As always the huge, incredible collection of art is beautiful and overwhelming. We didn't opt for the special exhibit this time, but still, three hours went quickly. I lived in Cincinnati for 50+ years and now live in FL. I used to visit the art museum once or twice per year. One of my big regrets is that I didn't spend even more time there, while I had the chance. I'm back for a visit, and the art museum was near the top of my Cincinnati bucket list. The display of local artists' work is wonderful. I also love the ancient artifacts.

It's one of my stops, so I only get to see where the vending is inside. But the outside is beautiful and always nice to see.

The excellent art museum! Beauty in the middle of the city! Parking is tight, but you should be able to find a spot (have some patience). The collection inside is genuinely marvelous! The PG hall, my favorite. And the kid's art and craft section are very well designed with projects for kids that will help them with their creativity.

One thing to remember in these Covid times, is that the cafe' asks for reservations. I never thought of that before now for a cafe'in a museum.

It’s a good museum, but I expected a bigger collection.

The Edward Hopper was my favorite work, but there were lots of interesting pieces.

I found the layout a bit odd, lots of museums have that problem, and it doesn’t flow well requiring a lot of backtracking to see everything.

This museum is a must see. The exhibits are always AWESOME. I got to see the Renaissance Collection here as a teen. Great family visit this time though! Even the teens loved this! Can't wait to go back hopefully to see jewelery collection/exhibit coming soon! ️?

This is simply one of the best art museums in the country. I’ve been going here for years and it never disappoints! They always have really cool and interesting exhibits like pieces from Burning Man and and an exhibit showcasing artwork made by various employees of the institute (the only time I’ve ever seen this done anywhere — such a great idea). Highly recommend!

Great art museum. Very informative. I enjoyed strolling around and admiring all the art work. Well staffed, when I had a question there was always someone close by who was able to answer.

I visited with my daughter and mom and we had a good time exploring. The best experience was in the Egyptian section, particularly because of a gentleman that showed us the interactive elements and had interesting information about the museum. It's always nice dealing with someone that has passion about what they do.

The Kara Walker exhibit was outstanding and the staff was super helpful and inviting, especially the person at the front desk.

Always a pleasure, and I love the adherence to masks, makes us feel more comfortable.
A strikingly good art collection, one the best in the Midwest.

HUGE museum! Extensive collection, from Egyptian pottery to paintings by the Masters to current glassworks. Knowledgeable staff; if you're looking for a particular artist, ask at the desk. And it's free of charge, with free parking in their huge private lot. One of the best art museums I've been in; if you liked the Smithsonian, you'll like CAM.

Amazing that this is free. Lots of interesting, beautiful and thought provoking art. The Terrace Cafe is a nice place for lunch.

The Cincinnati Art Museum had a great collection and nice layout, especially for a free museum! The special exhibits do seem a bit overpriced considering many of them consist mostly of a conglomeration of pieces that are usually in the free gallery. We were disappointed that a particular piece we wanted to see - Rubens - that is typically part of the free exhibits, was at that time located in the paid exhibit.

I love walking through the corridors of this place. It is where I say my very first Picasso, Monet, and Andy Warhol. All at different times. The best thing about this place is that it is free!

The jewelry show is definitely worth a visit, amazing craftsmanship and creativity even if the design-style does not hold up to time (in my opinion). The piped-in era-appropriate sound track is still as cool as ever. (OK, probably dating myself here.)
