They're so friendly. They go over & above for our dogs and kitties. Dr Picklesimer, Amy, & Dr Cramer are great!

I had major issues with my typical vets office last minute over my cat. I found this vet 10 minutes away called & explained my situation (mom with a newborn and four year old & I had to be at the VA in Chillicothe before 345 to pick up medicine/paperwork) yet I already had my cat with me. My cat came with our house and she has become our entire world. She is losing weight fast needing blood work & x ray done! This vet listened to my situation told me to come straight to them took amazing care of my cat so I could go to the VA before they closed and able to pick my cat back up!

They texted and called me with results went over an action plan & have been so helpful even with my two kids. I will be using this facility as our new vet office for my two Great Danes as well.

My son took his dog in when she came in heat for the 1st time, a hysterectomy was performed & put on meds, the dog started to seizure so Dr put her on meds for epilepsy, without even testing for it, it's been 3 wks & now has to be euthanized.today! Poor puppy! Please don't take your pets there, not if you love them.

I can't say enough good things about Chillicothe Animal Clinic. They are there when I need them with professional care and advice. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They truly care about my pets, I can't imagine ever going back to the vet I came from, which, yes, was a little more affordable but not by that much, knowing that my pet is getting quality care is worth more money I could ever dream of paying. Thank you Dr. Petzel and Picklesimer (hope I spelled that correctly) for the wonderful care you give my 2 babies.

Dr. Cramer and her tech were absolutely amazing. I went for a second opinion on my sick dog. I was seen quickly. I LOVE that we wait in cars until a room is available-makes for a much less stressful visit for both my dog and myself. I felt like the people that work there (from the receptionist, to the tech, to the vet) truly care about the well being of my dog. They listened to my concerns, took the issue seriously, and thoroughly explained what was going on with him and what the course of treatment would be as well as what could potentially come next. She spent a LOT of time with us which I haven’t experienced before. I was able to understand everything they said and felt very comfortable there.

They were able to get us in on short notice. Everyone was super nice and helpful. All our questions were answered to our satisfaction. The vet was exceptional. The costs for everything were lower than expected.

I want to start off my saying I literally have no respect for Lisa Cramer. She lacks empathy, concern, and professionalism. I took my cat in there for his first visit as he was newly diagnosed with diabetes. I talked to her and addressed my concerns but felt like I was being rushed and had more questions but apparently she didn't have time however her veterinarian technician tried to answer the best of ability and I wanna thank her for that. Honestly I didn't get a very good impression of Lisa to begin with and should not have went back and followed my gut Instinct. That's my fault. I scheduled appointments for the glucose curve but couldn't go back the following week due to her being on vacation. I got a letter stating I was "fired" as a client and that they couldn't provide the level of care I expect and due to non-compliance. Non-compliance meaning I had to cancel appointments 4 times the first two my pet was hiding under the couch and I couldn't get him out and be there before 9: 00. The second time the road conditions were icy, and the fourth I myself was sick. It's not like I didn't call every single time and make them aware of the situations.
They also said they tried calling me multiple times and they literally called me ONE time and I didn't answer because I was sick in bed. I have the phone records.
So with all that being said I would never recommend that place.
I had multiple people share with me their horror stories about that place and the poor care for their animals so thanks for doing me a favor and firing me because your right you can't exceed my expectations of the level of care my cat needs and deserves.

For the upper class and only nice to people who have lots of money and pay top dollar, otherwise they don't even want to be in the same room with you. My rescue has cancer and is in obvious pain. The young woman who examined my dog stood in the doorway after about a minute.then left, all other staff was nice but the vet is an extremely awful person. Lisa M Cramer is her name. She is very busy on social media apparently, maybe that's her problem. She should remember why she wanted to be a vet in the first place. She told me yes it's most likely cancer and then said, Tylenol and ibuprofen should be fine. Yeah.sure. I'd really love to see HER have a cancer mass and say, " yep Tylenol should fix it"! That's beside the $$$ surgery they wanted to perform, wonder if she thinks anesthesia is optional as well? I'm angry and sad that I now have to let my dog suffer her last few months out in pain. I will NOT be taking her thier to have her put down. Thanks for all the amazing help, but hey at least you got a good $200-300 for a whooping 5mins of my time and some ibuprofen. But to all the other staff I appreciate your kindness in my rough time. Karma sucks Lisa

I took my 4 month old puppy in this isn’t her regular vet but she got parvo before I could get her her vaccinations. When I brought her in you could tell she was suffering they refused to euthanize her I paid 300$ because it was all I had to get all this medication to treat her and they gave me all this hope that it would help not as best as hospitalization would but that it would help a day and half later and my puppy passed she suffered all because a vet cares so much more about all this money rather than just taking them away peacefully rather than let them suffer from a horrible illness.
