Cincinnati Childrens Discovery Center reviews
13Some fun things to do. Not a huge play space. Kids (3YO and 2YO) got bored quickly. I wouldn’t go out of your way to visit but if you have the kids at Liberty Center it’s definitely worth going. It’s on the second floor where the food court is. We left feeling like we needed to sanitize as with all public play places that we visit. Would be nice to see some sanitizing stations.
Alot smaller than imagined. Unfortunately there was alot of unsupervised kids. Library is pretty good though
No one takes care of the place, older children take the blue balls from their place and throw them in places that are impossible to get. Husband an I have fished balls from all sorts of places to allow our son and other children to play. Needs to be bettered monitored. It’s a very neat place, but it needs to be better maintained. People just do not take care of it properly and let their older kids do whatever they like.
It's a lovely indoor play area and the location makes it perfect to take a little break from the hustle and bustle and let your kids play. It's easy to see where your child is at all times and there's different activities to explore. There's only one entrance so your child cannot really escape like some other playgrounds allow. There's books from the nearby library to enjoy as well! The seats look a bit dingy and I wish it would be thoroughly cleaned more often, there's also an activity board that is broken right now, but overall it's wonderful!
Nice place for kids to play but seems like a few items are not functioning properly. Kids still seem to enjoy and don't mind it though:)
This playground was always busy. Place was decent and clean. My kids had fun being here. And it's close to the food court and restroom.
Super cool place for kids to play. One of the games has been broken down for months though. Nice to have a play area that's safe and fun right in the mall.
The play area itself is small but nice with digital and real life options, but the kids are hit and miss with behavior/attitude and level of parent supervision
Love this indoor playground we can take the kids to on a rainy day. We stop here anytime we visit the liberty center.
My kids enjoyed going here. If it cost money, I might be disappointed but it is FREE and I think that they have a pretty nice offering for free. It is not really designed for very young kids (2 and under) but from 3 to 10 or so it is a neat place. My kids favorite was the wall with the tube system to try and route the ball around. There were 6-10 balls available so no fighting with other kids. Even my husband could be found playing with this wall (he is an engineer and couldn't seem to resist!). The kids also live climbing in the giant pig structure and sliding down the slide. The foam area was okay but didn't hold their interest for long. Most of the electronic games are broken. It is by the food court and there is also a midpoint library location right next store so it is a good place to go on a dreary winter afternoon, get some lunch, burn off some energy and pick up a few books or movies at the library to take home to keep them entertained later and other than lunch, it is all free:)
Great place to play for little ones. There are 2 activists that hasn't worked in a while. They need to fix them.
What a disappointing place for parents and kids. The games and things are always broken. The air wall that is supposed to have balls to shoot through the air tunnels have been missing for months. Sometimes one or two balls will reappear.what a way to foster a fight environment for children! The pig lights and wings are supposed to be able to be controlled by the kids and is 80% of the time broken. The electronic games haven't worked in months. Not to mention the fact that the foam blocks are dirty. You can tell just by looking at them and I guarentee they're never cleaned. The only reason we have returned to this place is because of the library. We have come here when we're waiting for the library to open but each time I am disgusted by how dirty and broken everything is. With the amount of money sunk into and generated by the Libery Center, you would think they would keep their areas and things clean and working but obviously they don't care. I will NEVER encourage anyone to shop at Liberty Center. There are much better places to go.
