Charak Center for Health and Wellness, Medina OH

I’ve been going to charak for quite some time now and they are all just so amazing. I absolutely love my psychiatrist and my case manager. Such good communication and they’ve helped me through so much. I couldn’t get through anything without them. So amazing.

As another recent reviewer also noted, I have had difficulty making contact with anyone at Charak so that I can schedule a new patient appointment. I used the website link to request an appointment and never heard back. I then called during business hours and selected the option to leave my number for a call back but never heard anything. I then called and waited 10 minutes on hold before being rolled into voice mail (at least they tell you this will happen after 10 minutes), and I then left a message requesting a call back and am still waiting. It's a frustrating experience for anyone, much less people who are reaching out for mental health care.

Woost most unorganized place I have ever been.poor comunicators.would not answer the simplest questions. Referred by a hospital showed up they just looked at me.will never go back.wanted to do an assessment then have us drive an hour to re ieve an injection and tried not to tell us so we. Would stay for their assessment.

I wouldn’t recommend. I tried calling the number didn’t work then I called the other number they never called back or answered so I went in and told them. Just gave me the same number to call. Eventually answered. I made appointment, then needed to cancel and they never answer the phone til the day of appointment. Even tho I left voicemail then pressed the call back because it took so long. Just to much of a pain, stressful.

The Charak Center has been an extreme detriment to my mental health. Between rude providers, holding prescriptions hostage, and a disconnected phone line, it is the single worst mental health office imaginable. Even the employees will joke with you about how badly this ship runs. Do not go here.

First this place is a scam. They require a drug test but don't tell you that the insurance most likely won't cover it, so you'll have to pay nearly $900.00 for it on top of the visit. Secondly, you'd think that they would notify you that they are only doing video counseling and not in person but you never actually see the person except over the computer screen. Next the nurse practitioner, if you can call him that, is a joke. Such old school mentality. All you have to do is think positive and listen to positive music and you will be fine. Oh thank you. Wish I would have thought about that before. Not only did he give poor advice like that but also talked about himself the whole time comparing him to you but bashed another counselor because he didn't think they matched his opinion and wasnt working for me. Also required me see their counselor even though I am already seeing someone else. And tried to push their pharmacy. Everything under one roof so they can control everything about you. What a scam. I would never ever ever go back to this place.

Had an issue with the meds I was put on by another Dr. They listen and put my on the right meds

Kim Puett and Erik McKean are wonderful they are very helpful in getting things and making sure I have what I need whether it's my medications or going to the store! I appreciate their help so much!

My daughter and myself see Nuru, Shalini, Sara, and Kim. All the staff are extremely helpful and resourceful. We love their energy and always look forward to our visits!

I scheduled with a doctor and when I showed up for my first appointment they switched it to a nurse practitioner, I knew on the spot that this is not the practice for me. I think in order to have a healthy relationship with your psychiatry practice there needs to be trust. I don’t trust them therefore I cannot recommend them.

Really poor service. Have to schedule an appointment for every single prescription refill. Staff have said to me what an absolute disaster this company is. Would not recommend.

Did my appointment while i was at the hospital. So i stopped there to do a urine screen. Since i was in that town. Or my scripts won't be filled.

They're really slow only because I just relocated to the area and I'm not able to get back on all my medication because this location is super slow and the majority of the week that's only the secretary working and boy he's ignorant at times

I strongly urge anyone looking for help to stay away from this facility. They do not care about your preferences for service, they do not listen to you as a person. It is a large scale facility looking to make money and support their pharmacy. Please find help elsewhere!

If you have the means to go somewhere better, do so. The owner is corrupt and only cares about money. Some of the employees care about the clients/patients, but that's about 10% of the people. They also treat they're employees horribly and the good people get fired. DO NOT go here if you can help it.

I've been going here for almost 6 years. Staff is all very nice, understanding, and truly very helpful. Thank you from the bottom of my!
