CenterPoint Energy Dayton Air Show reviews
14My father took me several times when I was a kid. I finally was able to take my son here in 2023 and it brought back so many memories. If you have never experienced the airshow definitely come check it out!
I work for Glawe Awning & Tent manufacturering. Me and my coworkers put all the Tents up for everyone that came to the show.
I had Pavillon seating. Great show BUT pricing for food is outrageous and people were standing along the fencing in front where they were blocking the view of the flight line. We paid for those seats and the people were complaining about it. The staff tried to get people to move but they kept coming back. The police showed up and talked to the people and did NOTHING.
My family and I have went to the air show that passed 2 years now. We have a fantastic time and we love seeing all the different aircrafts perform. It is definitely worth going to see and making the memories with your kids. We will definitely be back.
LOVE THE AIR SHOW! Took the grandkids to the best air show in the world! Came in on rt 40 and got right in! Temperature is perfect! Wear white or lighter clothing so you don't burn. Food and drink are avaliable. KIDS WILL LOVE IT!
A fantastic idea. However DO NOT pay for pavilion seating. We took my family including my elderly grandparents one of which is a Vietnam veteran and opted for pavilion seating to be able to provide shade for them. Unfortunately the staff do not care if you can not hear the show. They do not have any speakers set up so unfortunately if you do not buy a program (which is an extra $5) you have no idea who is flying what aircraft or what that aircraft was used for. At this point we would have been better off to not pay to attend the show and could have had the exact same experience sitting in a Walmart parking lot.
This was an absolute joke of a show. The parking situation was horrendous, everything is over priced, and the volunteers were callous and rude.
I wish I had never come to this show. It was a huge waste of money and my time. My kid's were just as miserable as me. I am seriously thinking about calling my bank to refute charges for this monstrosity of an event.
Traffic was absolutely terrible. The way to get to town was closed and I don't understand why. It took us up to three hours to get there and park. Then we had to wait 30 minutes to use the bathroom. The whole thing was very unorganized.
No water, only pepsi for your family on this nice sunny day. All cooks and cashiers are volunteers so it’s like robots bc they couldn’t care less about your needs or any confusion. NO WATER LOL $12 brats, 14$ for 3 flattened chicken fingers and 20 fry’s. What I joke. Our family of 8 won’t return and highly considering calling my bank…. This was a total disappointment from what we remember as kids.
The air show was great to watch. Remember no coolers, but you can bring in water and food. Which is good- water is $5/bottle. There are plenty of things to see and do for all ages!
Dayton Airshow, as usual an amazing display of air power and skill, truly a world-class entertainment. Proud to be a Daytonian! This show is a hallmark of birthplace of aviation - Dayton. Must see!
I would never go again purely because of the parking. It was ridiculous, and there were no people directing traffic in places that would matter. So much money to be waiting to park for hours…
Great show as always. I used the Blue Sky Chalet, and it was great. I could stay in the air conditioning, or go outside to see the flightline. My only complaint was that the buffet ended before we got to the chalet - so no food. Even the cookies ran out, and no others were brought out.
