Cedarwood Plaza reviews
17 My mother was placed at Cedarwood Plaza a few days into the Covid19 pandemic. She is blind thus there is a multitude of accommodations necessary to make her transition seamless. We, as a family, were very nervous about her placement in this most uncertain time. Ms. Samantha Bill, Admission Coordinator, and Ms. Bianca Fitcheard, Medicaid Liaison assisted with making her transition an optimal experience. They both provided our family with premier customer service and support.
During the time the facility has had restrictions on visitation, I have been able to participate in a weekly Skype call with my mother. It allows an opportunity to have a virtual face to face visit with her. Those calls have meant the world to me. It provides visible evidence of the care being provided.
Lastly, because my mother is visually impaired she requires assistive technology. I have been able to ship those items to her and Marisol, Activities Director has programmed the items for my mother's use. I appreciate the care being provided to and for my mother. Keep up the great work!
Due to the COVID the staff have really made it easy on me as a family member with the Skype visitation to see my mom weekly. I appreciate the staff at Cedarwood for keeping me informed about my mother and making it safe for her.
My father was here and passed within five days of coming here. The staff is unprofessional and rude hung up on me and wasn’t helpful at all I’m very sad he even came here only one staff member was nice Gi Gi thank you for your understanding but everyone else needs to be fired.
My mom went in Cedarwood plaza at the beginning of March for rehabilitation because she broke her hip. Shortly after COVID 19 happened I could no longer visit my mom due to stay at home order. The staff are amazing, the entire facility. I've had nothing but positive experiences. I have weekly skype visits with my mom and that means the world to me. She was recently diagnosed with alzheimer and I didn't want here to forget who I was. I just want to say thank you to all the staff and may God keep you is my prayer
Cedar wood plaza had my dad there for about 4 months in these crazy times we are in dealing with Covid and not being able to come and visit the girls there and the admin staff reached out to me and my family giving us updates via phone and also via Skype so I can see my dad and speak with him they ran Covid checks to make sure the facility was safe and gave us updates on him I can’t say enough about the staff here at cedar wood how they were very accommodating and helping in these times.
This place has really gone down.the administrator is not good, very dismissive of staff concerns, never in the building to address issues, and not good with following up with things. The residents definitely is not a priority to her at all. Legacy please replace her!
Cedarwood Plaza is a good facility two of my relative were residents there and they both liked it the therapists there are great the nurses are great and friendly I myself love working there for many reasons thank you cedarwood for all that you guys do there️
A family member recently stayed at Cedarwood plaza for therapy after having surgery. The staff was attentive, professional, and very friendly. I am so thankful to the Cedarwood staff for the excellent care and attention- 5 star quality at its best!
The place is a best kept secret. The staff are nice and make every attempt to make the patient and the family comfortable. I've been to other places and this place is far better than most. Its like one big happy family. If there are problems they get addressed. Its a nice place and the patients are happy.
The staff aim to please. They are friendly and attempt to be accommodating. The care provided is good and the therapy is excellent.
Cedarwood Plaza provides quality care has a family oriented atmosphere and a very effective therapy department
This place is very unprofessional from the nurses to the aides. We are currently suing them for negligence of my mom. I can't say anything good about this establishment. Just horrible!
Only met 2 nurses there any count therapy is awesum food not so much i wont mention why they get a one star but i had to give them a one no 0’s
The staff and management are extremely unprofessional. Their was never anyone at the nurse station. We asked to fax over transfer papers and the social worker and manager took to long to do the needed papers and when they did they faxed over the information they sent one piece of information and that was one piece of paper when at least 6 pages were needed. The attitude of everyone as if they don't care and did not want to be there. The meal plan is not in accord with the needs of a person. DO NOT send a family member or person here.
Service here is bad nurses have a terrible attitude and do not respond to the residents in a timely matter and some of the aids are always on the phone.
THE WORST NURSING HOME IN OHIO! THEY ARE CURRENTLY BEING SUED BECAUSE A PATIENT BROKE THEIR HIP. NONE OF THE STAFF WERE AWARE. HORRIBLE!
My mom is currently doing rehabilitation there. She's been their twice! She loves this facility and refuses to go anywhere else. As long as she loves it I'm all for it.
