Scott and his team were great to work with! He listened to our wants and made them happen without question. The food he prepared for our wedding was incredible, as we're the desserts and late-night snacks. Highly recommend Scott and his crew for your catering needs.

We hired Scott and his team for our wedding at The Peak and it was a great decision! Our chicken and brisket was delicious and the team put together a great cupcake display in addition to the rest of the dessert table. Scott was very easy to work with and accommodating to our needs and schedule changes.

We had Scott for our wedding in September of 2023. Him and his team did an absolutely fantastic job! He helped walk us through everything from start to finish and answered every single question we had for him. The food was top notch (mashed potatoes are the for sure go too), the service from his staff was impeccable, any small issue he was able to take care of it immediately and with no questions asked.

We also did cupcakes with him and they were fantastic! Flavors were spot on, the cakes were very decadent, and the cake wasn’t overwhelmed by a massive amount of frosting.

Everything was perfect. We could not have been happier with our choice for catering. Thank you Scott and staff for everything!

So incredibly glad I hired Scott. Isaac, the captain and his crew was phenomenal. Constantly asking how else they can help in every area of the catering experience. Guests kept commenting how wonderful the food was and we shared the leftovers the next day with extended family.

Sent them a question about a catering request and they never even bothered to respond. At this point I wouldn't trust them for a badly bagged lunch much less a gourmet meal.

Avoid at all cost!

Two weeks after my wedding and I am still hearing from my guests that this was the best wedding food they have ever had! Scott and team were absolutely incredible, they took care of everything from setting up the napkins at each place setting, flipping my venue from ceremony to reception, clearing plates from tables, refilling waters to cleaning the reception when it was over. The staff wouldn’t even let me lift a box at the end of the day, they carried everything for me out to our cars. They were all so kind and thoughtful, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Scott has so much experience in the wedding world, I didn’t need a day of coordinator because he did it all for me. He made sure the flower girls went down the aisle on time, he made sure guests went to the right place for cocktail hour and served up the best food ever, followed by a beautiful and delicious dessert bar, coffee and chocolate covered strawberries. It’s all very impressive what they do and the price honestly can’t be beat!

We had some time in Columbus waiting on family to fly in. Went to “Catering by Scott”. What we found was like being at a lunch in a restaurant with friends and friends of friends. Scott came table to table and talked. Evert was one of the servers. Joked and talked like we had known her for years. The menu of home made meals is amazing. We had a Reuben and a Miamian. If you go to Columbia and don’t take the time to be a part of this experience—you are missing something special.

Absolutely perfect! The best wedding food I have EVER had at a wedding. People are STILL talking about the food I had at my wedding and it is all thanks to Catering with Scott! Everything was delicious and decadent! The cupcakes were incredible and our cake was PHENOMENAL. The setup was pure perfection. Scott knows what he is doing! He helped me pick out the linen and was right with what he recommended. Him and his wife treated us like family. I truly felt like I was apart of the family. The mashed potatoes are truly the best I have ever had in my life and people could not stop raving about them. I could go on and on about the food! It was honestly such a great decision and I wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone for their wedding, only if you want to have an amazing dinner and have people still talking about it weeks after!

I had my wedding on 9/10/22 at Irongate Equestrian Center and we used Catering by Scott. We had a very pleasant experience with Scott and the team. We still have people telling us how good the food was. Scott regularly works with Irongate so the day of was very seamless. A few things that really stuck out to me were that every vegetarian/vegan got a very full plate of food and it wasn't just what was on our menu that didn't have meat in it. It was specialized for vegan restrictions. He was also able to accommodate a last-minute vegetarian addition. Also, the staff day of was great and so attentive. They moved food around if people were missing from a table and packed up a bunch for us to take for later. Scott was great to work with. He has been in the business a long time so he has a lot of experience and ideas that you are free to take or not take. I am a pushover so it can be hard to say no in general but when I did I was listened to. We were deciding between a few options for our meal and he assured us that the less expensive option would be delicious so we went with it and weren't disappointed. So he is confident on his menu whether it is more or less expensive and didn't pressure the more expensive one. One thing he recommended and was appreciated was family style. It was somewhat unique for a wedding but I loved it. It saved time and wasn't as expensive as serving individual plates. I felt communication was satisfactory. Calling worked better for me and when a call was missed it was returned within a business day. Scott showed up on the wedding day during the reception which was appreciated. Overall, we had a great experience and looking back, the catering was a positive experience from our day.

Scott and his team did an excellent job at our daughter’s wedding Saturday. He was easy to communicate with during the planning process and even stopped into the bridal suite before the ceremony to say hello, which was an impressive gesture. His staff was professional and the food was expertly displayed and delicious. We are thrilled with how well the reception meal went. His cupcakes and chocolate covered strawberries were also exquisitely displayed and made for a delicious end to a perfect day. Thank you, Scott!

Donated food to the vet school and it truly brighten our day with so much to pick from and it was all very good!

I cannot thank Scotty and his team enough for being a part of a special celebration for our family! I shared my ideas and Scotty took the time to help me achieve my vision and put it into action. He is so kind and you can truly tell that he loves what he does. The meal and dessert spread was impeccably beautiful and absolutely delicious. The service exceeded the expectations of our family and our guests. The staff member that tended to our event came to set up with plenty of time before guests arrived and he went above and beyond to make sure our event was flawless. He was so kind and an absolute gem to work with. I cannot thank you all enough for being a part of making our event an absolute success! Down from Canton my son took me here for the second time, the owners are so caring and want to make sure everything is to your liking. No problem with liking you'll love it here, try the potato salad with any sandwich

If we could give Scott’s 10 stars here we would. He catered a large (~200 people) lunch that was both delicious and beautifully presented. (It included various salads, salmon, a fruit display and amazing desserts, including a few treats he created just for the person of honor and that reflected their interests - very creative and added a special touch). They were also easily able to work with special dietary needs. The next day we had a brunch at our home for about 30 out of town guests, before everyone left town, and this also was amazing and delicious and set up beautifully.

Truly, everyone on the team and staff was a delight to work with, and Scott himself is a gem and a great person. This is a business with an extremely professional and organized operation, but also a very personal and warm feel. Such a great combination for planning family and milestone events and celebrations. And the confidence you have in the team really allows you to enjoy your event in the moment. That’s such a gift.

Scott’s was key to making our celebration so special and successful and enabled us to take very good care of our guests all weekend. And our guests all commented on the food and presentation all weekend. We’d call Scott’s again for an event - large or smaller - in a heartbeat and we’d be happy to speak with anyone considering Scott’s to share more.
