Circle K, Northwood OH

I come in there just about every night and I’m always greeted and treated great by the night shift girl. Very welcoming place expensive but so is every other gas station.

I came in here yesterday and I will say the associate working Paul younger guy with a scruff beard.that guy was busting his tail keeping up with all of the demands of the store with a calm composure not letting anything shake him.hopefully Paul gets the proper recognition he surely deserves cause this guy was a freaking rockstar.his manager or the manager on duty had said thank you and I just want it to be known here you want good service middle of the day go see Paul and he will take excellent care of you.thank you Paul

I will drive a mile out of my way to avoid going to circle k gas station because of how horrible each experience is. It's a shame because it used to be my favorite one. Not a single employee there has been polite and neither has the customers because they are angry at the terrible service. What happened to you guys?

I cannot describe how RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL the store manager Adam is. Thank goodness another store manager gave me the number to corporate to report him and told me who I need to speak with. She too was tired of the complaints that she receives from his antics.

Not a terrible location, store is generally clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly. As far as circle k goes this one is a little smaller than a lot of them but they still have a decent selection. Never had any problems with anything I was looking for not being in stock. Parking lot could use a little matinence and cleaning, gas pumps are in good working odder, never had a problem with them pumping slow.

Please explain to me when I go to any of the local circle k’s they send u to a self checkout?
2 people working but they don’t want to help u! I used to love this gas station, but sending me to self checkout when ur just standing there looking at me, I’m good on that! Speedway it is!

Got charged an extra $20 for something neither me or the cashier could recognize using the self checkout. They can’t do refunds so you have to call the corporate number that sends you to voicemail after three seconds of ringing.

I am appalled at this establishment and the service I received. The workers, 2, were not at the register when ready to check out. I raised my voice to ask to be checked out by anyone. A very loud mouthed employee shouted out " I do other things too"! "Not just sit around" I don't even want to shop there anymore! I don't want to reveal her name, but Am are the first 2 letters. Not the first time I've had a problem there!

Used the self checkout machine, total was what I was expecting. Then I ran my card and it charged me about $10 more. So I didn't leave, I waited in line to see the cashier to have her double check and refund me. She says "yeah they definitely overcharged you but I can't refund you because you used the checkout machine. There's a number on the door you can call and they can refund you. " What a joke.

"Cleaning the pumps" during a busy time is a really terrible idea. All but like 2-3 pumps were bagged out of service because they were "cleaning" pumps (I later realized that's the only reason they were bagged) I backed up to one of the few available pumps to wait for the other customer to be done. While I was waiting, one of the guys cut in front of me and came up and started "cleaning the pump" and rudely told me to "go find another pump" I went to this one because it was one of the few in service, and I was next in line, but he cut in front of me. I figured I'd wait, but then he rudely told me again "it's gonna be a while" while he purposely took longer just because I was waiting. My patience ran out a bit so I just used the pump after he moved over a bit to get the other side. He said rudely "oh, you're just going to get in my way" and I just said "I guess I am" since he was done anyway. Not only was this guy rude and unprofessional, it was a really bad time to be doing that anyway. I wonder why he works at a gas station for a living? Hmmm. Horrible attitude problems there.

Can we give zero stars? What happened today in this gas station was so bizarre and uncalled for. Erica and Amber are disrespectful human beings. F@&$ your mom and f&$@ your dad is what one of those classy ladies said to my husband while chasing him out of their gas station because he asked for help. Honestly, unnecessary. And on another note, it’s a gas station…. Self checkout?

Was told if I would not use self checkout terminal I would have to take my business elsewhere. Seriously!? ! It's a gas station!? !

I was shamed by the manager on Sunday 4/9/23 when I tried to buy Truly hard seltzer’s and refused to sell them to me citing it was “wine. ” However upon further investigation Truly Hard seltzer is made from the same fermentation process as beer therefore classifying it as a malt beverage which is the same classification as beer and falls well within the law to sell beer on Sunday. This woman is always obnoxious, rude and very disrespectful to customers and employees which I have witnessed many times because I consider myself a loyal customer and a sip and save membership holder. I hope this finds the owners eye and I will also be trying to get in touch with ownership directly via email/phone. This needs to be addressed and/or reprimanded before corporate is brought into mix. The worker is literally too lazy to run a register. So unless your self checkout, your on your own. Not that I'm sure the self checkout wasn't more intelligent and professional than the reformed cracked looking choice of an employee they chose to trust this stores location to, but if your ever looking for like some good quality meth or a store run worse than a bodega, look no further. Thanks Circle k, for another great location to lower my expectations even further.

I dig this store. Every time I go in, which is nearly every day, this crew is stellar. They always let me know about deals on things I’m buying if I missed it. Shout out the manager, Amber. She is a lovely young woman and she always is sweet and friendly. She even hooked me up with clearance protein bars I’m always buying so I could stock up this morning. She wins with the secrets. I’ll always stop in.
