Catch-a-Fire Pizza - Blue Ash reviews
15Excellent pizza and salads. Friendly, competent service. And the vegan pizza crust is both gluten-free and delicious, and they happily accommodate celiac diners. A+
If you're a fan of wood-fired pizza, this place is maybe the best I've had. I had the pleasure of eating there for the first time on Tuesday and it was an absolute pleasure,
We went around 3 and it was pleasantly uncrowded. It gave us a wonderful opportunity to really soak everything in, from the perfectly curated reggae music to the most comfortable restaurant chairs I've ever sat in.
The manager was a delightful hostess and we had a lovely time chatting with her. She made an excellent recommendation for me, and talked to us about some of the unique ingredients on the menu.
I ordered the Mellow Mood, and added the guanciale (the manger's suggestion), and it was delicious. My friends ordered the Three Little Pigs and Stir It Up pizzas, which were both incredible as well. I also ordered some sticky toffee pudding to go, so yummy!
Can't recommend this place highly enough!
I stopped in here while on a business trip looking for some pizza. Clay the bartender was awesome and gave me the rundown on the menu and drinks on tap. The Crazy Potatoheads is an amazing pizza and a combo that I never thought would work. All in all great service great food and great environmen!
Had a great time at Catch a Fire pizza restaurant with my family over New Year's Eve! The food was awesome and the service was great. As a vegetarian, I was thrilled to find a whole section dedicated to veggie options. I definitely plan on going back.
I give the food 5 stars! It was really good. Service was average. But the staff was running around like the place was on fire. Just too under staffed. The hectic environment negatively impacted the atmosphere. But again, the food quality was outstanding!
Placed several orders for delivery. The packaging is not consistent. Sometimes the delicious fire starters (stuffed peppers with goat cheese) in the boxes to hold in the heat with napkins and forks. This time again just the round containers they were baked in. No boxes, napkins, or even placed in a bag. They're very good, but will not order for delivery again. For the price, I'd expect at least napkins and a couple plastic forks all in a bag. Just saying.
Pizza was excellent. Great crust. Considering it wasn't crowded at lunch, it took an unreasonably long time to get our pizzas. People typically have an hour for lunch. They need to step up to bring food out sooner.
They have unique pizzas and have a good quality taste. Small dining room, but service on each of our visits was excellent. Has a good decor. Clean restrooms, has a padio, which in the winter you can reserve a private bubble to dine in.
We went for a birthday lunch. It was our first time at this location. Matt, our server, was excellent. He was friendly, helpful, attentive, and fun.
The pizza was delicious. Wine, a Barbera, was a wonderful surprise. And the dessert- sticky pudding was worth getting again.
All in all this was a great experience, thank you Matt and Catch - a- fire. We will be back.
First time ordering from the Blue Ash location after enjoying the Madtree location for years. $30 for large Three Little Pigs. It was picked up and eaten right away so timing wasn’t an issue. The crust was softer & flimsier than a wet paper towel so slices couldn’t be picked up without crumpling and the toppings completely sliding off. Seems like it wasn’t cooked nearly enough or something. Literally had to eat it with utensils. Extremely disappointing and won’t be back. Could’ve had a better quality pizza from Dominos for $10.2 stars for service and a nice looking restaurant but between the pizza quality for the price that gets a 1.
The Cornerstone pizza (pepperoni with 4 cheeses) was very floppy with an uncomfortable amount of grease. The pizza was dominated by the pepperoni and had almost zero cheese on it. This was the first item on their menu so was expecting more from it as well. I think dining in it's a 4.5/10 pizza then after frying leftovers so it's crispier itll be a 5.8/10.
Their beer and non fountain sodas are nice. Was a pleasant surprise that the sodas were free refills so you could try different ones.
Everything we ordered was perfect. My grandson loved the BBQ pizza. My husband got the 3 little pigs pizza. My daughter got a build your own with gluten free crust and a pesto sauce, veggies and fresh mozzarella. I ordered cauliflower crust with veggies and fresh mozzarella. We did wait a long time for the food, the the food was fantastic. My grandson got the s'mores dip w/graham crackers dessert - it was really yummy. The toasted marshmallows on the top were perfectly by browned.
The food was great and being able to watch them make the food was really cool. Also the service was great.
Very impressed with the pizza. Our waitress was great too.
Definitely looking forward to going back soon.
This will be on our new pizza place! The shrimp scampi appetizer is amazing! Our waitress told us to keep the leftover butter from the scampi to dip our pizza crust in. Oh my goodness that is soooooo delicious! We got the 3 little pigs pizza and it was scrumptious! We will definitely be there several times a month!
