I have nothing, but good things to say about this center! I had a bad experience at another center, that left me jaded to ever putting my child back in a day care setting. I finally reached a point where I had to and scheduled a tour at Childtime. I went with so much anxiety, but once I walked through those doors I could tell this center was different. The lobby was nicely put together. A few teachers were on their breaks, laughing and communing with each other. Jessica, the director was there to greet me. I had so many question and she answered each one with ease. By the time the tour was over, I felt like I was about to have my "Say yes to the dress" moment. Well I did say yes, and it's the best decision I have made. My child has now been going for over a year. My son is excited to go to school every single day and even wakes me up on the weekends asking if he can go see his friends at school. I would and do highly recommend this center to everyone.

I recently put in my two weeks to leave childtime as an employee of three and a half years and I am devastated to have to leave in order to finish my last year in school. Being a former employee I can tell you that the negative reviews of this place come from people who were not just "thrown out". Childtime works very hard in giving everyone a fair chance and working to fix problems before the problems become an issue of other children's safety as well. Once there is a point that either a teacher or other child's safety is a concern that's when action is taken. These decisions are never done in a way that discriminates against anyone because the corporation has many checks and balances to make sure everyone is treated fairly. The idea of the director being unfair to African Americans is completely hilarious to me because the director (Jessica) comes from a black family on her fathers side.
Overall the center opporates and looks out for all the families like they are their own. At the end of the day it is still a business though and does run like one too, but that's what keeps the doors open. The centers philosophies in learning follows directly with developmentaly appropriate practices and children are encouraged to learn from mistakes and grow in a caring setting. I guarantee any classroom you visit, a teacher is in there dedicated to ensuring your child will be safe, valued, and loved.
The center is centered around allowing children to learn through play (which is developmentaly appropriate from K-3 really). It's stance on behavior issues is teaching children how to redirect their emotions and finding ways that work for that individual child's needs in how to appropriately articulate how they feel and process those feelings.
Parents receive constant communication through many different ways but the most unique is through an app system that allows for quick reports throughout the day. This can be pictures/videos of activities or written confirmation of each child's growth and daily habits. Teachers also have access to a pretty neat tool that allows them to look at different ways to approach behavior issues they might be experiencing in their classroom and offers suggestions to help solve those issues.
Overall the staff is a very close group who truly love what they do and loves every child that comes into their classroom like they're their own. Many of them go above and beyond what they're expected/paid to do to ensure every family has what they need to help their children grow and feel loved.
Would highly recommend this school to anyone looking in the area!

My son attended this center for 14 months and he and I both loved it. We enrolled him when he was six months old. At first I was a bit of a helicopter parent and had a hard time leaving him. Darlene and Andrea were amazing with all of the babies! You can tell they really care for them like there own which made me feel better about leaving him when he was still so small. I was reluctant to have him move to the infant 2 classroom because he wasn't walking yet but he started walking the week before he transitioned. I wasn't a huge fan of the teacher that was originally in the infant 2 classroom but she no longer works for the company. Liz and Sade were great with my son. Jessica, the center director, always listened to any concerns I had and respected my requests for my son. I loved that they use the Brightwheel app so I was able to communicate directly with his teachers as well as receive pictures and updates on him throughout the day. I'm sad to read some of the other reviews of this center because, in my opinion, they do not accurately reflect the quality of care at this center.
