Beautiful location with plenty of parking and was definitely worth the entrance fee to explore the bog. The paths leading around the bog are well kept and offer places to sit, rest, and enjoy the surroundings. Will definitely visit again!

A super destination for natural & Ohio history. The people working here are very well versed and love the museum and natural preserve. The boardwalk is easy to maneuver and plenty of places to sit around the 1.1 mile hike.

Enjoyed my hike around the bog, signs are very informative as to what to look for. Fauna and Floral.

Drove by several times on way to Cincinnati. Decided to stop today, but not open on a Monday. Didn't have a lot of time but would have liked to see the visitor center. Surprised they charge a $5 fee. Been many places that don't charge fees. The parking lot could also be maintained a little better as lots of weeds were present.

This is a nice place to visit to be out in nature. You can easily get to Cedar Bog off of the Simon Kenton bike trail 5 miles outside of Urbana if you choose to get there that way. There are public restrooms right inside the welcome center and be sure to check out all the information and exhibits there before you start your walk. You can get free maps and so many free information guides there too! I highly recommend this place! I will have to be sure to return during the fall season too. It's peaceful. Nice. I liked watching all the dragonflies buzz around and there's lots of little lizards running around on the boardwalks. They are funny little creatures. I looked around for snakes too but didn't spot any, thank God. Will be back! ️

Very interesting fen nature area, not a true bog. Easy walk with lots to see and learn. Very well done, and we didn't get to see the nature center.

This place is great. Check the website for hours of operation. Some many amazing plants and animals to see.

We had a wonderful time. There is a donation fee of $5.00 per person. No pets as it is a Nature Preserve. There were volunteers on the boardwalk that were quick to answer questions and highlight some of the foliage and animals. The entirety is a boardwalk trail with benches placed throughout to take a rest if needed. The nature center and gift shop was nice. All the workers/volunteers were incredibly sweet.

Beautiful area. It had rained when we were there so boardwalks were slippery we were told.

This is a beautiful spot! The boardwalk is about a mile long and took us ~1.5 hours. We did stop and look for birds and reptiles often along the way. Home to many endangered and threatened species of plants in Ohio. Orchids bloom in spring and early summer. We're able to see many skinks, flowering wildflowers, and an owl! Definitely would recommend, can't wait to go back in the fall and see the different blooms.

Beautiful park, a true hidden gem. Unfortunately the mosquitoes were rampant this morning when I went because of the warm winter and the rain that was passing through.

The Nature center is small but very nice. It is open Wed-Sat (not sure about Sun). It costs $5 to walk the bog boardwalk which is very nice since it was updated about a year or so ago. I saw a skink in the wild for the first time. There are many birds, butterflies, dragonflies, and fairly unique plants. They have many nice signs which tell you about the surrounding nature.

Love it here. We get a family pass yearly. Beautiful place and very educational. Love taking the family here, especially the grandkids. Highly recommend and worth contributing to. Thank you.
