told this but that he could remove the broken 2 (not 4) boots with needle nose pliers? So after being lied and hung up on the day before we received $25 off but then get the print out to see we were charged a $98 diagnostic fee. We have went to CarX for many years and NEVER been charged a diagnostic fee if we had the work done there. When my husband questioned it they basically called him a liar even though the assistant manager told him the same thing when we dropped the car off. I would not waste your money or sanity by taking any vehicle here again. The only thing that was decent about this experience is I do believe the manager spent extra time getting the broken boots out and didn’t charge for the extra labor but considering they charged us a diagnostic fee we have never been charged at CarX I guess you could say they did charge us. The sad part is I’m sure the assistant manager will still continue working there even though the manager has received many complaints and has other issue regarding his attitude and lack of professionalism. I also contacted corporate last Tuesday and still have not gotten a response. We will steer clear of all CarX from here on out

I wasn't really there to get my tires checked or an oil change, I met a private seller there that was selling his car, he used to work there and he used the car lifter so I could see how clean the vehicle was underneath. I didn't end up buying it, because the settlement the other guys insurance gave me wasn't enough to pay for what the guy wanted.

However, if you're buying a used car, that be a great place to meet a private seller so the car could be lifted up and see how good or bad it has truly been taken car of!

Horrible customer service. I had to constantly get someone’s attention to get an update on my car. No one explained what exactly was fixed on the car. I waited a total of 4 hours and 30 minutes.

Terrible customer service. Paid to have my right rear wheel bearing replaced, and it was replaced with a defective part. My car sounds worse now than it did before I brought it in for service. Will not be returning.

Lance was awesome. He no longer works here. I will probably not come back. He is the only one who is honest about his work there. Every other time I've been quoted a price its outrageous. Last time I was here, I didn't get work done because of the price. When I picked up my truck after hours. My door was not only unlocked, but it was open. With my keys sitting in the center console.

Jonathan, the manager, is great. I took my car in for an oil change and he noticed a problem with the right front bearing and hub, which was likely due to a prior accident on that side. No one else had noticed it before, and he showed me the problem in person. He fixed it for a reasonable price and also took care of some tire issues I was having for free. Definitely recommend this place!

I stopped in because I was trying to sell my car to a guy and the license plate bolts were rusted on. Having already failed to get them off myself and desperate to complete the sale and get on with my day, I stopped in to ask for help. The guy behind the desk promptly grabbed a vise-wrench from the garage and had them off within a minute. I really appreciate the help even though I wasn't there for service.

They did everything they could to fix my car and only charged me for a diagnosis when it turned out it was too much to fix; didn't even get mad when it took me 2 weeks to get it towed away from their lot. Super helpful, definitely recommended
