China Bell Restaurant, Grove City OH

No restaurant commands quite so much nostalgic serenity from me quite like China Bell. I've eaten there ever since I was old enough to consume Chinese food, and I've never once been disappointed. In the probably 100 times I've been there, I've sampled a variety of dishes from their extensive menu, and they have always impressed. There are many great Asian restaurants around, but this one still to this day occupies a paramount position in my heart. I'm looking forward to many grand experiences with the outstanding staff.

First time going here Sunday 7/29/18. They have a Sunday buffet, which is pretty good. They are very friendly and like to keep your glasses full and make sure you like the food.

Buffett not too bad.general tsos chicken was my favorite. Egg rolls kinda greasy. Try the schezuan green beans they are delicious!

This place has been here since the mid-1980s.the owner is very passionate about food and does a great job keeping the place up. The servers were very attentive and the food was very good. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Chinese food.they have a buffet regularly and it is very good as well. It is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for today. This was my mother's favorite restaurant, and I can see why.

Nice atmosphere and basically everything else was average except for the price which was a little above average. The wrap for the spring roll and the beef in my dinner were both tough.

We held our high school reunion at China Bell in the event space. The venue was perfect, the food and service were wonderful. It was affordable and they were so easy to work with. Thank you so much for a great reunion!

When it comes to quality food and great service, there is no better restaurant in Grove City. If you are in this part of the town, or not, give this place a visit.

Best meal I have had out in a long time. Great service. Love the atmosphere and superb Szechuan chicken with healthy proportion of vegetables. Delicious. Lunch comes with soup and egg role for reasonable price. I'll be going back soon. Pictures coming

Only Chinese place I will order from in grove city. We have people drive from Dayton to come here as well. Staff is great and they have been around for a while. Don't be discouraged by the front not being flashy you will be amazed by the food.

Maybe I hit them on an off day, but I was not impressed at all. The food was sub par. The lady didn’t understand my order and the beef garlic was all vegetables

We had a loss in our family;and we were trying to figure out what to do with 30 of us. I decided to go and ask the owner if he could acommadat us. I said on this time 4-5 oh yes he said. When we got there we had a VERY NICE ROOM. The food Oh the Food was PERFECT, AND THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. I all my years my 97 years my father in law said I have NEVER BEEN TREATED SO WELL AT A RESTAURANT! JUST ON THAT I WOULD SAY ENJOY! THANK YOU GARRY AND CATHY AND THE STAFF! YOU HELPED BRING LIGHT TO TRAGEDY!

Great food and people. Sunday buffet is pretty good. Self serve soft ice cream machine with several different flavors is always a hit

The worst Chinese food I have ever had, watery and flavorless sauce, poorly cooked chicken. I went here on a friend's recommendation and was very disappointed. They insist they get good food here so either they have dead taste buds or I was very unlucky.

Would give zero stars if I could. The worst restaurant I’ve ever been in during my entire life. The buffet had nothing to eat on it and what was there was terrible. Food was almost inedible. I would have been more satisfied eating three day old McDonalds by a dumpster. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.

The staff is what makes this place great. Feels like a "everyone knows your name" kind of place. Yes it could use an update but the genuine care and friendliness of the staff well over makes up anything I could nit pick and the food is very good as well. Glad this place is still a part of Grove City!

Normally very good, this time the chicken tasted dry and perhaps cooked and kept around too long. So maybe just a bad night.

It was average on this day. Really busy which is a great thing but everyone that ate in pay at the same window as pick up orders. Then your food for pick up comes out and they don't tell you it's ready so who knows how long it was sitting there then it was barley warm when I got home.

My family and I love to come here. The service is great, and carry out orders that are placed through the phone are ready very quickly.

Took the family there for "Christmas Eve-Eve Dinner". Not the worst Chinese food I've ever had, but close to it. While the crab Rangoon and pot stickers were decent, what China Bell calls "hot and sour soup" (which is supposed to be spicy) had exactly ZERO spice. I hoped for better with the entree (spicy curry, per the menu), and was utterly disappointed after being served "curry" with all the flavor of wallpaper paste. Could not even justify even taking whatever was on the dish home to doctor up. Will not return.
