I absolutely love this place as a retired chef that always used catanese as my fish market. I got a 5 star treatment on my family’s king crab order. I can’t wait to go back and stock up my freezer. My 4 lbs of king crab legs was amazing keep up the good work on being the top fish market in Cleveland in my eyes

Came to your store to buy seafood. A metal young lady by the name of Melle Who was absolutely wonderful she’s very knowledgeable of Cleveland area and helped me in every aspect she is a keeper, I am from Washington DC I was looking for some good seafood and she was so on point thank you Mellie have a wonderful wonderful day.

Get there early and you will view the premier case and the largest selection of fish anywhere. It's literally delectable!

We picked up sashimi, salmon and tuna very good will be back. They have a good variety of seafood and meats.

Colin was absolutely fantastic. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Had everything I need to make Cioppino. Fabulous service. Very clean shop. Will definitely go back. Wonderful selections. Was thrilled to find fried frozen oysters and clams.

I love the fresh tuna fish salad taste so much better than in the can and the guy behind the counter he knows how to cook the tuna and prepare the salad. A1

Not much of a selection and the oder from old fish was so overwhelmimg that it made it hard to stay for long. Fresh seafood is something I love and in Tarpon Springs and the Tampa Bay area I'm used to being around amazing fresh seafood. This was a far cry from what I am used to experiencing.

We got some pretty fresh whole branzino fish from there and tried the clam chowder soup which was delicious. They have fresh oysters, Mussels, smelt fish, squid, and even frozen soups. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I have been coming here since day 1 of the Classic brand, I have never, I repeat NEVER had a bad product or a hard time. Questions are answered and you don't feel like they are talking down to you. The Clam bakes if you follow their directions are top notch, 100% excellent, fresh product, easy to follow directions, and all the amenities you will need are there. As long as they are there so am I

I called and spoke with Melly. They were sold out of whitefish, but she took my info and set me up with an order. Received it 2 days later, when promised, packed beautifully in ice for my trip back to Columbus. Bought grouper and assorted other items from counter. Honestly, Cantanese is the BEST fish market and well worth the drive to Cleveland. Everyone is so nice, understanding and efficient. I’ll be back!

All the fish was rotten and smelling smelling like boil eggs the salmon was green looking molded they man handled the fish with no gloves and no face masks

Pre-ordered two cases of cat fish fillets a few days before NYE. Scheduled for pick up on 12/31 at 9a. I cannot thank Collin enough for his superior, on-time service. Upon arrival, fish was perfectly iced in individual coolers. Collin even carried coolers to car for me.
My Aunt, who I gifted one of the cases, and I both raved about how meaty, fresh and delicious the fillets were! Can’t wait to re-order again.
Catanese is my new go-to for all seafood needs.

Stumbled upon this market after driving an hour to the Westside Market, only to find out the fish market inside didn't have what I was looking for. Headed there with low expectations but figured it was worth a shot since it was just a few minutes away from the market. Once inside, a friendly associate asked what I needed help with. Told him I was looking for mahi and he said "we're out up here but let me check the back". A few minutes later, he makes his way up to the counter with a large mahi in hand. He skinned and deboned it right there for me and sent me on my way.
The price and quality of the fish were both amazing! My only regret is that I didn't buy more when I was there. I'll definitely be back!

Fast and friendly service. Only place in town I could find Mahi. It was excellent! I'm going back for more, tomorrow.

I've been cooking for years and anytime I want seafood or fish this is where I come. They always have exactly what I'm looking for at a fair price point. Can't complain at all.
